Opinions on Healthcare-Driven Coins (Generally)

TRUMP: NOT MAKING CHINA DEAL UNLESS SOLVE TRADE DEFICIT yeah.. he's even dumber than anyone thought

Wow. That's so wrong. BFT protocols have been around forever. Like Paxos and Raft. Also, despite what ChatGPT says, **Bitcoin DOES NOT SOLVE BGP**. It solves a different problem. BGP requires the generals to attack at the same time under fog of war with a delay due to messages and not knowing whether messages are honest or valid. Bitcoin's longest-chain protocol is more like 1 general attacking while every other general can see that he's attacking. They have instant visibility the moment a general attacks, and they can easily calculate whether the messages are honest and valid. It's a very different problem.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Honest question, have you ever learned a new piece of information that made you realize your previous opinion was wrong? That shouldn't need to be asked, but I've been through this same argument many times before and have realized that a lot of people are literally incapable of learning if doing so would involve admitting to themselves that they are not omniscient... hopefully you're not so afflicted. Anyway... > What does tokenization do? Well, it slows down transactions and increases costs. Here are some other opinions, maybe you think these people are less qualified to answer than you though? I don't know your credentials and I am sure that your view isn't just regurgitated claims from a random youtuber... > *"Tokenization may provide transactions with a higher level of security, transparency, and immutability. It also may remove the need for most intermediaries, streamlining the process and reducing transaction costs."* **SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda** - https://www.sec.gov/newsroom/speeches-statements/uyeda-remarks-30th-intl-institutes-securities-mrket-growth-development-061424 > [Tokenization offers] *"unprecedented transparency, equal access rights and little need for custodians, central clearing houses, or escrow services."* **CEO of Goldman Sachs, David Solomon** - https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/financial-services/our-insights/from-ripples-to-waves-the-transformational-power-of-tokenizing-assets > *"We believe the next step going forward will be the tokenization of financial assets, and that means every stock, every bond will have its own QIP (qualified institutional placement); it’ll be on one general ledger ... but the most important thing is we could customize strategies through tokenization that fit every individual. We would have instantaneous settlement ... because it’s just a line item."* **CEO of Blackrock Larry Fink** - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2024-01-12/fink-sees-tokenization-of-financial-assets-as-next-step-video Maybe you're right and they are all wrong? ------- > You don't understand how money or banking works. It DOESN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM YOU THINK IT DOES. It makes it worse. You are somewhat right there, I don't fully understand how banking works, especially internationally... but there seem to be a lot of institutions that do who are getting involved with tokenization, for example through Project Guardian (which both the UBS and Deutsche Bank projects I mentioned above are part of). As I mentioned, it's headed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, but I'm sure they are far less qualified that you when it comes to how money works... right? What about **Bundesbank** the central bank of Germany? Do you think they might understand something about how banking works? > *Various pilot projects have been launched to test use cases for the tokenisation of assets, leverage network effects, and identify the potential for capital markets. The Bundesbank is a member of the Project Guardian policymaker group, which seeks to deepen cross-border collaboration, advance discussion on standardisation and interoperability of digital assets, and sustainably grow the digital asset ecosystem. As part of the Asset & Wealth Management workstream, the Bundesbank will test an interoperable blockchain platform for tokenised and digital funds.* https://www.bundesbank.de/en/press/press-releases/bundesbank-joins-project-guardian-943616 Or how about the financial ratings giant **Moody's**, any chance they might have nearly as much experience at understanding how financial products work as you? > *Under Project Guardian’s fixed income workstream, Moody’s plans to provide risk analysis for tokenized fixed income products. This may involve fixed-income securities, fund units, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and other components of the digital finance ecosystem. Moody’s independent risk assessment is intended to enhance market transparency, reduce systemic risks, and facilitate the growth of the tokenization industry.* https://ir.moodys.com/press-releases/news-details/2024/Moodys-Announces-Participation-in-Project-Guardian-to-Explore-Asset-Tokenization/default.aspx Or what about the financial services regulators in Switzerland (FINMA), Japan (FSA) and the UK **FCA**)... could you maybe consider that they might have a >*"We look forward to working with our global partners to examine the market benefits, regulatory challenges, and industry use cases of asset and fund tokenisation."* https://www.fca.org.uk/news/statements/fca-joins-forces-global-regulators-foster-digital-innovation-project-guardian Finally, what about the biggest traditional credit/debit card company in the world, **Visa**, who are the way that most people most frequently interact with thee financial world... > *"Visa Tokenized Asset Platform (VTAP) is a new product that helps banks issue fiat-backed tokens. BBVA will use VTAP to create tokens on the public Ethereum blockchain with expected live pilots in 2025." https://investor.visa.com/news/news-details/2024/Visa-Introduces-the-Visa-Tokenized-Asset-Platform/default.aspx So again, circling back to the start, how likely do you really think it is that all of those groups, from regular banks to regulators, from central banks to card companies... are all wrong; while you are right?

Lol. Those aren't anything. Notice they don't make money or do anything. If you think blockchain solves x, you don't understand x. Having products that track crypto doesn't mean anything. What does tokenization do? Well, it slows down transactions and increases costs. They add crypto for the same reason people add AI. Marketing. You linked a marketing website. Crypto can exist. I don't care, but none of the things you believe are happening. It'd be a step backwards. You don't understand how money or banking works. It DOESN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM YOU THINK IT DOES. It makes it worse. No one wants self custody. Businesses and people do everything they can to not custody assets for liability. Like Wtf are y'all thinking. Either way, it's going to zero for money reasons and then maybe you'll understand. It's never been real, you've never understood it, and it's going to destroy itself.

See this is how this conversation goes with most of us "laymen" out here that see this all as a speculative non-solution to problems we've already solved in other ways: "What problem does crypto or the block chain SOLVE?" "Well we HOPED it would solve (things you don't like about government backed currency) but it has failed to do so"

>My knowledge level in crypto is above average and I would never invest in something that I know nothing of. Your level of knowledge may be up to par, regarding crypto use, but you have no levels in -> never reply to anything via e-mail or phone :)) That's the actual lvl you need to be ok with ... never replying to any phone call or random e-mails. I'm not sure how to explain this ... i'm in since 2021, and i got endless e-mails, sms, phone calls from random numbers, pretending wannabes, scammers (most likely) , i never replied to any of them and, Not to my surprise, nothing ever happened, never lost a dime in all these years. If you follow this simple advice , you will never lose a dime. The only exploit i could've been affected by, was the MyAlgo wallet hack , which was general, and all users had to change or rekey their wallets through Pera wallet, and i read it here, on a reddit sub, took 2 minutes to solve, was done with 0 external input or 'help" , no Algo was lost because THERE IS NO SUPPORT, THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT :) .. THERE'S NOT ONE CRYPTO COMPANY/BLOCKCHAIN TECH FOUNDATION THAT WILL CALL YOU OR MAIL YOU TO SOLVE A SECURITY ISSUE ... it's that simple.

I'm hoping SOLVE is my hidden gem, a healthcare crypto. But who knows, in a world where BONK and PEPE are the biggest money makers xD

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Alt coins are so unpredictable for me that I just bag some and put it out of my mind. Apart from that I just buy projects I find interesting like SOLVE, Akash, Storj, etc. Crypto from projects that are trying to improve real-world systems. But for the most part bag and forget.

There are companies projects like SOLVE using coins in their own products for healthcare, but as a general payment it is hard to imagine it anytime soon. It takes decades to adapt entire industries and many won't budge without an incredibly strong short-term AND long-term benefit change. Especially when the benefit is more for the customer than the provider.

SOLVE and Solve.Care seems to be resilient. What are your thoughts on healthcare tokens and similar industry specific tokens?

Mentions:#SOLVE
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

At first, like most people, money making opportunity. But then moved to the other end focusing on tokens with utility and uses other than just as a currency. Utility tokens like StorJ, VeChain, and mainly SOLVE now. Tokens that are trying to be of use to the world and make things easier... maybe because I am getting older and am okay with my financial situation now.

Mentions:#SOLVE
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Solve.Care recently made some pretty exciting updates to their project which I thought were pretty impressive and worth noting here. What I have gathered thus far: Care.Trials is the latest update to their wallet app designed to transform how clinical trials operate; everyone in medicine knows that successful trials can often fail due to cost or onboarding issues. Evidently they're using their blockchain platform and SOLVE token to tackle that. Seems like an effective project with great goals; additionally they're offering bug bounties for Care.Trials that could net them some extra SOLVE tokens while helping with good causes.

I think an interesting one to look at is $SOLVE/Solve.Care. I believe I read a while ago they were doing something with Chainlink and SKALE but now built their own L2 chain and are trying out a Proof of Competence system they created to weed out bad actors. Fellow healthcare worker here; I'm curious to see how and if Crypto can help the industry. I have my eyes on a project called $SOLVE at the moment. personally; I think one way that using crypto in healthcare would be fantastic as a means of having that 'digital identity, medical notes and information' that can be easily accessed for patients who may be travelling in foreign countries. This could also be tacked on with something like travel health insurance; I would hate to fork out the medical fees in USA for example if I needed urgent healthcare, but potentially with crypto, this could be a far easier problem to deal with.

To stem on from a prior discussion - and to gain more insight from others with greater understanding; We all know governments would hate pure privacy and what to regulate it. But is a privacy chain essential or can certain information simply be coded into a smart contract? I'm personally invested in a project called SOLVE, which aims to be used in healthcare, and I believe one aspect is is using the case of smart contracts to ensure that only the right people can view/read the information they need to; such as healthcare providers, insurance companies etc. I guess I just fail to see, if this is something smart contracts can perform on the ETH ecosystem, what is the real need of a specific privacy chain?
