I looked for a meme coin last year when Pepe was getting popular. Found $NYAN Meme Coin from an Algorand chatroom. Did some due diligence and found the creator was Kyle Chasse. His connected wallets is easily in the 7-8figure range. They also did donations to animal shelters. I’m not saying to get this but for me it was enough conviction to test the waters. I think in some sense people like the risk and possible reward. $DOGE $SHIB $PEPE even new ones like $NYAN can be seen as high risk but possibly high reward especially what happened to Pepe. Of course need to do your own research and ensure contract is renounced etc etc. I personally have dipped my toes into some of the and enjoying it.
I hate to say it but it’s pretty much hype, social media, rise in price action, influencers, everything that I told myself I would not follow lol. I also was a bag hold of $ALGO. I watched Silvio Micali’s videos on youtube and was sold on it. But price action didn’t follow not matter how good your tech was. So much to unwrap with Algo Foundation etc etc. But ya, I’ve dipped my toes in $PEPE, $NYAN, etc. and some other ones on ETH for the heck of it and it was fun but its also very risky. But ya, you can see trends as once an influencer would tweet about a project, boom project would get eyes, price action follows, etc. I still like $ALGO and will hold a bag for the future.

I think it's cool, but I'm so bad at it. It's like every time I've tried I either break even or lose money. Like I thought 110% APY cake was going to be a no-brainer and cake went from $50 to $10 while I was doing it. I also converted ETH to a different LP and same thing, stuff that pays the native token or some lesser known token seems to dump really fast. My third try was providing liquidity for Arbitrum's launch for NYAN where I broke even, had to wait 7 days to get my ETH back over the bridge (forced security issue) and then the damn Ethereum fees were insult to injury. I've watched so many DeFi tutorials too, I don't know why it's such bad luck. Surely it's working well for someone else or it wouldn't be a thing. I've read that if you're not doing it with stablecoins or get in/out early it's easy to lose money. But I also won't ape into an unpopular pair as there's too many rugs and a fella my age can't afford a risk like that

I guess ETH is used to buy NYAN in sushi to keep the pair 50/50. Is this why uniswap v3 forces you to pick a range so that you this doesn't happen? when the prices goto low or out of range you stop earning, but also they dont sell the strong side of the pair to make up for the weak one?
When you provide liquidity you provide the same value of ETH and NYAN at the beginning and in exchange you own a share of the pool. Now, NYAN losing its value means that every is selling NYAN and buying ETH, in other words the pool fills itself with NYAN whilst the ETH dry out. When you exit the pool, there is little ETH left and plenty of worthless NYAN so your share gives you back only a small amount of ETH.

I spent all weekend experimenting with Arbitrum, Optimism, and Avax C-Chain. They all felt fast. For UX, I really liked using ETH as the gas on Layer-2, but the fees on Arbi/Opti are still too high IMO (I guess due to TPS throttling?) 7-day optimistic roll-up reverse-bridge sucks. Lack of on-ramp support sucks. One negative of making dapps easy to port to L2 is that lots of clones spin-up. Arbitrum felt like the wild west after $NYAN attracted so much attention. My largest bag is ETH, but of the three mentioned, I actually enjoyed Avax the most—but that might be due to $GB.

It has always been there, but there was not really any group developing it and when the cryptopia hack happened, it just sat in limbo. A new group has been working on developing it, got an LTC/NYAN exchange up again, a telegram group and an actual marketing and adoption plan. It's going to be an exciting time, Nyan should really be at the level of DOGE, and Nyan has a much more limited supply, and much has been lost over the years, making it more rare. I am buying every day, and going to Hodl till be see $1.00 a coin before I consider selling.

Yep as other says NYAN is pretty good and serious. The dev is doing a great job while being present on the telegram to answer the community question. He handles everything by himself and honestly I'm impressed . Project development has been on the low side because of this but he made it all works and working. The thing is, NYAN has a working product and has been a development for sometime. If you were interested in decentralized hedge fund it's the most promising . DYOR as they say
Umm no? I've been in crypto since 2017 and I usually only go for enterprise-related stuff like QNT. I've been watching everyone else get rich in DeFi while I was "safer" and decided it was time to try something different. I aped into NYAN V2 a month ago and am very excited for a DeFi adventure. It's a small percentage of my portfolio, so if it bombs, it bombs. That said, it looks pretty good to me. Also, could you please try and be less presumptive and rude?
Decentralized investment funds are something I have been looking forward to for years. I am extremely excited for NYAN V2. The team seems to be well connected to existing hedge funds and wealth and the lead dev is a dedicated hard worker. This one has BIG potential!
