Exactly.. balls deep on PEN (PENMF in the US) for this exact reason… compare to every other US based uranium mining producers market cap and you’ll see what I mean. No locked in contracts until 2028 in a rising price environment. Still risky as fuck due to being a brand new mine but if they can get their flow rates up and uranium prices go higher than $100/lb, then I will buy a house outright with gains in the next couple of years

i love a good dcf. i did one for tmdx when it was 60, and it hit my PT of 120 rather quickly. also did one for PEN at 180 and hit my PT of 300 i’ll post images later, not at computer but my latest play is GH at 40 with a DCF PT of 100

Peninsula asked for a trading halt in mid-April to review and revise its 2025 production guidance due to operational delays. However, they missed the April 23 deadline to actually publish that guidance. Because of the delay, the ASX escalated things and imposed a formal trading suspension on April 23. The company was still negotiating customer agreements by early June, revising production guidance, and finalizing associated financial plans. They explicitly stated the shares would remain suspended until all sales contracts and guidance are finalized. By this point, over 60 days suspended = index removal. As a result, index providers like Solactive began removing PEN from indices as of July 15, 2025. That adds another layer of pain for liquidity and visibility. This suspension is more of a market warning flag rather than a temporary pause. Until Peninsula finalizes guidance, locks in contract customers and commissions the plant, the ASX won't allow the stock to trade. Once they tick these boxes, the suspension will be lifted, but until then, they remain a dead ticker, and index funds have likely moved on.

I hold a few thousand shares in [PEN.AX](http://PEN.AX) and I am going to hold through the split for a couple of reasons. Firstly, shares outstanding will go from 3.2 billion to 160 million, effectively bringing the SP up to $2 while maintaining the current market cap. Secondly, it doesn't seme like a desperate bid to remain listed like a lot of other companies, I think they are positioning and restructuring themselves for further growth with the upcoming restart of uranium production (with the which the consolidation is coinciding with). It will also make them more attractive to institutional investors, especially given the recent boom in uranium stocks. My only concern would be further dilution given their history or delays in production. Like most stocks, I would probably expect a downtrend if no good news follows the RS. Realistically, if you're holding long term, then it won't matter as the market cap and your stake in the company will remain unchanged. I am hoping PEN can achieve a market cap of between $1-2Bn in a few years with consistent uranium production. For arguments sake, lets say it reaches 3bn (10x). With the current shares outstanding that puts the SP at near $1. Post-split we would be looking at around $20. TLDR: If you're long, buy the dip. If you're short-term, sell now.
Let’s hope my $30k worth of PEN @13c goes for a good, long run! If it drops below 10c again I will honestly chuck another $10k at it… seriously undervalued if all goes to plan.

This is all a matter of when/not if. Sometime within 3-6 months sounds about right for me. But surprise announcements/hints sooner cannot be ruled out. This all without even talking about state level progress (OH, PEN, FL rec, NY). This sector is reminding me a bit of the Uranium sector- not sure how many of you follow it. But post Fukushima stock prices just cratered and no one wanted to touch them (URA ETF for proxy, I own URNM myself). Eventually, one the markets changed their narrative and sentiment changed, stocks were re-rated. Hardcore/dedicated supporters (retail investors included) that always knew growth thesis would play out, but just wrong on the timing. I can envision cannabis stocks resembling that sector. Of course, not all companies will survive, M&A will take place, and eventually down the line some of these companies can pay dividends like tobacco/alcohol. If I can add, it's not that all of the sector has bad fundamentals. I would say the US MSOs have decent fundamentals which will improve with the removal of 280E (pay less taxes as a result). Bunch of states to turn on in the future (OH, PEN, NY, etc). For sure though, never do YOLO in any sector/investment. Not worth the stress/risk/mental health implications, etc. Not a fan of the Wstbtz style of investing. It's like quick rush/crash style of investing. Reason why folks like me are in this sector is the real value unlock we see with re-scheduling and as large institutional capital enters the space. The US MSOs have been able to survive and some even thrive in a federally illegal environment with so many hurdles to overcome. These hurdles are slowly being removed...great med to long term opportunity (not all companies will survive/thrive)
