I've found that fiat withdrawal fees for SEPA transactions are actually lower than 1 euro at Kraken.
Over the last year Binance went from HOT to NOT. They have by far the best overall package but the fact that they lost SEPA Instant makes them barely usable for me. Luckily i'm using multiple exchanges so i'm fine.
Having a look at the link below, they have SEPA for EUR and instant bank transfers for “Many” in USD as well. That would seem to cover the vast majority of people in the crypto space. https://help.ftx.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042050452-Depositing-Withdrawing-Fiat-
It is really annoying that every time I saw a dip, send money to exchanges, only to find out later the price already bounced back before my SEPA transaction arrived
You can buy bitcoin with SEPA on [Guarda Wallet.](https://guarda.com/?utm_source=REDDIT&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=_Sam_Steel) — a non-custodial crypto wallet which offers users full control over their private keys. if you intend to hold your coins long term then you will need a secure wallet for doing so. I'd recommend Guarda cause it offers complete security, effortless crypto storing and easy asset management. Since the company respects your anonymity, they do not store your backup files, private keys, or any other data that could threaten your security. ✅
There are crypto exchanges using paypal? Isn't this terrible because of their ~2% fee? I used 4-5 exchanges recently and I don't remember having a paypal option at any - and I also don't know why. In europe I can fund everything from my bank account, some even support instant SEPA.
I love SEPA, use it here in EURO all the time
Post is by: china_visa_q_123 and the url/text [ ](https://goo.gl/GP6ppk)is: /r/CryptoCurrency/comments/u21gmz/transak_metamask_partner_sepa_deposits_are_very/ Just wanted to put it out there. Always within a couple hours even though I'm not in the UK where their bank account is located. Metamask is hella expensive (think 20 USD fees per 1000 + the same again if you buy USDC and swap for something else) but I like diversification. Nexo is very slow. (often takes 3 working days even if I use the instant SEPA function with my bank that costs additional money) Crypto.com not always same day and unfortunately also high fees. I haven't deposited to Binance since transfers were reinstated but they were also in the middle. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/CryptoCurrency) if you have any questions or concerns.*
With SEPA being available again I just made my first deposit not using a card payment. Lower fees? Yes thank you. Hopefully more frugal spending on my part as well and less FOMO. Now I'll (try to) allocate a set sum and keep the surplus for that sweet rent (Lol, not going to happen, wen surplus). Hopefully I will end up in controll instead of my slight addiction.
Idk how other platforms work but on crypto.com I just recharge my card with fiat through SEPA or with another visa. There is no "crypto to cash" or am I missing something ? Same when I get my cashback in CRO, it stays in CRO.
>I told them that i met up with my friend irl and bought btc from him using cash. I always use him for buying btc because my cards aren’t compatible with bitcoin purchase sites. What does it mean that your cards are not compatible? You don't have any visa/mastercard card? You could not send money via a bank transfer? "Wire" it if you're American or use a SEPA transfer if you're in Europe? I mean, it's a bit sus...
Assuming you are wanting to buy in fiat I would check out what payment methods are most popular for your chosen currency. For example: EUR = SEPA US = Zelle UK = Faster Payments Once you settle on payment method make a few large offers to buy BTC. You will need a 15% deposit to use for the security deposit. So multiple offers to buyer 1 BTC would require having at least 0.15 BTC.
>This announcement seems to be US only I don't think so. Shopify, NCR and Blackhawk are global payment providers, and they have online and offline customers around the world, not only in the US. Also, I don't see anything that states the integrations would only be limited to the US. Even assuming all of this is limited to the US, Strike's competition would consist of US interbank systems and VISA/Mastercard/AMEX/etc. If interbank systems truly were superior and could handle merchant transactions with fees of only a few cents, they would have completely demolished VISA/Mastercard/AMEX/etc. already. But that is obviously not the case, since a) these payment providers still exist on a national level and have a significant market share, and b) even the cheapest PIN debit network fees covered under the Durbin amendment are .05% + $0.21/$0.22 per transaction. And this is the minimum amount; if you use a credit card or pay via signature debit, your payment gets processed through VISA/Mastercard/AMEX/etc. -> higher merchant fees. So as you can imagine, the average merchant fees are much higher than the minimum amount. Why these fees are so high, I couldn't tell you, but if there was a market incentive to minimize the fees, it would have already happened. Smells like the power of a monopoly, but I'm no expert. >Plus, how do people get fiat into strike? I have never used Strike, so I'm not familiar with how the app works. Also, I don't live in the US, but I would assume they have a system like the European SEPA, which would mean no bankwire fees anyways.
Sometimes it's the bank. Mine's anti crypto and rejects all SEPA transfers to cdc ☹️
Hi everybody, today I spent the whole morning talking with the Binance customare support asking why I couldn't make a SEPA transfer to my bank account, tourned out they decided to restrict my account out of the blue even though I did my KYC over a year ago...the only reason I was able to get from them is related to their "internal assesment" and "geographical restriction"... I'm from europe.... any idea?
They have to send it to am exchange, then you hope its Ukranian or atleast an SEPA account and it still takes 3 days. If they could send the eth as a direct means to buy product it would really help.
Depends where you are, but if you're in the UK by some chance, get yourself a Revolut account. Transfer from Bank > Revolut > Convert to Euro > Send to Coinbase via (free) SEPA transfer and hey presto, you're in. I can go from my Bank to BTC in under 2 mins
There are tons of fintechs and banks offering free instant SEPA transfers. I never had a single problem with them, works like a charm. No fees.
Weird SEPA doens't appears to you. I have that option.
Not sure where in the EU you are, but you might want to look at the market place of [bitcoin.de](https://bitcoin.de) as a SEPA EUR on and off ramp .
You’re losing money. Binance resumed SEPA in march. For now is cheaper to send there directly (until they block SEPA again, hope not)
You can use SEPA. Wallets, then funding, then deposit. Chose currency, SEPA will be shown.
SEPA are currently available on binance. With a 1€ deposit fee and a 2€ withdrawal fee
This!! Have him send you stable coins, usually the fee isnt very high, mby $0.5-3 per transaction. Then you trade them for USD (will have to pay a small trading fee 0.1-0.5%). On a $1000 transaction you should be able to get out $990-999 depending on who pays for the transaction, the trading fee of the exchange, and any potential withdrawal fees. I use Kraken mostly, fee on exchange is 0.22% if im not mistaken, doing a SEPA withdrawal is 1 euro after that.
I believe this only applies if you top up via a VISA/Mastercard transaction. SEPA transfers to your account should not incur significant fees. This may be different in your country, however.
Does anyone know if there are delays In Binance SEPA withdrawals? (Euro) Last time I withdrew money it arrived in my account in 2 minutes, almost instantly. This was 2 months ago Now I withdrew some money and it's been 18 hours and it hasn't arrived yet. But Binance says the withdrawal of my Euro is successful. I'm freaked out
On binance is 2$ if you withdraw via SEPA. 1% if you want it on the card
SEPA and ACH are types of money transfers from banks
Bruh what? I SEPA transfer my money to crypto.com that's what I'm talking about
Must be because there's 0 fees for deposits on all major exchanges Via SEPA and ACH
The USA are not part of the SEPA system, so you can't even use it to transfer USD. And you call my arguments bullshit? Thats not nice sir. Payments between banks are fast if the banks trust each other (to stay solvent for instance). That is what makes bank transfers to developing countries extremely costly and slow, because trust is so low. How do you fix that? Maybe with a payment system that doesn't need banks because it doesn't send a claim on payment in cash (that is as trustworthy as the institution sending it) but actual (digital) cash. Yes, Bitcoin is still unstable, but it's mostly upwards unstable :)
Transfers have been free and instant in the UK and most or all of europe for probably 15 years now. I actually just looked and SEPA was implemented in 2008-2010 so my guess was not far off! Since I've been an adult in the uk from 1997 I've never paid for a UK transfer (personal accounts, businesses do), althoguh they did take 3 working days back then. Instant transfers would have come in around 2008 I guess although I can't remmeber if the UK system predated the european system, I'm assuming they are the same thing. It's just been that long since I had to wait for a transfer to happen I really can't remember. It's never been an argument for europeans, only for americans stuck in a legacy banking system.
Instant SEPA is only available for a handful of smaller banks for my country. Took 4 days for slow SEPA to arrive. I switched to Revolut. Money almost arrived instantly.
Binance is another disappointing story. When they disabled SEPA,i was instantly moving everything Out.

I use Guarda wallet and we can buy Bitcoin and other assets with credit card or SEPA transfer. It's a non-custodial wallet so no one can control/freeze/ban your account because you own your private keys. Check their website guarda.com/buy-bitcoin for further info :)
tldr; Fintech company Nuvei has partnered with Ledger to provide a direct crypto on-ramp for millions of users. The integration will eliminate the need for external exchanges and fiat-to-crypto payment gateways by maximizing security. Ledger Live users will be able to purchase cryptocurrencies through Visa, Mastercard, SEPA, SWIFT. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. is SEPA support up again? Is withdrawal fee still 0,9€ or higher now? I haven't used Binance for a while
Don't they offer Russian payment methods? It would be stupid to rely on foreign payment systems. I always use SEPA, since I live in Europe. I would have guessed that Russia has a comparable system.
They have a bank account in Germany where I sent them straight euros. You don’t have to use the card option which also comes with fees. My bank doesn’t charge me for SEPA transfers. Sepa transfers can be instant also if both banks support it. For me personally, fiat was easier.
SEPA has instant payments of any sum now (given your bank supports it). Costs 49c, transaction is final after a few seconds.
I'm using kraken for some time now, and I like it. It's cheaper than coinbase pro, and you can use SEPA.
Have been using Kraken for half a year, never had a problem. Love that they support SEPA transfer to my country without hassle. Pretty low trading fees too. I have only good things to say about Kraken.
I take it ACH is our SEPA? How long does it take?
FTX has some limits on withdrawals (have to be up to certain amount) but SEPA transfers work great everywhere. Coinbase has the added benefit of free stablecoin conversions for maker orders.
At this point fee structure for the top 5 exchanges is about bussiness model and whom they are targeting (they are all extremely successful). In EU you get next day free SEPA transfers or instant with an added charge of 0.99 for buying those dips. 25$ is a lot, are there free options in other exchanges for the US?
Whats better than FTX? I can deposit there with SEPA in under 5 minutes
It also has higher than average fees and the user interface is prehistoric (both basic and advanced). Overall, I love Kraken. It's remarkably good for withdrawing fiat via SEPA transfer, with almost non-existent fees and fast process time.
Seriously, is wire transfer so expensive in the US? I'm in Europe and SEPA transfers are free everywhere, only instant SEPA can cost a 1-5€, but for example it's free on Revolut. The USA financial system really sucks if that's the standard.
I’ve been mostly find using Binance (as a european). However, their SEPA was down for about 6 months, where I was happy I had KYC done on Coinbase as well to use as fiat on/off ramp. Moral of the story: Whichever you end up picking, set up another account on another exchange as well for redundancy, just in case.
In most europan countries it is 1 work day for SEPA transfers. Which is often too long to react fast on a changing market situation. So i always keep some money in stable coins ready to buy if i want while gaining some interest.
tldr; Binance has announced the launch of Bifinity, a provider of payments in fiat and digital currencies. The new platform reportedly supports more than 50+ crypto assets, payment methods and systems such as VISA and Mastercard. Binance is also resuming payments in Euros and GBP via SEPA and Faster Payments systems. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Someone from EU tried the new SEPA transfer option from Binance? Not sure if it’s feeless or needs additional software just like the old method.
SEPA is easy and fast to use. This will bring a lot more investment to binance.
Anyone deposit EUR by SEPA to binance ? How long until it was available on the platform ?
Top, I use bitpanda, work well with SEPA
SEPA over here usually involves control of hazardous substances/waste so SEPA transfers don't sound too nice
Binance announce SEPA being reintroduced.
tldr; Binance has fully resumed bank transfers for account holders in Europe, eight months after suspending the service following pressure from regulators. Binance’s European users now have access to both euro and British pound deposits and withdrawals via the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) and Faster Payment Services (FPS) rails. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. I think it's only a few ones. For Germany it wasn't available for a half year or so, but it does work again since somewhen around January. Currently it only says this in their homepage: SEPA does not support Fire (Ireland), Monzo (UK), Revolut (UK), and Transferwise (UK).
Buying now and selling in years after war is good plan. A lot of Russians can't buy because they can't use Visa and Master cards. I too do not use SEPA and I am paying all with card so if my country would be stripped of cards I would need to go to bank to arrange SEPA just to buy something online. And then there is a lot of paper hands here running away with FIAT, I am 40 percent down in portfolio worth, but I am still buying. If I lose it will not affect me a lot since crypto is still cheap, but if I gain in another 10x in next 5 years it will be decent amount of money.
If you are in a country which is outside of EU you don't have an option of SEPA transfer which is feeless only transfer to your card and in that case there is always a fee.
Can someone please explain how the Russians are supposed to buy crypto without SEPA, Visa, MasterCard... Wtf are we even talking about at this point? Is there a way to shove dollars, euros or rubles in the back of the pc or something I'm missing???
Kraken is the best in Europe. It supports SEPA transfer to local banks with lower fee compared to Coinbase, Crypto.com
Celsius uses Gem that works with SEPA BitPanda also uses SEPA
Coinbase pro has a fee of 0,15€ to withdraw SEPA but the fees to convert usdt to euro are not the best :/ Also, anyone knows when Binance will resume SEPA transfers?
Kraken has pretty good SEPA support, even though I have never withdrawn - but the fee was pretty low the last time I checked (depending on the bank / country you withdraw from in europe)
As a SEPA user Kraken turned out to be the best exchange for me - I tried them all basically. But I hear from time to time it has some issue for US customers, don't know the details.
I use N26 only for quick transfer Sparkasse:SEPA instant -> N26:Sepa instant -> Exchange Unfortunately I'm always in a hurry when I buy Bitcoin since Bitcoin can be volatile and good dips often won't last too long. If they freeze my account during this transaction then they'll only lock money for one transaction (I will split higher amounts anyway in 2 transactions). The balance will be usually near 0 EUR at any other time so the risk is acceptable for me.
If you had enough space, perhaps you could include an 'e.g.'. Enter your prefered fiat payment methods (e.g. Bank Transfer, SEPA, PayPal, etc)
You can avoid the 400 Euro limit using Bisq with SEPA and SEPA Instant. Bisq is peer to peer so you are not sending funds to an exchange you are sending to another user. That being said OP should look for a new bank that does not tell them how they can and cannot spend their funds.
Yes, but they all support it. I used it last year without any limits with Coinbase and Kraken multiple times. The accounts are still the same and they still accept SEPA instant. It's my shitty bank that limits transfers with SEPA instant to 400 EUR not them.
Ok, I see, but N26 offers SEPA instant. Do they block Kraken? SEPA instant is crucial for me since crypto is so volatile that 1-2 days can make a huge difference.
Have you sent money internationally outside of a pre-established zone like SEPA? Have you sent money internationally to/from a developing country or war zone?
And if you’re in Ukraine and savvy enough to have an FTX account, do you not think you’d also have a euro bank account? SEPA transfers are free.
In France we already have banks with free instant SEPA transfers, it's a shame that most other eu countries don't already support this ...
you can circumvent that by adding funds using SEPA if you're in europe, there's no fee and funds arrive fairly quick (under 1 hour using revolut)
I live in Europe and we don't pay any fees with SEPA transfers. These fees are completely unnecessary and only exist because of greedy bankers. Transfers could also be instantaneous but aren't due to the same reason ...
Amen bro. I live in Europe and SEPA which enables free bank transfers in Europe was born only 8 years ago. Instant sepa transfers that don't take days to complete are still not very widespread and guess what : for some reason, the system pauses on weekends like there's a guy somewhere who has to manually accept your transfer who doesn't work on weekends. It's a fucking joke, they're not using the possibilities technology provides us and are 10-20 years behind new developments. We could've had instant worldwide bank transfers for at least the last 10 years but no, somehow making people's lives easier isn't a priority and that's why things like paypal, cashapp and crypto have been developed and have been rapidly gaining popularity ...

I know its unpopular but its easy for govs to shut down anything they want. Not our own wallets, i think so. Maybe Microsoft can decide to block any cryptorelated stuff in Windows, maybe. But its easier. Just cut the fiat-interface at exchangers. We have crypto but cant use them, because we cant change it in fiat. In germany we cant use SEPA-Transactions to transfer Fiat to exchanges. KYC must implemented first to meet special german laws. Many exchanges dont accepted german users because of that. Meanwhile there is an govs proposal that every wallet is forbidden, only state-licensed wallet-providers are allowed. In fact of that the exchanges are not allowed to transfer funds to other wallets. We have to verify our wallets, veryfi adresses, verify that our funds on that wallet and dont leave them. Otherwise you cant trensfer new funds to the wallet. Dont know when its forged in law but its near. I think so. When it happens then we are screwed. Some platforms already runs this, Austrian Bitpanda for example. You can register there, made KYC...but when you transfer only 1 Euro they want to know everything of your life. Really everything. And the result of the last colonoscopy too... And when you manage all that things then youre happy. Youre allowed to buy crpto there. Oh wait...if you want to sell that crypto there you have to verify where are the crypto from... Well... You have to verify the former owners of the crypto, because they are not from the exchange, they are from other cryptousers. VERIFY THEM! Its impossible. Many many users accounts there are frozen. And never get access back. Believe me. Thats the way govs will do it.
First of all, you can alleviate the problem by triangulating over a (Fintech) account in another EU country. Say that A is your Belgian account and B is the account of the cryptocurrency exchange, then instead of wiring directly: A <--> B You can triangulate over the (Fintech) account C: A <--> C <--> B Good examples of Fintech accounts are companies like Bankera. Still, even when triangulating, it is bad practice to wire to or from a bank account that belongs to a cryptocurrency exchange. The better solution is to wire to/from bank accounts that belong to counterparts on a peer-to-peer market, attached to an exchange such as Binance, Okex, or Kucoin. Example: BTC --Binance--> USDT --transferwise--> EUR --transferwise--> A Explanation: - You sell your BTC at Binance for USDT - You use the Binance p2p market to sell your USDT for EUR deposited on your transferwise account - You wire from your transferwise account to your Belgian account The whole process takes on average probably less than 10 minutes. Since a Fintech such as transferwise can reach every SEPA bank account directly, you can even skip the last part, and pay any beneficiary directly out of your transferwise or other Fintech account. The reality is that you do not even need your Belgian bank account. Why even involve it in the spending of cryptocurrency profits?
Those are not excuses. The app works, the website works, the support works, there are tons of pairs, the withdrawals work, basically everything has worked out for me pretty well. The only thing that has kept me from using it more now was the SEPA transfers that do not work anymore. That's the only reason I started using other exchanges more. Regarding my wealth, i do not store my coins on any exchanges, that's what my Ledger Nano X is for. Binance is for trading, in and out ASAP just like any other exchange. Promotions, every now and then and BNB is literally the only thing that's constantly on Binance because if Binance goes down BNB goes with it so it doesn't really matter where it is stored. I also use Launchpads and Binance Card so I actually need it there. Regarding the promo, if it's not the same then I am not aware of what happened nor did I participate in it. However they are usually pretty straight forward on their rules. They also fuck up of course and i know they are somewhat shady but I have no reason to complain and i am not afraid of using it because I do not store there anything, except BNB like I said above. I have gotten more of Binance than what they will ever get of me, so yes, I will keep using it until I feel it's not safe anymore or it is not working as it should.
So when will SEPA work for Europe again? This is good news though, it measn they are working on it.
And mine still blocks every SEPA transfer to CDC. I'll remember when it’s time to take out a mortgage ...
The exchanges do charge when converting fiat to usdt, Binance and Coinbase included. SEPA is just a free method to transfer fiat to the exchange. I havent used [tether.to](https://tether.to), but those minimum amounts seem pretty high. Does Binance do P2P that would be cheaper or more trustworthy?
Because they have to. The EU has stated that if Russia starts a war they will impose sanctions, one of which will be banning them from the international money transfer system SEPA. This means that Russia won't be able to cheaply and easily transfer money internationally or even nationally. So they need an alternative and they need it fast. And it looks like they're banking on Crypto being that alternative.
Because USA threatened to stop SEPA and SWIFT transactions to Russia, Bitcoin solves this.
Within the EU you can do a SEPA transfer up to 1 billion euro, for less than 3€
