If you want a coin that can be mined on mobile/lower-end CPUs, check out Scala (XLA). It's a privacy coin that has a very active community on Telegram and Discord. Dev team is active and still making progress in this bear market and are about to release their V8 protocol upgrade soon.
There's a privacy coin called Scala (XLA) which uses an algorithm, panthera, made to mine on ARM processors nearly as effectively as desktop CPUs. It's been around for a few years, has an active community, and their V8 upgrade (Menger) is nearly ready to deploy. While most mobile miners are scams, not all of them are.

wow the energy that is going into these fud articles. They really want us to sell and stop purchasing anymore. Here is the thing all "Money" is controlled by these dipshits. There is no difference between USD, EURO, BTC, XLM. They were all invented by the same assholes. My face isn't on the $100 bill so I could careless about it which ones I hold. I was forced to use fiat (cash) and brain washed to see it as having value from my birth, but it was all an illusion. Even the Value of Gold is an illusion. The only thing that has true value is your life and the land under your feet unfortunately it's artificial controlled by these colonists as usual. Cryptos like BTC, XLM, KDA, XLA, XMR, CPH, Algorand, RDN, flux, Velo, Iota, Dav, XPR so god damn many are technologically superior to USD and are being used as we speak, by the same government and institutions that pretend they are against it's existence. At the end of the day your just trading old magic beans for new magic beans. Tune out from the fud and wait for these "special" greedy people to get tired of yelling in the dark. Stay "cool" out there in these pathetic times.

I'm fed up by people who don't know, yet scream "shill" If you say "shill", might as well prove it. Secondly, fractions can be seen as multipliers of coins, basically and if we consider that both XMR and XLA have 12 decimals, but XMR has 18.3 mil circulating supply + Tail-Emission of 0.6 XMR, XLA has 14 bil circulating supply (21bil total) and Tail-Emission of 999, so yeah, in a way, XMR accessibility is 1,000 times more limited and hence massive price. You can have 2.1e19 fractions of XMR, you can have 2.1e22 fractions of XLA, hence accessibility part is true too believe it or not
It's not the BHD I'm worried about, it's the people. Kinda sucks to see them in that situation. I tried to help them as much as I could by buying off of whales when they dropped price and HODLing. Other than that, my portfolio consists of LTC, XLA, BTC, USDT and BNB
I believe, generally privacy coins are the future of crypto. This bear market allows people to look around and search more. If I were to name a perfect crypto, I'd choose Scala (XLA) because 100% privacy, untrackable transactions, supports mobile mining even and best thing I've observed is, Devs have had hard time with coin couple times, but unlike Kwon abandoning Luna, Scala Devs actually worked losing their own money and saved coin. Loyal Devs is a major thing a community can have
Scala XLA, a privacy coin. Some may call it dumb & thats ok. I will make people mad if it succeeds & I mined 100k coins with old phones.
Scala (XLA) does mobile mining. It's a privacy coin (Monero fork) with a hashing algorithm designed to be efficient on laptops and mobile devices. I like the project and the devs are fairly active, but it's very low market cap and almost no one seems to no about it as neither the team nor the community do any marketing for it.
A few other proof of work projects I know of that develop their algorithms with ASIC resistance in mind are Ergo (Autolykos2), Haven (CryptoNight-Haven), and Scala \[XLA\] (Panthera).
I'm using a ( no longer used phone) to mine XLA. it more or less making money for me. Not much, but it free. 🤣🤣🤣
welcome aboard, been mining xla for awhile as a hobby. Once I got comfortable mining xla, I took a look at the FLUX was able to grab a block 1st day. XLA and FLUX were my only 2 coins where I grabbed a block on the 1st try.
Correct. TradeOgre has a LTC/XLA pair. There is activity none the less. Take into consideration that XLA is only worth ~$.00033. That's about 18,000,000 coins while a block rewards 3,750 (120 seconds iirc).

XLA, TRTL and ARRR. I first read about XLA when I was looking for a coin to mine with a phone. TRTL and ARRR I found on tradeogre, the exchange where I buy XLA and other microcaps. I think privacy coins have an exciting long term future.

Do it when it's cool, put them on a stand, and use old phones (that you are done using for normal things) with it then. That's what most people do with Scala XLA.

I'm most interested in the ideology and future of decentralized systems and governance. While I'm not wealthy, I am quite content with my current quality of life so while getting more fiat and/or future wealth is a motivator it is not my primary interest in crypto and decentralized projects. Currently, most projects still have a ways to go before widespread usability and adoption. But some of the more hands on things I've tried so far: * Video streaming and YouTube alternatives, where creator monetization happens via crypto distributions. (Theta, aioz, cos.tv, etc) * Video game NFTs, and some sports collectibles. True ownership of digital goods provable by the blockchains the tokens reside on. Even if the company servers disappear, I still will always own the token on the blockchain. * Short term file sharing storage using the IPFS protocol. Scala XLA privacy coin recently implemented a functioning version of this. * Accrual of crypto rewards for providing some service or action. Basically things like Brave browser, or participating in reddits community points experiment here (moons), or securing networks (mining) or providing distribution nodes * DEX transactions and international money transfers. Some of these systems have much less fees and are so much faster compared to wire transfers or other centralized bank services.

XLA Scala is a shitcoin but you can easily mine it on any of your devices like PC, Laptop, phones. Atm with around 3000 H/s i mine like 50 cents per day. If you have a decent CPU you can easily make double that. Just in case this token ever sees the light of the day but even if not the price gouges with BTC. It's really easy to set up, everything including the miner is available on the official website.

Threw some BTC on XLA and CCX, weird things can happen in crypto. Remember buying loads of XVG few years back and then John Fckn Mcfee gets on twitter all drugged up and makes me money. You never know.

Yes thank you I made a typo I actually tried to mean that it’s minable on a CPU, I’ve been mining for a few days now and so far so good, also joined their Telegram group and people there seem to have a lot of confidence in this coin, also the Developers answer questions and help anybody that needs help, I’ll hodl this one for a Year or 2 and maybe buy some on TradeOgre (they are working on adding this to bigger exchanges ) Also learnt that XLA has actual functionality and its not a meme coin, I see the potential on a long term hold, the community is still small but very communicative if you want to join their Telegram Thanks

I mine Scala XLA with one Raspberry Pi 3B. You can mine this coin to with any Android mobile.
XLA. They are a privacy coin and they have a mobile wallet to use. Their biggest thing is their Mobile Mining platform. As long as you have a phone(no iphone right now), you can mine XLA. You can mine on on your computer as well, only CPU, no GPU mining, which means you actually have a chance to earn some coin without some specialized hardware. Anyway, that's my pick. Scalaproject.io
