Canada. My combined income taxes rate is over 45%. And the healthcare system here sucks. The population increases and ages yet hospital capacity goes down, because of the bloat and wasted costs of the system. Perpetual discussions during elections about the constant problem of long wait times and hospitals constantly operating way above capacity with people on stretchers in hospital hallways and stuff and how the system needs more money. Same shit for the past few decades and it’s always getting worse.
Anyone know of some good crypto focused on the medical field? Been looking at MED lately.
With health insurance plans costing less then a monthly cellphone bill there’s no excuse to not be covered already. We all know the government’s healthcare track record; expect to pay even more for less thanks to fat bureaucracy and mismanagement. I refuse to sell on a loss. I've done that back in my early days and got traumatized so I rather go down with the ship and blame it on me for not seeing that I invested in something not sustainable. However there are coins that pump out of nowhere again, look at MED - bought for 0,08$ in 2018 and sold for 0,17$ last year. I actually made profit from a -99% coin. There is a MED, but otherwise the industry is woefully underrepresented. I look forward to what’s dreamed up in the space.
A few South Korean companies are building similar solutions in this space, Medibloc MED is one of the main ones.
For healthcare I also recommend looking at MED it's being used by the South Korean health service for a few years now and front runner for vaccine passports.
Originally I was BTC then ETH and ADA as they materialised. Over the years I have pretty much full time studied most new projects looking for hidden gems, last year I started to DCA into just MED and SLT which both served me well at the start of this years pump, I'm now out of MED having got lucky and selling for 0.26 apart from a small HODL bag. Recently I have been 100% focused on SLT as in my opinion tokenisation of real world assets (done with legislation on its side) is going to be one of the biggest booms upcoming in the crypto space. So diversification is great but once you find a hidden gem they you know is so undervalued whatever the market does it is hard not to go all in.

MEDIBLOC (MED). A huge disappointment. I sold 4 million DOGE for that crap.
When I worked in a grow we had a digital system for tracking, just scanned the MED tags and the computer did the rest. Granted this was a custom built system and it was a huge cannabis company that could afford to do that.

Every day that goes by, I feel a pain in my heart at the absolutely meteoric rise of MED. I saw it months ago and though, "Huh, healthcare and crypto? That has got to take off!" But I didn't get into it because I saw some shitcoin and thought MED would take way longer to rise than it did. I'd be a fucking millionaire if I had just listened to reason.

Nice to see MED on the list as it's pretty under the radar outside SK. So I would 12k - SLT and 3k - MED
For the biggest gains for the lowest risk it would probably be 90% SLT and 10% MED. Both under the radar gems, solid projects with massive upside potential.

Haha, I'm sure anything from 2018 is bag holding. Though the past 4 months have really taken off in the alt market. I remember the run MED had back then, $0.05 -> $0.29 in 5 days back in Jan 2018. I sold half my position and got into other coins that ended up going nowhere, but still happy to be holding some MED.
fwiw, MED 24 hour Volume ($1,015,993,618+) is 3.75x its market cap of $222,552,815, and exceeds BTC's $880,589,312 in Korean exchange Upbit, which is kind of mind-blowing. True, more places can be a bad thing, but at least on a blockchain, it's far more secure than where most people have their medical history currently.
