I made a bit of a killing on TRTL last bullrun lol
If anyone has heard of TRTL, it’s a coin that was a privacy coin very similar to Monero. The dev got antsy and decided he’d kill the blockchain and force the users to swap to an ERC-20 coin while quantum resistant algorithms are improved. Basically only 30% of the coins were swapped, the community has been left without answer holding an ERC-20 in place of vaporware. My theory is that he didn’t want the weight of a PoW chain polluting the Earth with GPU power so this was his exit strategy. Point I’m making is that this is the easy way to pull this off, force people to swap into a quantum resistant fork.
Being able to afford to pay off my car. That’s pretty much my end goal. I’ve gotten ~$200 profits but at one point my TRTL wallet had rocketed up to $900 I should’ve sold that week :/
BAT, ETH, and BTC are my main holdings. Lotto amount in TRTL as that should have some momentum with TRTL 2.0 coming out next year. Trace amounts of TRX, ONE, DOGE, and NANO that I earned for free, but not nessicarily bullish on it.

TurtleCoin. One of the most educational crypto currencies, a privacy coin with good tech. I have other coins but I always come back to TRTL. I schill the f*** out of TRTL when I have the chance but honestly the community stays quiet about it because we all know that the coin sells itself. With a 12M market cap, no marketing and no white paper, you should be impressed. I DCA this one every dip.

XLA, TRTL and ARRR. I first read about XLA when I was looking for a coin to mine with a phone. TRTL and ARRR I found on tradeogre, the exchange where I buy XLA and other microcaps. I think privacy coins have an exciting long term future.
I think you mean Monero vs TurtleCoin. TurtleCoin is faster and more anonymous. They both use baromean ring signatures but TRTL uses up to 10 mix-ins instead of 3. Also TRTL is moving to POS next month but will have a year of mining the PoW coin before that chain dies. So TRTL is the only coin I know of that is POS and PoW at the same time starting in October.
TRTL, they will have some new improvement this year.
Turtle Coin (TRTL) for me, it was the first thing I mined. It had a little a little bump in May but I don't know. Maybe it's more about the community in the end.
TRTL, mostly just because I like turtles. It's gone up since I starting holding it so I'm not super upset, but I'm only holding it on the hopes that one day it'll be worth something (aside from going up in value after the 87% burn).

How does TRTL solve the issue of decentralization then? If its a private currency, then you wouldn't know that some whale is holding enough of the cap to influence the chain.

Check out the TurtleCoin in the TRTL sub or turtlecoin.lol A lot of changes will happen. Around october they change to TRTLv2, they change from PoW to PoS, which means less energie consumption. The TRTL goes green. For me thats the future.
What are your specs for the laptop? Starting from this point you can check what to mine on various sites. I give you an example for mining TRTL with an i5-8265: about 3 KH/s. For a desktop with an older generation i5 CPU and an AMD RX550 the output is around 8 KH/s (3+5). I don't think you'll scratch the surface too much with one device mining some not too difficult-to-mine altcoins. Better invest some 20-40$ a month in a cryptocurrency "with future" and hope in a couple of years from now on to gain some capital.

Banano isn't trying to be a serious coin like safemoon is though Banano is aware of it's only goofy-ness. It's light hearted, much line Wownero and turtlecoin I don't think these projects are promising people will get rich. There's no army who shows up to downvote you or tell you that they're legitimately good investments which will pay off. Like I'm not going to recommend someone buy banano the way that saferuggers push their shit coin. Market cap isn't a direct measure of money invested. Suppose TurtleCoin has very low volume. One person puts in a market buy of .001 TRTL. There are no sellers except one person who jokingly placed a limit sell at $10,000/coin. The order executes, and since there is no other volume, that's the new price. If the supply is 10 million coins, the market cap is suddenly $100 billion thanks to a $10 transaction. Obviously it's an extreme example. But if someone suddenly placed a $1 trillion buy order, the market cap of bitcoin would way more than double. If someone suddenly sold 2% of the supply, the price would drop much more than 2%.

Consider looking into TRTL this is the coin I mine to sell for other cryptocurrency but recently it exploded and my $30 became $460 It’s insane but I’m still gonna consider selling some for other really small coins to hopes of the same thing happening
