I know you suffered a pretty substantial loss, but Ii’s never too late to prevent it from happening again. Lookup LoopringWallet and set it up. It’s a decentralized, self-custodial wallet on Eth L2 and they literally go by the motto of “be your own bank.” You can go to their website and read their white papers and TOC and all that to see what the project is about. They also allow ways to earn and trade within the wallet. Fees can sometimes be up there to get funds in, but it’s better to pay to keep your portfolio safe than to be cheap to retain more on a risky platform.

Hmmm I’ve used coinbase for quite a while now to buy crypto and ship it out but I haven’t received any changes or anything with their TOC , that’s strange I’d still just be careful and weary of exposing your credentials or making your self vulnerable but it could be on your locality too for me being in the America’s we had updates about the staking a week or two ago but that’s about it

tldr; Stacks (STX) is breaking out from an ascending parallel channel. The crypto market cap (TOTALCAP) is in the process of creating a bullish engulfing candlestick. Bitcoin (BTC) and the Total Crypto Market Cap (TOC) are also creating bullish candlesticks. The Bitcoin price is close to convergence between support and resistance. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR. As they should. Having a 3rd party be a custodian of your users funds is dumb. That said, users are also presented with a TOC and agreed to the risk of EARN.

To be fair, Gemini had a good TOC outline that their lender partner was Genesis and the funds would go to them. You agreed to the TOC. While I am sorry this is happening to you, it's critical we understand what we sign up for. That said, as you also pointed out, next time is best to be your own wallet.

In the newest TOC, yes. And that's what the judge conceded. However, there's still a ton of things that the court is looking into that can change what that means in regard to customers, and returns. As they still don't have any go ahead to sell until these contesttions, i.e.: the verbal toc break in AMAs by Mashinsky, The sleeper updates to TOC that fundamentally changed the risk profile (doing security things with unaccredited investors), and and still looming Ponzi possibility (among a few others), things can change from this preliminary statement by the judge. I know a lot of Celsius customers, like myself, are likely Doom scrolling so I wanted to offer some perspective amidst what feels like a ton of fear porn. Aaron Bennett on YouTube recently put [this] (https://youtu.be/7L6OIeMrTcI) up, hope this is helpful.

OP needs to calm down. It’s like a run on sentence after run on sentence. What are the TOC of the bank? Can you list the fees chart? This sounds like a big complain post with no substance.

Wells Fargo was harming users by arbitrarily raising platform fees to boost their revenue. Got caught and has to fork out 3.7B in fees and restitutions. FTX took their customers money against their TOC and then frivolously gambled those 12b with no way of customers recouping much. Not defending Wells at all but SBF's billion dollar fraud is on another level itself. Considering how so many people lost their life savings thanks to him

WF gambled $12B of customer funds despite TOC saying it wouldn't. FTX gambled $8B of customer funds despite TOC saying it wouldn't So where's the distinction?

One was affecting customers by bringing up phantom fees to prop up their revenue. Got caught and is paying $3.7B in fees. The other, took their customers money despite TOC saying it wouldn't and gambled those $12B with no way of having clients recouping much, if anything. Not defending Wells at all, but what FTX did was way worse.

You do not specifically need a cold wallet, but it is always safer. You could start with a mobile wallet if you trust yourself enough with that. It should however be a non-custodial wallet. You can also set up a wallet on a old laptop or raspberry pi. A cold wallet is the preferred bitcoiner way of storing funds over a longer time. Once you get to 1btc or more I would recommend multi-sig setup, but you have time to get acquainted with that as you accumulate more satishos. Just remember, don't rush it. Make sure you understand what you are doing and the consequences of it. Nothing comes without a tradeoff. Currently setup you have is convenient with nice UX, however, the tradeoff is your Bitcoin is not yours. As long as they are in Robinhood, they belong to Robinhood. If they disappear or decides to change their TOC. You may loose access to them. Stay safe, stack Sats and make sure you remember the phrase "Not your keys, not your coins"

Did you read the TOC. Some of them actually wrote in their TOC, on case of bankruptcy the coins would be theirs. Not your keys, not your coins. I know this does not help you now, but this is important that you understand it. People chasing yield with Bitcoin is insane. Fiat is mad efor forcing people to chase yield, however, Bitcoin is made for saving and no yield is needed. Greed got you my friend. Start over and try not to get swayed into gambling your Bitcoin for a tiny amount of yield

How does it make it stronger? If I ran my own node what power do I have to stop a 51% attack? What knowledge do I have to accept changes? I fear it will become like apple updates where no one reads the TOC.

Their terms of use shouldn’t matter, right? The order was filled. Therefore, he bought XRP from a willing seller at the price the seller was happy to sell. Hence, he bought XRP at its current value during that exact moment in time. An exchange does not set market prices, the market does. I think OP has the right to claim his XRP. Under their TOC they could have blocked the order from going through but once it’s done, what legal right do they have to reverse it?

That literally says "To acquire digits through Ubisoft Quartz". I'm talking about acquiring the nft's on marketplaces like rarible/objkt etc. Ubisoft can't stop someone from sending an NFT to another wallet. They CAN not recognize it on ubisoft quartz if you don't adhere to their TOC and are within the countries they operate in, but it can still be sent to any tezos wallet regardless of restrictions they have because its an actual NFT, not a digital item in a database.

Yeah, I thought about this as well, but what if Binance TOC says that it's actually you that converts to FIAT (not them) and they tare just offering a very convenient way of doing so via the physical card. I'm saying this because you get all these transactions on the Binance account (under cards), so it's clear they keep track of all these.

If anyone hasn't joined yet, I used the code "Freebitcoin" 2 weeks ago and it still worked and I got free BTC My personal analysis thoughts on the app so far after using different Interest earning apps: **PROS** \- User interface: Clean and easy to use UI (I like how it's darker and gives a Robinhood vibe to it; I also appreciate their alerts **- APY:** The interest they payout is consistent AT 8% \- They also pay out hourly instead of monthly like block fi which allows your crypto to compound more often **- COINS:** They offer a lot more coins than the other apps I've used like celsius and block fi (The ones I started staking are chainlink, doge, Solana, and Matic) **- FEATURES** \- Have an NFT Market \- Crypto News/Alerts/Signals **- CREDIBILITY/SECURITY:** \- Sam Bankman-Fried the guy who owns FTX is pretty highly regarded and not new within the blockchain community. \- have a lot of institutional financial backing like SEQUOIA CAPITAL and they are partnering with some large companies like Major League Baseball who I'm sure have done their due diligence to make sure they are legit. Also backed by Stephen Curry and Tom Brady and I don't think they would back a sus app. The hundreds of millions invested in these endorsement and sponsorship deals create even more incentive for FTX to be reliable and trustworthy \- Also, Claim on their site that " Your principle is backed by their funds and equity according to FTX Earn TOC. FTX US and International have the same policy." \- They also offer two-factor authentication **CONS** I feel like the way they show you how much interest you've earned for each coin separately could be a bit clearer After you receive your first $10,000 in interest earned it drops down to 5% (which is still a lot better than what block fi offers) 0.50 cent charge on any deposit 0.50 cent charge on any deposit and will update the post if I find any.

>I don't think anyone evolved in the original ETH had any idea of what it would become, highlighted by the fact the main three have all gone to build wildly different projects Doesn't this account for all tech innovations since the 80's? I'm sure INTEL had no idea what computers would become, nor could Gates have envisioned Windows in it's current itteration. I'm positive Tim Berners-Lee had no idea what he let out of the bag at the time. Silicon Valley and all it's tech was built on the fact that projects and people branched out into wildly different projects. While you can argue some survived and some didn't, the observation of the occurence now is by no means a worthwhile prediction of the outcome. TL:DR; we all have no clue where this is heading, a wall of text with a TOC doesn't make it's predictions more valueable.

As TagTeam said, you do not need need to do anything to receive the rewards except meet the minimum balance. Note that the percentages are annual so $1000 at 10% would yield $1000 x 10% / 12). Also worth noting the TOC state that the money on deposit (unless you opt out of crypto earn) is for Voyager to do as they please with, including investments which earn them higher rates then they pay (or they hope to). There is **some level of risk** that if Voyager's investment(s) fall through, they could be unable to pay back their customers, and you would become a creditor to an insolvent company (your money is gone). That said, I believe the risk to be low, especially given their ability to stay afloat in the last few months of selloffs. I have some Crypto and stablecoins on their app for the interest, just don't put your whole life savings out there. **Your deposits are not FDIC insured** as they would be in a (US) bank.

Sure, and from a moral standpoint it would still be wrong. Posing hypothetical questions is all about finding the hidden catches. Theres no way you could hypothetically only scam scammers, since what constitutes a scammer? Is a company that takes your money with one sided TOC that end up fucking you over technically scammers? Maybe. Is a company that honestly does their best but still ends up losing you money while benefitting themselves a scam? Might feel like it. Is one guy who maybe takes advantage of someones naivete to legally profit a scammer?
