I had some XLM for a while and also saw SLT mentioned a few years back. Ultimately I hold neither now but still use XLM every month without fail, cheap and pretty fast

I'm also confused. Did he claim to be a developer? I'm a software dev with a lotta years of experience, and the vast majority of any SLT's I've had have no idea how to code. That isn't really their job though, their job is to manage the people that manage me. This is like saying Jeff Bezos should be an expert delivery driver, warehouse worker, marketing guru, project manager, developer, etc. in order to run Amazon well. Not the case at all.

Rode XLM from 0.02 to 0.6, and not selling in 2017. Then, I swapped my XLM to SLT in 2021, and SLT essentially died in 2022. That's just one of my alts. I mainly dabble in BTC and ETH, so I'm still in decent shape.

TBH I saw a few posts like that in the week(s) prior to them freezing withdrawals, but didn’t act. Idk what convinced me to make the move with that last post I saw, but definitely dodged a bullet on that one Runner up: Bought a coin on the Stellar DEX called SLT in early 2021 at around $1.20, and it blew up to ~$20 within a few months. Price action went sideways for a bit, and I sold my whole bag at around $16. Last I checked, it was back down to like $1. Yay for me.

SLT... It sounded like a really interesting and promising project with a decent and for crypto standards pretty knowledgeable community and doxxed team. I bought in at a fairly low price and just kept buying as it was going up. I stopped buying when it reached very high values because the project was too young in my opinion to be that valuable. Then it went down and I bought more real FOMO style. Then t went down more and I bought more, then it plummeted and I bought more. I sunk probably about 2k in it. Now the token is gone and it has been replaced by a new token. After the swap to the new token I'm currently 90% down. I obviously lost all trust in the team and I believe they moved chains and renamed the token in order to just get new people to fall for it. I'm holding that bag as a reminder now

It's a shame that Aqua is basically a portal for ponzi scammers to farm it - it was a good initiative initially. The DEX is decent to be fair, decent yield with yXLM and yUSDC (both of which are backed by ultrastellar) - but a lot of the coins on dex have been rugs, SLT, FiMi, RMT etc just been slow rugpulls unfortunately.

SLT is a Ukrainian crypto that has existed since 2017(I believe) and has been fundraising for construction projects tied to real estate prior to the invasion. They could easily be used to help with reconstruction efforts towards the nation. Also, they're green lit by the EU, UK, Ukraine, and Singapore. Unfortunately, that news got overshadowed by current events and has been on the back burner for obvious reasons.

My favorite project up until recently was SLT, I exited after I saw the issuing account status was unlocked I can deal with their constant delays, their failure to communicate quickly on some fronts, how they underplay some serious issues, and I even accepted that they weren't opensource (the only project that isn't opensource I was in). However, couple all of that and the fact that the issuing account is still unlocked and yea dawg, that's a big fat no for me Don't get me wrong I have other projects I'm in and that I love, but I'm still not sure what my new favorite would be as of right now
