My theory: Unchecked government stimulus money related to the chips act went straight to intel which then reduced intel’s skin in the game. Suddenly intel didn’t have to innovate/be short term profitable to fund their growth. They instead just used the government money for growth. But that made a ticking time bomb for once the money finally begins to vanish, which is manifesting now. The exact same thing happened when Obama tried to bail out GM. They ended up just cutting a bunch of staff too. DONT REDUCE SKIN IN THE GAME KIDS! We can fund infrastructure in a much more sustainable way than this. Idk why we keep making this mistake.

I've, unfortunately, had the displeasure of dealing with hundreds of buffoons looking for start up capital to acquire commercial properties or businesses without having any experience, track record in the business they are trying to acquire & none of their own capital to put in. Basically risk free-to them-financing. You see there is something called SKIN IN THE GAME. You've got to put in your own money-in other words risk your own money-while demonstrating some measure of success on a smaller scale to get other money sources to back you to scale it to something larger. I can't tell you how many times a person came to me wanting to buy a multimillion dollar 4 star hotel who was broke as a joke in his own personal life. He was under the delusion some lender would be like "Here you go! Here is 5 million, you can pay us back with the revenue you make from your guests renting hotel rooms." That's not the way it works. You can't just slide in-obtain a business-lay back, relax & collect the big bucks. Why would a lender ever do that? The lender might as well BUY the business themselves & make all collect the revenue. As far as starting some business from scratch you need to put in your OWN MONEY. You need to take the risk on your own idea & demonstrate your business's ability to generate revs on a smaller scale first before you can go asking for money. If you have no business prowess that's going to be a tough hill to climb. Don't expect anyone to just dump a wad of cash in your lap with their confidence in you & their blessings. It ain't going to happen. You need to demonstrate something tangible that is concrete which can be scaled. You're describing is nothing but an idea.
