DAOS really have been in a lot of controversial news lately

Do you think DAOS and governance protocols could inspire a better government/voting system? I'll take a socialized medicine hard fork version of the US stat

decentralization and DAOS could be the answer we need to have better, more efficient, equal, and transparent markets.

I am chill sorry if you get me wrong. Sure it will, but the cat is out of the bag and it ain't going back in. One way or another crypto will thrive, you cannot stop developers and investments, and you can't control all governments. Look at what Malta has done,. They changed their laws to welcome crypto developers. And now Gibraltar will follow suit. I think DAOS and crypto must be borderless on the internet and their legal entities to be in countries that want to adopt and grow their development. The fact that in China all western websites are banned didn't stop them. They all just simply use a VPN. So if the states ban crypto, VPN and other countries will solve their problems.

I really am not a fan of these DAOS, they've rarely gone to solve actual problems and only seem memeish.

DAOS are hiring, work is remote most of the time and schedule is hyper-flexible, they care about results, not how many hours you were tied to a chair. I say this based on my own experience.

Tried DAOS and got burnt. Started looking into NAAS (nodes as a service) and found Strong nodes. ROI is approximately 100 days. DYOR and join the their discord and reddit groups and check them out.

I've been getting into DeFi a lot more - DAOS and token swapping, experiencing a ton of different networks like Avalanche, BSC, Polygon, exploring traderjoe and pancake swap - experiencing the hell that is network fees (always forget to keep .05 for fees!). What has this experience and knowledge given me? A Brand new respect for the Polkadot is doing. I used to think governance tokens were some weird form of stock that would make we rich. But then i was given Moonbeam GLMR tokens for free - and I was like ... wait a sec. I understand what governance tokens are. I think I get why I invested it - why its important that there is inflation in this coin. .. why it needs to be locked up for 2 years, and how I don't need to just stake it, but invest it in projects. I got ACALA and ENJIN backing as well, and will be waiting for more free money through my support of DOT coin. The ONLY project that is treating crypto like a new form of currency and not just another type of stock that you invest in and sell later.

We need more adopters for sure, personally I feel.the process is perhaps too clunky for the masses to wrap their head around it or there's misconceptions around them such as they're a Ponzi scheme. You probably do already,, the Calculator guy is worth following on YT for those interested in learning more about DAOS and the power of compounding. (3,3) 4 life, GL Ohmie. .

In my experience, community governance hardly ever works. I’ve been in a few DAOS and it’s pretty much just a big cluster fuck. This DAO in particular would be insane. I’m not saying that everyone shouldn’t be able to participate, I’m just saying that people aren’t objective enough to abstain from voting on or proposing things they know absolutely nothing about. There needs to be some type of financial literacy test involved to vote or propose.

> Dog TVL is pointless when almost all of the coins are owned by insiders prove it. because from what i've seen you post, you never post any sources to back up your bullshit. its just conjecture that gets repeated in this subreddit constantly. there are tons of retail users using defi right now, especially because marinade made it a lot easier. If you have ~30,000 SOL staked in your validator right now you are profiting. Several DAOS in the last week have begun to setup their own validators. >Also how the fuck is 30,000 SOL plus 4k-7k a small enough sum to brush off? You say that so casually. I didn't say it was small. I literally said it was high if you read what I wrote but the 30K can come from anyone staking with you. The barrier to get in gets cheaper over time as hardware costs go down. There are still 1300+ validators and a nakamoto coefficient of 19. with mSOL having 400+ validators, being extremely popular for defi and their strict provisions for delegation, dog, you are just whining and complaining and exaggerating. reddit user mad solana doing well. going to come to daily thread and complain every day calling it centralized because its triggered you. its way more decentralized then half the garbage spread in this subreddit.

Remember when Yield farming became a trend? Now it’s DAOS. I think it’s a smart idea to make DAO involvement an important part of cyrpto strategy/portfolio. Quite frankly it’s an oversight not to do so in my opinion. The opportunity crypto is presenting…because of these DAOs….is truly amazing.

Maxis never change and refuse to acknowledge where the space is at already with DeFi, DAPPs, DAOS, ENS, and NFTs. The use cases of most of these are in their infancy but will change the world. Blockchain is much more then just BTC. Can't wait to watch him get recked when it flips.

Imma tell you why most of the altcoins from almost two years ago fell off so hard. This sub overlooks this all the time: Tech and decentralization does not matter. Use case does and network effects do. The new coins that all entered the top 20 are smart contracts platforms with comprehensive defi ecosystems or are hype fueled meme coins. Meme coins will have their short time in the sun. Then you have coins like ADA which are still just up there based on potential. Defi is different. You're gonna see more and more of the top 20 being dominated by defi platforms in the near future. Those defi platforms there all have over 1 million transactions per day. They are being used. Defi use cases are independent of their price which is a huge roadblock for a lot of coins. Here's a real simple one: Luna has a stablecoin called UST. You can stake UST on Anchor Protocol right now for 18% APY. That's a conservative strategy that yields a great return on your investment. This can be done whether the price of Luna is $5, $50 or $500. DeFi has become so much more important to this space than anyone here realizes. Right now we're mostly seeing decentralized lending and borrowing. The next step up will be financial instruments based on that. We're already seeing this with DAOS and decentralized bonds. If you're in this space because of an ideological battle you're fighting than you should probably stay away from defi. I can't imagine Bitcoin maximalists looking favourably in commoditizing debts. But if you're in this for money, defi should be the single most important thing in crypto to you. It dwarfs everything else in potential.

Well that didn’t answer a single question. Did you even take the time to read my post or did you read the title and then make skip to commenting? I’m genuinely asking questions here pal, use your eyes. Let me try again. 1. Is there long term potential in this project? 2. Do the DAOS in general have a long term potential? 3. Do you think it’s worth any investment?
