Well if you think this can't happen in the WEST think of Canada earlier this year with the truck convoy and how quickly they were able to find and shutdown peoples accounts. For god sake they locked out a single mom who donated 20$ to the convoy, she couldn't even feed her little girl! From cryptography to cryptocurrency, i had few knowledge but it was fascinating how few people fought for secure internet and wanted to make a currency that was not controlled by government i.e. powerful people. But with how musk's few words manipulated dogecoin price it all became bullshit. And there came pump and dump scammers and then nft's. Yeah there were previous scams from wallets to onecoin but the recent pump and dump and how easily crypto can be manipulated have made people believe crypto is never gonna replace fiat unless it is backed by powerful government (especially the US and WEST) and controlled by it.
