Wow. That's so wrong. BFT protocols have been around forever. Like Paxos and Raft. Also, despite what ChatGPT says, **Bitcoin DOES NOT SOLVE BGP**. It solves a different problem. BGP requires the generals to attack at the same time under fog of war with a delay due to messages and not knowing whether messages are honest or valid. Bitcoin's longest-chain protocol is more like 1 general attacking while every other general can see that he's attacking. They have instant visibility the moment a general attacks, and they can easily calculate whether the messages are honest and valid. It's a very different problem.

I agree but they recently did an X Space with Holochain and explained the economics behind their networks. Companies can operate their networks just by paying fees in fiat which is converted to SOLVE in the background. So they would just deal in US dollar.

Alt coins are so unpredictable for me that I just bag some and put it out of my mind. Apart from that I just buy projects I find interesting like SOLVE, Akash, Storj, etc. Crypto from projects that are trying to improve real-world systems. But for the most part bag and forget.
There are companies projects like SOLVE using coins in their own products for healthcare, but as a general payment it is hard to imagine it anytime soon. It takes decades to adapt entire industries and many won't budge without an incredibly strong short-term AND long-term benefit change. Especially when the benefit is more for the customer than the provider.

At first, like most people, money making opportunity. But then moved to the other end focusing on tokens with utility and uses other than just as a currency. Utility tokens like StorJ, VeChain, and mainly SOLVE now. Tokens that are trying to be of use to the world and make things easier... maybe because I am getting older and am okay with my financial situation now.
Solve.Care recently made some pretty exciting updates to their project which I thought were pretty impressive and worth noting here. What I have gathered thus far: Care.Trials is the latest update to their wallet app designed to transform how clinical trials operate; everyone in medicine knows that successful trials can often fail due to cost or onboarding issues. Evidently they're using their blockchain platform and SOLVE token to tackle that. Seems like an effective project with great goals; additionally they're offering bug bounties for Care.Trials that could net them some extra SOLVE tokens while helping with good causes.
Hopefully tokens that have utility not only as a currency. Think of tokens for healthcare like SOLVE or tokens for research etc. Monero for privacy, and ETH hopefully as so many meaningful projects are built on top of Ethereum's Blockchain

Absolutely! That's a great point. I also hold tokens like SOLVE because I believe in the projects and their missions. For instance, SOLVE's goal of revolutionizing healthcare is remarkable. Imagine being able to access reliable health information while traveling, addressing your health concerns conveniently. It's a perfect example of how crypto tokens can have practical, real-world applications beyond just financial assets.

And thats exactly why I sold moons at 50c+ shortly after the Kraken listing. That pump was never going to be sustained in the middle of crypto winter. I also traded out my healthcare crypto SOLVE at +65% after seeing a news event, bought back a week later at the same price it was before the news event.
Most people haven't, I rarely get any engagement when I post about my unique pick of SOLVE as a healthcare crypto. But I've been accumulating for a couple of years, and pretty pleased with the ongoing developments they've been making throughout the bear market. I think an interesting one to look at is $SOLVE/Solve.Care. I believe I read a while ago they were doing something with Chainlink and SKALE but now built their own L2 chain and are trying out a Proof of Competence system they created to weed out bad actors. But from my newb perspective, eth and erc-20 tokens still seem to mostly peg their rise and fall with BTC. Can this link ever be undone?
Fellow healthcare worker here; I'm curious to see how and if Crypto can help the industry. I have my eyes on a project called $SOLVE at the moment. personally; I think one way that using crypto in healthcare would be fantastic as a means of having that 'digital identity, medical notes and information' that can be easily accessed for patients who may be travelling in foreign countries. This could also be tacked on with something like travel health insurance; I would hate to fork out the medical fees in USA for example if I needed urgent healthcare, but potentially with crypto, this could be a far easier problem to deal with.
Yeh, I'm still adding a little SOLVE. They're still active and developing, even through the bear market, which is a good sign. If it was gonna be rugged, the devs wouldve abandoned it in the bull run 2 years ago xD

Its a bear market, the blue-chip encouragement is going to be at its max. Once a bull run comes, or a bit of an lt-season comes, the shillers of everything else will be out in force. I think it speaks more about American society and your belief that guns SOLVE problems. Everyone pays taxes. Killing the tax guy is one of the first laws that got put in the books.
With SOLVE in particular, I doubt I would have been interested in reading up about if I wasn't working in the health industry myself. I'm pretty excited to see it develop and help improve healthcare processes on a global scale, especially as we return to travelling internationally again. If things like admin fees and medical reports can be done more easily with crypto, whether you're in America, Australia or Portugal, it'll really improve things for travelers.
