For the first time, the top performing stock in my portfolio was a European stock

I think fractional trading has made a huge difference. For example there are many stocks at $100-200+ that I won't put much money into because I can't buy fractional shares. SIEGY for example.  Microsoft at $500? Sure, I'll drop $25-50 a week in it.

No, but not a bad idea. I do have a "Who rebuilds Ukraine" though for after that war eventually ends...FLR, HCMLY, CAT, SIEGY

Thank you for posting about this. I've been doing my own self-directed investing for over 20 years and always try my best to make ethical AND financially sound choices - it isn't always easy but there are some companies that I've divested from recently because of their actions: including MSFT, AMZN, ORCL, FTNT, NTNX, SIEGY, SAP, ANET and yes sadly even NVDA (not as hard based on recent performance 😄). Personally I don't want to profit from this dystopian stuff, whether it's ICE or war and genocide. Meanwhile I've still beat all the indexes over the years by picking tech stocks (buy what you know), so ethics and finances don't have to be at odds if you are willing to put in the time. One of the resources I use is this site from the American Friends Service Committee (the Quakers): [https://investigate.afsc.org](https://investigate.afsc.org) I also use the Weapons Free Funds site: [http://weaponfreefunds.org](http://weaponfreefunds.org) And other resources from As You Sow: [https://www.asyousow.org](https://www.asyousow.org)

I grabbed a couple EWG calls. The issue with EWG is a big chunk is SAP. I looked at SIEGY - Siemens I think it will do well. But have not opened a position. No options can only buy shares.

The US retreat from the world leaves a massive void for China to fill. Latin America will also benefit greatly from trade deals excluding the U.S. Domestic valuations are sky high, inflation is going to accelerate. My portfolio is now 55 percent US. MELI, ONON, SIEGY, NU, SPOT and countless more stocks have been crushing it for me. Great companies and great valuations beyond our borders, and the world is realigning. Once the world learns they don’t need the US as much as we believe the world does, it will never go back. Beating the SP500 by 12% this year.

If anyone is looking for swing trades or longer term trades/investments, I honestly, very strongly, think it’s time to go into European industrials and defense. Defense is way harder to invest in and the better etfs are on European exchanges but there are a couple ETFs here. Also some industrial names are dual listed (EPOL IEUR EZU SIEGY BAESY). Also Poland has been buying a lot of South Korean military equipment. Theres definitely going to be a preference for domestic production but you have to fill the gaps. Finally, I think Canada is going to look into providing EU energy.

the "general" one is Siemens Aktiengesellschaft ([SIE.DE](https://SIE.DE)). Or the ADR SIEGY if you're in the US

Well…actually; the main concern with solar storms in relation to power systems is the induction of geomagnetically induced currents (GICs). These are pretty much direct currents (DC) that can flow through power lines, transformers, and other components of the power grid. If strong enough, GICs can cause transformers to overheat, malfunction, or even fail, leading to power outages. But…there are products that protect infrastructure from such disturbances: *Blocking Devices.* *Neutral Grounding Resistors.* *Saturation Transformers.* *Monitoring and Control Systems.* *Publicly traded companies that work on this type of stuff (or will if it becomes a real threat)* ABB Ltd. (NYSE: ABB) Siemens AG (OTC: SIEGY) General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) Eaton Corporation plc (NYSE: ETN) Schneider Electric SE (OTC: SBGSY

So for clean energy companies I've been looking at: SIEGY, NEE, and FSLR. I haven't dug too deep into the company's financials yet, but most of these companies have a solid foot hold in solar, wind, nuclear, and wholesale/distribution. I am still looking to add some more companies onto this list, but I haven't looked at too many companies. Indian ETFs are a bit limited, but they have huge exposure to not only large companies but also small to medium companies. And the diversity of sectors seems pretty nice in these ETFs.: INDY, SMIN, and IXSE. The room for growth is actually crazy. These ETFs are killing it for a little bit now. I am still in the process of gathering a full and complete list of all the sectors I want to invest in. What do you think about the sectors I want to get into? Does it seem a little too focused on tech?

Siemens (SIEGY) vs Honeywell (HON) long term? both are experiencing material shortage and extended lead times. thoughts?

I bought VIXY on Feb-25 for 19.58 and sold it on Mar-08 for 21.73 when Putin's threats to nuke the world didn't push it up. I bought Siemens (SIEGY) on Mar-04 for 62.03 and sold it on Mar-09 for 70.82. I bought AVAV on Mar-18 for 80.40 as soon as I heard the announcement about the Switchblade drones going to Ukraine, and I sold it today for 94.77. I think it would be hard to get VIX to bounce again right now based on known factors, but I think there is lots of short-term volatility available to trade on. People are done freaking out for now.👼

All in on SIEGY, do it. Abby Cohen was recommending it when it as 86 a few weeks ago, and it's 66 now.

What food processing machines are you fucking talking about? I've often considered a DD on shorting $ROK because between the germans (OTC $SIEGY) and all the little shits (e.g. OTC $OMNRY) they are fuk as soon as these boomers die off.

I sold a lot of tech about two weeks ago and went heavy into industrials, commodities, miners and financials. OIL: VET, ERF... CDN oil plays even more undervalued Miners: BHP, TECK, CCJ, MOS Industrials: DOW, CAT, SIEGY Anyways, some ideas in case you're looking.

I didn't do too bad. I would have done better had I not sold a bunch of stocks earlier in the year to be able to afford a down payment on a house. So, I have about 14 stocks at the moment. My big clean energy ones are BLNK, CWEN, ENPH, PLUG, SIEGY, and SPWR.
