Why is Crypto.com censoring posts on the subreddit?

r/CryptoCurrencySee Post

Crypto.com have now rowed back on the revised CRO Reimbursement/Cashback - and agreed to waive the $50 card fee. It's still not enough IMHO.

Are you planning to keep the card benefits or unstake? At least you keep your Spotify and Netflix cashback as an ICY card holder.

Unless CDC have a mass exodus of customers they wont change anything.. (I'm still with CDC... only for the ICY tier rewards)

I invested in JADE and have a significant CRO position in defi. I too am disappointed but I still like aspects of the company. I was extremely bullish like you, adding CRO to build up my defi wallet and even planned to upgrade to ICY. After all of the slashing of rewards and earnings, I first decided to not upgrade my card and to stop adding to my defi CRO stake. As more cutbacks came, I decided to keep Jade but to cut my defi stake by 80%. With the most recent cuts of Spot and Net, I still have done nothing but may sell the remaining 20% of CRO in defi and I am debating on going from JADE to RUBY. My goal is to limit my CRO exposure as a percentage of my portfolio as I am no longer bullish, but neutral at this point. I may still keep JADE and some additional CRO at these relatively low prices but my days of being a big CRO bull are over...

I was balls deep into CDC, currently holding the Royal Indigo VISA and before the changes working my way up to ICY WHITE. Not any longer of course. I was using the earn program for a few coins like DOT, MATIC, ETH, TGBP and USDC. I was also doing DCA on CRO trying to reach a target of 50,000 CROs. I was using their DeFi wallet for staking CRO plus VVS Finance and MMF Finance for yield farming. I brought more than 20 people into CDC ecosystem mainly because of the cards. I was also using their NFT platform for a while to sell my NFTs me to flip them as well… As for today I removed all my coins from the Earn Program and the App. I have only left my card staking that is 5,000 CROs. I had 35,000 CROs and I sold 15,000. Now I have 20,000 on DeFi on staking for 12%. That’s it. I removed everything from VVS and MMF. I don’t buy any more CRO. I sold al my NFTs and I’m back using OpenSea. I don’t promote the platform any more. If someone ask I tell them to be careful. I think they might survive the Bear and I see CRO maybe between $1-$2 in the future like 5 years maybe more. The reason? I think all these platforms are going to fail and are not sustainable in the long run. I didn’t like the way they handled the communication with their customers. I’m not bullish any more in the whole ecosystem but I do think it can survive. I think 25,000 is a decent bag for me. I’m not gambling any more in CRO. At some point I was obsessed. I’m not any more. I took everyone out because I feel they can easily do a Blockfi, Celsius, Voyager, Anchor, 3AC. All these supposed solid platform are gone in a matter of weeks. Why CDC is different. I don’t feel they are different.

No. I don't trust them. But I will keep using the Royal Indigo card, mainly because it cost me only $400 to get it and not 4K. So the card with the actual rewards it will give me around £500 a year in rewards plus LoungeKey. That being said I will leave some coins on DeFi wallet mainly for the 12% and also to use in MMF. Also this VISA card is a way of cashing up some crypto fast and using that money for regular purchases. The CDC App is for newbies and people with not real understanding. There are way much better options to buy crypto. There are many other options giving great yield opportunities in stable coin and there are other crypto cards out there. Coinbase, Nexo, Plutus, CryptoCom. I understand you are hurt, I don't blame you. But this is a learning curve. We don't need to get attached to these platforms because they can change anything any other day. I don't know how long you have been with them, but do you remember what happened with MCO? They fucked big time to all the users just like that. So they did it already in the past. There will be platforms coming and going. I also think it is important to have multiple cards, multiple exchanges, multiple wallets, multiple yield platforms just to have options to mvoe your money around. I never really used CDC App to buy anything. I was mainly using the Earn Program, not any more. I was using the Exchange to buy CRO with USDT to upgrade to ICY, not any more. I don't buy any more CRO because for me there's no more ICY card, but for example I've already found a better card that can get me 5% cashback and 5 perks for a decent price and not 40K. Anyway. Good luck!

I am Royal Indigo tier. 3% cash back was good as I spend around £1000 in my card every month, also with the staking rewards I was getting almost 50 units every week. Now my cash back goes to 1.5% and my staking rewards to zero. So it doesn't make any sense to upgrade to ICY. I will just leave some CRO for 12% on DeFi. I will keep using Royal Indigo only for Spotify, Netflix and LoungeKey. The reason is I didn't pay for Royal Indigo. When I upgraded to Ruby Steel, £300 gave me 5,000 CRO units. After 5 months when the price went up to $0.97 I managed to re stake for Indigo. Now looking into other crypto cards. I already removed all my crypto from the App. I only have the staking for Indigo. In defi wallet I will keep some cro because even after all this shit i think the price could easily go up to $1 after the world cup or in the next bull run. I also like MMF but I'll be very cautious on that, specially on the LPs. MShare is going down badly.

I think it got out of hand, bear market lasting longer, it was not sustainable. They destroyed their platform, or they just want new customer, with no idea, spending £100 on some shit crypto. The cards were the pilars of this platform. Now they are gone. Can't imagine what an Obsidian Customer or an Icy customer is thinking right now. But you know what. Today I requested my NEXO card and my PLUTUS card. Already looking to that. I was buying CRO to upgrade to ICY. Not any more. I was only using CDC because of the card. They lost millions of customer just like that.

Post is by: HeavyCommission and the url/text [ ](https://goo.gl/GP6ppk)is: /r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ugerp1/did_cdc_rug_pull_or_will_it_recover_what_i_lost/ So I convince my wife to invest our $30k for a 'ICY white card' to start earning a passive stream of crypto. What better way to do it by spending money on groceries, right?! Now, 3 months later I get rug pulled in the sense my coins are locked for another 40 days and price of CRO tanked earlier today. Do you think CDC will do anything for it's customers to recover what we lost in terms of value. Will we have to sell our CRO at a loss and move on to an alternative? How is everyone else handling this, would love to hear opinion/suggestions of others? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I just got rug pulled by CDC. How to spend ETH now? So I convince my wife to invest our $30k for a ICY white card for some passive earning on our crypto spending. 3 months in and today we get the rug pulled underneath us. Do you think CDC will do anything for it's customers or will have to sell our CRO at a loss and move on to an alternative? Is Plutus any good? I heard 8%?

With the 2% in CRO part in their comment it looks like they are on the ICY tier of card where the flexible is 8% interest + 2% in CRO, for jade tier it's 8% flat.

Since 40k gets me the ICY card from Crypto.com, I'd do that. The remaining 10k (assuming it has to stay as CRO) I'd put in their DeFi wallet. Then sit back and let the passive income come in and hopefully retire in 5 years!

Ugh, just saying, the guy has 200k. Why would you suggest a 4K jade card when a 40k ICY white card gets him an extra 2% and 5% back.

You actually get a bonus 2% on earn if you stake for ICY and above, so depending on the currency you're staking, Earn could be better than DEFI.

I started with the binance card but having to stake 50bnb for tbe 4% cash back and only getting about 5% on average in the vault is not worth it compared to just staking BNB and getting 10-20%, I sold some bnb to get the jade card on cyrpto.com and I find it to be a far better deal with only having to lock up 4k(at the time). I hopefully should be able to upgrade to the ICY white card if CRO keeps pumping.
