I can probably add in a bit of additional info around the dev, chain, and some other bits as I guess I've been reasonably active in proximity. Pudgy Party is first and foremost a game-first effort, with added asset ownership. Effectively taking web2 gaming and adding some web3 rails that are largely abstracted away so that casuals and normies don't have that onboarding friction. Mythical Games are the game dev - see https:// mythicalgames.com They also do the official FIFA Rivals (which I play quite a lot), and NFL Rivals titles (which i played for a while, but am not American, so found it harder to acquire and keep up with in-depth player knowledge etc). So some big IP's in the mix. Mythical have a built-for-purpose gaming chain called Mythos - see https://mythos foundation - which runs on the MYTH token. The chain got built using a Polkadot tech stack. It's been set up as a platform play, to host multiple games from both them and 3rd party devs. MYTH token is on Mythos, Ethereum, Avalanche, and Base, but it's the native token that is used for marketplace (or staking, etc). So if you buy on Ethereum then you have to bridge, etc. Personally I just tend to buy DOT on CEX, send to Nova wallet, swap to MYTH in-wallet, and send to marketplace wallet. Fees for that are next to nothing. Marketplace is free to list/delist, but the sales fee feels steep. Most of my funding and spend experience with it has been related to FIFA Rivals, though tbh in due course there is a chance that I may sell a couple of players to buy some pudgy items. I'm lucky enough to have won one of the Power Pudgy skins mentioned (recent sales tracking around USD 1k) but tbh no real plan of selling - I still see it as just an in-game thing that's in my inventory. Hella good moves though 😅 The marketplace also has a Coinify option so you can just use ETH, BTC, whatever if you want. I understand PENGU is being added to the list. And it has the usual fiat options. I agree with u/gabester - the web marketplace https://mythical.market is sub-par in terms of info and user interface. It works, but I personally prefer to have more by way of analytics re bids and trends. In terms of in-game marketplace, I get that it makes more sense to keep the in-game version simple, but if I'm using web then I'd like more info. Elsewhere, NFL Rivals already has an in-game marketplace, and FIFA Rivals is just launching the first stage of it. Mythos was formerly on Ethereum, but switched for technical reasons - scaling, throughput, fees, control etc. I did hear/see a thing about why. Will add the link if/when I find/see it again. The token itself has had a bad run. I personally am guessing it's undervalued, but I guess we'll see in due course. It might be that there's still some more clearing out that needs to happen. I understand there was a big MEXC listing dump early on, and then trends exacerbated with bear market, gaming sector implosion and so forth. Tokenomics have been re-done earlier this year, so now all transaction fees are burned, etc etc. There are some indicative analytics here: https://mythos.foundation/analytics Scytale Digital wrote about the tokenomics pivot here: https://www.scytale.digital/blog-posts/the-platform-playbook-how-fifa-rivals-adidas-and-new-tokenomics-signal-a-re-rate-for-myth Related X profiles: @playpudgyparty is the game @playmythical is Mythical games @enterthemythos is Mythos Chain @johnwastaken is the CEO of Mythical - as I recall he started off as a CoD studio head @freaz7 is Mythical's head of web3, recently joined. He wrote a thing talking about why, and the state of web3 gaming generally, which is pretty insightful imho: https://x.com/freaz7/status/1961088061951164711?t=yzJJCSWzdprfFdaTO0kjZA&s=09

Hey Luca! With Pudgy Party being built on $MYTH and Polkadot, how does that integrate with the larger plans around PENGU and Abstract?

crap, i have so little litecoin, It would be terrible if this post becomes a MYTH and the BTC community just moves into LTC, and then it value explodes up, i'll be like "Oh man, i should have bought more before giving out ideas"... and then people would print these two posts and re-post 10 years later and be like: "Ohhh, poor guy"

I've been playing NFL Rivals for a month or two to get a feel on how things are likely (?) to be approached, and tbh I'm super looking forward to this one. Mythical take a game-first approach, so the crypto bit is abstracted away unless you go and look for it. NFL Rivals takes an approach where you are manager as well as player. The game itself is arcade style. Behind the scenes players are stored as NFTs which are tradable on the Mythical Marketplace - the web marketplace uses the MYTH token while the in-game marketplace has that hidden away. You start with base level players and play your way up. You retain your players on an ongoing basis and so the team strength builds over time. It seems to work pretty well. And for random fyi - the CEO is ex Activision / CoD. And there's an official Pudgy Penguins mobile game also launching soon ('summer') too. If anyone wants to check out some chain analytics for Mythos, there are some here: https://mythos.foundation/analytics

Polkadot has some good and solid technical stuff going on. And there have been some glimmerings recently of a stronger directional narrative emerging. Also some moves around eg reduced inflation etc (though it remains to be seen how those play out from a tokenomics perspective ). Equally some pretty interesting and credible additions of late such as Mythical Games (MYTH), and PEAQ (DePIN ecosystem) Unfortunately it can also be quite an insular and inwards-facing ecosystem and community, which I suspect might be innately limiting to some extent. I wonder if it's maybe displaying a variation on Conway's Law where comms of an entity reflect the structure - but either way, it's quite self-referential, and there is a language and awareness gap to the outside world. In turn, that makes for a steeper than expected learning curve for newcomers. I still hold DOT, and a few ecosystem tokens. They've all performed poorly compared to broader market over the last year. That said, I don't feel too concerned / expect some uptick at some point. I might feel more strongly if the ecosystem was my main bag, but (fortunately) it fell/falls into the category of 'interesting / let's see'.

If Satoshi were still on this earth, I doubt he would be accumulating any more. All arrows point to him leaving this space was him no longer wanting to be associated with it. It probably became a "too many eyes on me" Now for the whole 1m MYTH, there were something like 36 people on the email chain before Bitcoin was even launched. I have a strong feeling Satoshi never owned 1m coins. The most liberal calculations put him at around 900k BTC, but those don't take into account the fact that there were clearly people eyeing this project before it went live.

The only gaming I've got is IMX for gaming infra, and MYTH - Mythical Games, who seem to have a few things going for them. Gaming space always seems to be a punt though tbh, to me anyway.

Yeah NFL rivals rocks. I bought the first pack sale for $50 where you got 3 players in the pack and I bout 2 packs and pulled a legendary. I soled the legendary for $300 and instantly made $200 profit lol but that was just luck of the draw. If I had pulled a shitty pack I would have done poorly. Then I played the early events and it was super easy to place in the top 100 and I got the legendary TE Kittle! He also sold for $300 and I won him from plaing the game. These days I’m loving the collection offer function on the secondary market. Just yesterday I placed a 10 MYTH offer for any epic card and got one which flipped an hour later for 30lol This game is really making a lot of the right calls and I’m glad to play it since it’s actually fun. I have cashed out mostly and only keep a few rare and epics to play with these days but I actually realized my profits into cash and bought Diablo 4 with it and a new controller and the new Zelda game on my switch. It’s the nft dream. Gaming paying for my other games!! Really solid write up. Don’t forget to take profits. And do maybe mention that selling your collection will make it much harder for you to qualify for future rewards in game. I have a very hard time mailing it to top 100 or top 150 these days but top 300 events I still can place even after having pulled out and realizing about 3x my principal. Remember though I did get lucky on my pack and pulled a legendary where I could have pulled trash
