"This reminds me of **Coupang (CPNG)**. They went public on the NYSE after years of losing hundreds of millions of dollars annually. Everyone thought they were crazy, but they were just playing the long game to monopolize the market. AI is in that same 'land grab' phase. The $100 cost vs. $1 revenue isn't a permanent flaw; it's a race to become the infrastructure that everyone eventually *has* to use. Once the winners are established and the tech optimizes, that $100 cost will drop significantly, and the revenue will skyrocket. It's not a bubble; it's a build-out."

SE and CPNG hurting me today, thought we were gonna get a nice EM start to year but nope
Coupang ($CPNG) is replicating the absolute logistical dominance seen in the early Amazon years. Infrastructure density in South Korea provides a moat that capital alone cannot bridge. Because the equity has stayed flat despite consistent margin expansion, the mispricing is glaring. So, we're looking at a rare, misjudged compounding machine. Which is why it's the premier play for 2026.
#TLDR --- **Ticker:** CPNG **Direction:** Down **Prognosis:** Buy May '26 $21 Puts **Korean Sentiment:** Big Fuk **Thesis:** US investors are pricing a data breach, Korea is pricing a funeral.
Why MELI? What about CPNG, SE?
Should I buy CPNG stock?
anybody think CPNG rebounds to $26+ by EOY?
CPNG stock watch out. South Korea prepare 1bn fine. I want to share this news and subreddit block my post.
another interesting earnings play might be Coupang $CPNG any of my Korean buddies think its a winner?
That’s what I’m wondering too. Will be watching CPNG and EWY to see what happens. No idea what to expect though.
Do you have any thoughts on CPNG by chance?
17.4%: Coupang (CPNG) 11.9%: Phillip Morris International (PM) 6.3%: Wise (WIZEY) 6.1%: Remitly (RELY) 5.8%: Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMAB)
To keep as a watchlist: 🇯🇵: EWJ, TM, NSANY, HMC. 🇰🇷: EWY, CPNG, LPL, SKM.
$CPNG looks struggling to stay up premarket. This might get sold off today. We will manage this trade as the day goes on.
CPNG beat earnings by 300%, maybe I make $5 tomorrow to offset the hundreds I’ve lost the last week
\- Careful with IV: there's high IV before earnings, 3/14/25 $CPNG $23 put IV is around 55% in ibkr. \- Instead of the buying $23 put, you can get in like $23/$20 put spread, or a credit spread \- CPNG already has relatively high short interest, so if earnings aren’t as bad as expected, you could see a sharp rally instead of a drop.
Also, I’ve posted other plays if $CPNG is not your first choice.
I took your ZM call out last night, so I'm tempted to play CPNG. However, this just is not my type of stock in share price or what the business is.
It's like blizzarding outside, but CPNG deliverymen are still working this hour. Respect
All this sounds like Chinese to me. You're CPNG deliveryman thinking no one would be awake at 5 am while you're on your route talking on your phone but did you account for a girl crying on the other side of the door bc of ADBE?!
CPNG offers free overnight delivery for all orders over ₩15,000 or $10.49 in the current exchange rate
waiting for CPNG to deliver the kimchi I ordered to make my side dish good thing I pre-ate 12 hrs ago, so I have the stamina to wait
My CPNG idea was pretty much close to break even, the coup was less than a day long and less volatile than I expected tbh
CPNG dominates retailing in SK absolutely. But it doesn't have AWS and Global strategy.
That South Korean thread got deleted on here. But it pointed me toward CPNG and glad I bought in pre market. I havent exited yet. Im up 5% on the trade so far.
I thought this sub was about making money. CPNG is already down 7% in pre-market if this is temporary FUD. That seems like an easy swing trade.
Because this game has changed. NVDA ABNB CPNG stocks like these, yes but the ones I stated just jump whenever the shorts get out or if some timer gets into it.
Whats your take on Coupang $CPNG?

I’m in CALL for CPNG and PUT for SMCI
CPNG looks like it is ready to explode. Buying calls for both expiring EoY
Who can tell me more about $CPNG / Coupang?
The problem I have with just buying back the stock is that my purchase price will drift upwards and effectively cut my returns for the type of volatility I'm working with. For example: Buy at 100 Sell CC at 101 Assigned at 101 with stock at 103 Buy back in at 103 Sell CC at 104 Stock drops back to 101 I don't want to sell CC below 103, but those options don't return much, so ideally I'd be selling CC at 102, but that being assigned would be a loss Alternatively: Buy at 100 Sell CC at 101 Assigned at 101 with stock at 103 Sell put for 101 Stock drops to 101 (or just over so not assigned) Sell another put for 101 Put assigned w/stock at 100 A couple of key notes: 1. I'm doing this with weekly options. Typically selling on Friday or Monday for the following Friday. 2. This is not a growth investment for me, but rather income. This doesn't scale particularly well as the demand is generally not high enough for very large investments. I'm typically selling $1,000-$2,000 in options each week, for around $80,000/yr. 3. Alternating calls and puts only works with stocks that are volatile within a range, or trending higher slowly. It wouldn't have been great for NVDA last hear for example, though I'm looking at that one again. For rapid growth stocks I just stay with straight buys and calls. I think my best performers have been SHOP and CPNG. 4. I only do this with stocks that I've researched and hold long in my main retirement account.
So CPNG Eats has this option where you can get free delivery if you're ok with having your deliveryman deliver your order w/ other orders or have it come directly to you for $1 more. The latter option gets here in 9 minutes. The former arrives in 50. Literally 5.5x difference to save a dollar, but guess which one I chose.
I haven't cooked the whole week. I have been ordering food but eating it for 2 days per order. So far, I spent $36.75.. that's only $5.25/day and $1.75 per meal. CPNG Eats 👌✨️🩷🩷
FTCH assets were bought by CPNG - unfortunately shareholders got 0.
Ok wellㅡ *350g* is nearly .772 pound or 12.346 oz *antibiotic-free* means the chicken were "organic" and were grown free ranged (not locked up in small cages all their lives) *CPNG* is the ticker for Coupang *loss leader* is a pricing strategy where businesses sell things below their market cost to attract customers and try to make profit on other goods and services they buy from related purchases
I just got 350g of antibiotic-free chicken meat for $2.72. CPNG showing how loss leaders work in real time 🫡

What an odd thing to announce in this conversation about CPNG
From the moment I place my grocery order, it takes CPNG 16 mins to package my items and have it leave their warehouse Yet it is down over 3% today
Who’s playing CPNG earrings today?
I hold SQQQ, TZA, and SMDD, together they consist of ~15% of my portfolio as a hedge against my investments in CPNG (in @~19), ASPN in @~19) , DKNG (in @31), and a few others I’ve been picking up on the way down.
CPNG Rocket Fresh The Korean version of Amazon Fresh
So I’m hammering CPNG and ASPN as there both going through a bit of a sell off and down from ATH. I think there forward PE is pretty sick but we’ll have a better idea of if im right after earnings over the next week
THANK YOU! And yah, I couldn't find flying fish roe in my local supermarket, so I had to order it online through CPNG

Not that long ago? I'm used to budgeting real frugally, but the meals are very basic. 80% will be rice, beans, ramen, pasta, canned food and any produces on sale. If you want to eat healthy (especially in Korea) with fruits and vegetables, that'll cost more here. When I was in America, I tried to budget $6 per meal if I was eating out. Chipotle chicken burrito then was around ~$10 so I'll get one and split it into two meals. I spent like ~$14 earlier this week buying stuff on sale in CPNG and got 4 prosciutto mozzarella baguettes sandwich out of them. So that was ~$3.50/meal for me. But if I'm making like pasta and using just garlic, 🥦 and oil then it's a lot cheaper for a meal. You can technically make a meal from $0.80~$3.50 budget but it's not ideal. There isn't that much big cut off from quality if you're taking away a dollar or two from $10 but there is if you're working with $4 and under. And ofc if you can afford not living like this then that's best lol

"'Alibaba To Take On Coupang With $1.1B Investment In South Korea' - Nikkei Asia" - BABA gonna fight both SE and CPNG now
It's a rough stock, Korean firms historically grow very quickly then manage their companies in a way that is very non-investor friendly manner. There are also things like the the "chebol wall" where the older/bigger families have been seen as disruptors moving into the space with the govt's blessing. The population is also an issue due to userbase slowing/shrinking over time. If you're investing in it as a growth company this is a huge factor since market saturation and market growth YoY are big factors. In these type of growth-focused companies you need YOY consumer growth. People say "the amazon of" but it's not really a fit, Amazon has AWS which greatly adds to their valuation. CPNG doesn't have that, so to keep it on par or even bring in FPE doesn't really pan 1:1. They're also in an area competing directly with SE, and other "Amazon of XYZ asian country". So they will have a hard time growing outside of South Korea.
The growth is limited to the users. In this case, South Korea. For CPNG mostly caters to SK. You should search average users to the total population and compare that to AMZN. And also, you should see check up on the current trend of the KOSPI (Korean Index) because last time I checked, their economy isn’t looking too great.
Watch my BLDE, SB, and CPNG 4x ur portfolio gains.
2021 ended up on a high, had to take boat load of cash out for taxes thanks to wins on $NVAX. Even made my accountant wide-eyed after how much income I had to report that year! 2022 closed out -55% YTD, bad yolo's on $CPNG+$SQ. Softbank CEO dumped 30m shares on my ass, and I ate -25% just in December alone. 2023 closed out -23% YTD. Sold the bottom in my position after two bad earnings by $AMZN which dragged my $CPNG position down to yearly low. Had a nice mid year recovery. Played around with a few yolos like $TQQQ. Can lightning strike twice? $NVAX had hit new 52-week low and I saw a short term oppourtunity that might've went a little too long. My YTD was +36% by September. Then the crash came for everyone. And while the market got renewed life in November CPI in 2023, this one didn't. I cut my losses and moved. 2024 wow, just wow! +75% YTD. Made up all my losses from 2023! I am keeping this position a secret so WSB doesn't ruin the ticker! No AI, no silicon, no NVDA, no WSB meme stock! This one isn't even in the history books! Other notables. HSA trading account +92% YTD T-ira account (funded for 2023 & 2024) +126% YTD, +273% for life of this account! My 401k, +54.5% YTD (this one is a diester, loss most of my money in 2022 in a self direct) locked in about 200k in loses from the high of 2022 to end of 2023. Vanguard (thought this would be boring, but recently had a +20% day yolo), +53% YTD My smaller fun account +79.5% YTD TLDR; A market crash/correction is coming!!!
CPNG with a 19.00 break, its gunning to overtake GOOGL in my portfolio since earnings...
2024 new positions that I am very happy with: NXT, CELH, NU, CPNG 2024 positions that are not working out yet: FLNC, SHLS Overall, 2-1 good to bad seems fine enough so far...
