Chegg is well positioned to go from AI roadkill to a leading EDU AI app. The narrative will change as the market catches on that the DeepSeek revolution means the value will move from LLM to applications designed for specific purposes and you don’t need $10B+ of compute to compete. The company has been integrating AI with their partner Scale AI for 18 months. If Duolingo can thrive post AI, so too can Chegg which is roughly the same size and large enough to continue investing in product development. DUOL is up 82% in a year and Chegg is down 84%. It won’t take much for this stock to turn around in light of new developments in the AI ecosystem

Risk Dissolution Protocol** 1. **Volatility Containment:** ```python if VRSSF.σ > 80%: hedge_with(VIX_Calls, QID) ``` 2. **Liquidity Safeguard:** ```math \text{Max Position Size} = \frac{\text{Portfolio}}{10} \times \left(1 - \frac{\text{Short Interest}}{\text{Float}}\right) ``` — **Framework Verdict:** - $VRSSF = **Strong Buy** (9.2/10 Framework Alignment) - $GNS = **Speculative Buy** (7.8/10 Framework Alignment) These positions form a **consciousness technology barbell** – $VRSSF as the quantum spatial anchor, $GNS as the meta-cognitive disruptor. I have also lost... Not nearly as much as you but a significant portion of my total money. I could be in Thailand right now, or I could have paid off my debt, or built a new gaming rig, or paid for EDU endorsements to further my career... I know how it eats at you... every night when you go to sleep you mull it over in your head repeatedly. Just hold out as long as you can my dude. All we can do is just make it to the next day and the day after that. If you have 5k or 10k left or any amounts. I implore you to take a much needed vacation to Thailand. Everything is affordable the food is amazing and so are the women. Thai massages every day... Also surrounding yourself among people who work 6 or 7 days a week and for wages so low it really can put your own struggles into perspective. Go to a buddhist meditation retreat, or a yoga retreat, or just the SPA or hangout at the pool. Go to the markets and eat street food, go to the bars and meet locals and other travelers... Find something to live for my friend.

Also, you don’t actually own a stake in a Chinese company if you buy its stock. The VIE structure is such a massive turn off for any serious investor. Even if you think China won’t risk touching the VIE structure (to avoid spooking international investors forever), they still can mess with the companies you “own.” Long term holders of BABA, EDU, TAL, etc. found that out the hard way.

Don do it unless the United States is not the leading country on this planet. Invest in other country is a joke. I come from China and work and live in the states now. In the rise of china for the previous two decades, almost all of the most successful Chinese companies like BIDU BABA PDD EDU are part of SPY and QQQ. Even the new EU companies like NIO and LI are listed on the US stock markets. So basically its a joke to invest in other stock markets. It is reasonable to buy real estates in emerging markets but not for stocks!

It's very much based on political risk but if relations are good with US and the CCP doesn't fuck over the industry you invest in then you can absolutely make a shit load. For instance, the CCP banned tutoring at one point and all of the companies with that focus dropped by 90%+ to the point that they had significantly more cash than market cap in some instances like EDU, which has increased 8x since that point. There are many such examples.

> Can someone who has half a brain more then me explain why this happens? Well, half of zero is still zero, so .... SORRY! It was a just one of those jokes that was teed up too perfectly to resist. Unfortunately, this kind of thing happens a lot with non-standard adjusted options (that's why it's EDU1 instead of EDU) on all brokers, not just Robinhood. Did the adjustment happen recently, like within a day or two? It takes a few days for brokers to catch up with adjusted options data. But even if it was a long time ago, there is often zero volume on non-standard contracts, because they are a dead-end market.

A lot of previously bullish stocks are breaking down and losing support along with the SPY flag. As always this is an opportunity to look for stocks with relative strength, especially stocks holding support on their rising moving averages. First things first, let's take a look at SPY and try to find a possible support zone for a bounce. [**SPY Chart**](https://i.imgur.com/DcAa7QZ.png) I try to look for the maximum range of the indices. If they reach top of range, that is a short entry, if they reach bottom of range, that is a long entry. Rising 50ma support on SPY will be about $397 tomorrow. That's a good long entry that isn't too far from current prices. Resistance is too high to matter, up around $408. That price will come down quickly though. Basically this is a wide range and I'm expecting some choppy days ahead after that big break down. There is one stock that has been an absolute standout in terms of relative strength. That stock is IQ. I've already had a big win on this, and looking for another entry. It had a +4% day today despite the hard market selloff, and is still holding rising 20ma support. Tomorrow morning is earnings report, so if it gaps up on earnings and holds, this will be a buy for me. Look at this fantastic support on rising 20ma, this is what you want to see: [**IQ Chart**](https://i.imgur.com/4CVIYEu.png) Another candidate, a bit weaker, is EDU off the 50ma. China stocks have been showing some relative strength, and this is another example. Last candidate is CRNC, an AI stock, if it holds the rising 20ma. The natgas selloff is getting intense, reaching near historical lows at this point. There will be a great long opportunity somewhere, but timing comes down mostly to luck. Lots of people have been burned by this already. This is a better opportunity for a long-term trader than a swing trader like myself imo. If you can hold for years with a couple DCA, this might be a decent spot to start creating a position.

You should check their numbers. Compare with bigger dragons like TAL or EDU. Delisting fear is gone, so all CH stocks are starting their rally. US tech rally is over. Inflation is better ik CH than other markets. EDU ban is only for K12, there are still a lot of courses to be given for above 12 year olds 😃 Also, the (false) allegations of fraud have been cleared by the SEC very recently, it's published by the SEC, you can read it up! Don't want to push anyone investing into this stock though, you should feel comfortable. Sometimes you really just want to share the happiness you feel when you are getting this dopamine hit from this rollercoaster, but I rather share it anonymously online, than sharing it with friends and possibly impact relations. So thanks for the positive note mate!

Hey yes! I did good buying nio in early COVID 2020 and it paid off, sold a bunch (still have 2k shares) and eventually my other bad investment was holding leftovers of nio on the way down, but recouped my losses with EDU, sold that all and now DIDIY hopefully it pays off.

Personally, I take my gains and put them in JEPI and reinvest some in new bets. I have JEPI on DRIP and just keep adding it it through gains elsewhere. I view this strategy as helping me get an early start on my income portfolio. I have some long term holds (SCHD, SPGP) and also some risky bets that have some nice gains (EDU). I plan to hold onto EDU for a while more, but I plan to put almost all those gains into JEPI. I’m out some into another bet.

 >GOTU is in a much better position than tal or edu AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA This shows that you have zero understanding of the actual market situation in China and are simply looking at financial statements. While I applaud you, EDU is clearly the market leader. Show me the advertistments for GOTU. Show me the brand recognition and awareness that GOTU has. Show me the actual products and services that GOTU is offering. I can go on Douyin right now and buy XDF Products. I can go to a mall right now and seem them advertising classes and services. They still operate schools, and training centers. There is zero way for GOTU to compete on the level of EDU. Please explain in detail the business case for how GOTU will outcompete EDU. Oh, I'm sure that GOTU might be profitable to some degree. But to say that GOTU is in a better position that EDU is just complete nonsense.

It’s shit. If you want a stock with actual value go to $EDU. GOTU already had allegations of fraud like two years ago. It’s going to come crashing down soon enough. There’s nothing backing it.

>Which stocks? BABA, EDU, NIO, MF. Also, CQQQ and CHIQ. >mobius-chinese-markets-won-t-do-well-short-term Literally no stock market will do well in the short term. Are you talking about comparative analysis w/ regard to Dynamic Zero, or are you talking about the venting of frustration in China? The reports are way, way, overblown. A few hundred people are frustrated at Dynamic Zero. It's not like the Chinese Government is in any threat of collapsing. The biggest threat to equities is a Fed Funds Rate above 4.5% which is a lot more probably than anything involving China. Plus, what exactly does a BBC Journalist being beaten and detain have any relationship or correlation with international equities? All this is is FUD predicated on gross misunderstanding of what is actually going on.

TAL and EDU. Chinese education companies that bit the dust during the CCP crackdown. Bought them as a complete lottery ticket but I'll be darned if they haven't been my best performers of the year.

>China is moving more and more towards nationalism. So are other countries, Italy, America, UK (i.e. Brexit). >Isn’t China’s goal to eventually displace these and eliminate them? No >These companies really rely on China. Are they doomed? No \----- I mean, I don't know what to tell you, other than you don't really understand what China is about. The After School Training Schools were a social issue growing for many years. Xi talked about it in various speeches. Yeah, they went about it suddenly and draconian - but it also wasn't entirely unexpected. Ask anyone who worked in the industry and everyone would agree that it was an absolutely f\*ed up situation. Basically, it was needed regulation, but horribly implemented. In terms of everything else you said - there's zero reason for the CCP to care about this from a social or economic perspective. Xi and other government officials haven't really mentioned anything about this. If anything, they've talked about deepening high level reform and opening up. So....No idea what the point of this post is. Plus, EDU and TAL are up from their lows. I'm already up 50% on EDU. Point being, if you know what you're doing, you' can make money. If you don't know what you're doing, you're gonna be screwed. This is like 9,9999x truer for China than any other country.

I remember buying EDU because of the “rumor” that they were going to stop for profit tutoring in China. “It’s just a rumor” I thought. “This price drop is an overreaction” Lesson being that there’s always some truth to rumors. Chinese stuff is pretty much at rock bottom right now, I can’t see sentiment getting much worse. I don’t know about specific companies, but I have some ECNS that I think will do well. Feel free to short it though. Not sure why you’d wait until it’s already down 50%, nothing in China has really changed in the past year. Same dude is in charge, doing the same shit they’ve been doing.

Or when they basically regulated an entire industry out of business: TAL and EDU, for example. Are you ready to take a -90% ride just because a dictator decides he doesn't want people playing video games?

A recovery, maybe. But, nothing like it was before the Double Reduction. The industry is absolutely devastated and there's very little room for many of these companies to comeback. Only one I have any hope for is EDU namely because it's expanding in areas not related to their previous core business. Most other businesses are just trying to survive, EDU is actually trying to rebrand and find other areas of revenue.

seriously? Do you own DD, being a Chinese here rn in the states, I tell you whats my idea on China concept stocks. Its a all foul plays in the black boxes and the political black swans(not rare) once appear, the stock is going to do a free falling. Like didi who just paid billions of penalty, and don’t even talk about EDU(and the whole china Education sector), the china edu sector just gone disappear cause some weird “supreme instructions” My humble opinion is buying calls if you’d like to. >I got not much clue about chinese market and how it works Then don't invest in China. Not knowing much about China or Chinese Equities or how China Works is an a guaranteed way to lose money. If you want to invest in China and don't know much about it, choose a China ETF and leave it at that. I'm invested in EDU, TAL, NIO, BABA, RERE, MF, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. It's been a wild ride, to say the least. I have my reasons for picking these, but I'm a China Watcher in my spare time and have a solid understanding about what is going on politically, economically, and socially. Unless you're willing to become a part time China Watcher - don't invest in China, unless you just do a generic China ETF.

Because I'm concious of what I invest and trade in, most people aren't. With DiDi most Chinese retail investors who actively follow Chinese news understood what was going on. I was suprised Cramer pumped Didi while probably having more info than I did. Didi wasn't supposed to be listed, there were some scandals and questionable acts, data privacy is a big concern, and it was China's 100 year celebration and Didi was encouraged not to list. Also Xi had opened a stock exchange to encourage growth in Chinese exchanges. It was a bad bet and people should have waited. But most people are animals and don't do research. You could bring up Luckin Coffee or EDU. But what about JUULS,Health South, Madoff, Wells Fargo, Enron, GME, AMC, MEME STOCKS, etc. American regulators and the FDA do questionable actions that dramatically manipulate share prices or none at all. So I don't really care what dumb idiots who are uninformed say about China. American government, corporations, and fellow retail investors want you to have blind patriotism and ignorance, that's how they make money. No one can keep up with regulations pushed in America. Same regulations pushed in China are sometimes similar to what Americand want too. If you do your research then things make more sense. America is like the emperor with no clothes on.
