Come to Poland, use BTC atms - daily U can withdraw \~10k euros in PLN/per wallet. But its still cash - You can use it to buy food/travel/cars etc. Not everything You can buy for cash.
Don't be so sure, for example in 1995 the Polish Złoty (PLN) underwent redenomination because of which 10000 PLN became 1 PLN in the new denomination. Could happen the same to the dollar when hyperinflation picks up: so $10M would be $1000 under the new denomination, and Bitcoin might be below that at certain point in time.
There was a time when coinex was giving 15% apy on usdt for months. I still have some on 7% apy (I think, I didn't check lately and I'm not going to do it now). Definitely worth having some savings in this. Bonds and long term deposits in my country currently have similar apy, but on currency (PLN) with high inflation. If you are interested in finding good apy and safe, I recommend BCHbull. I earn from 12% to 41% apy just by hedging. It requires attention every 3 to 7 days, but gives biggest return so far.
AFAIR the price was even higher in PLN, reaching somewhere around $40 after the conversion rate.
[https://relai.app/](https://relai.app/) No KYC if you keep under 1.000 CHF daily. You can sell Bitcoin. Dont know if they support PLN. They got a lot of payment options. Don't know how they handle KYC.
I buy in PLN as it is my salary currency, no need for double the fees. Even without fees you loose on spread, so less exchanges the better
PLN :) if You wanna buy house it will be needed around 1.5-2.5 milion for 150 sqm 😂 loan for 35-40 years most of polish people take that credit… and You live as slave rest of Your life becouse if You will take 1 mil loan You need to pay about 1.4-1.6 :)
In Poland we got salary about 5000-8000 PLN it is 1450-2000$. And flats cost 600-900k for 50 sqm 😂 bitcoin is only hope.
Well its way less than they tax is on our job salary XD frm 4700PLN you can pay 1600PLN in taxes .... Its average income tax in Poland and tax from pursahes on other products.
And an extra 5% for anything above 1000000 PLN in a particular year. It's called "danina solidarnościowa" and the higher tax bracket isn't just for crypto, your salary is included as well.
Go to Google Finance and check some of the currency pairs. Here's example USD to PLN, it went from 3,93 to 5,37 down to 3,93 (now it stable at 3,98). Still shows -25%. https://www.google.com/finance/quote/USD-PLN?hl=en
Yeah but I stopped using Coinbase so I wanted to transfer my funds over Bybit as it has better offer as a platform. Also 80 PLN is a lot for us, you can buy a week worth of food for it.
It's not really Coinbase that's the problem. 80 PLN is approx. $20 USD? Sure - the fees will be high. Normally I pay $3 - $4 to transfer from CB to my own wallet. I'd wait until you have a sizable amount before making such a transfer.
I do not like Coinbase personally. Mostly because of absurdly high fees, I tried to transfer BTC directly to my Bybit account as I prefer this platform and from 80 PLN Worth of BTC I needed to transfer from Coinbase it took 40 PLN Fee !!! So only left like 20 PLN. To get USD divide by 4.
True. Even for our country USD - PLN rate is like 1 USD - 4 PLN and with rising inflation every year our salary is burned every year. Thanks to crypto I earned this month almost half of my monthly salary :).
I like to spend like 10 USD every month as this is what I can afford. In Poland it is 50 PLN and you can buy a food for a whole week for that.
In my country right now it is almost exactly 1PLN
Poland. In my country, cryptocurrency have no benefits whatsoever over traditional fiat. I only worry how to cash out crypto to PLN od USD.
tldr; Alchemy Pay has successfully integrated multiple European local payment channels, including Bancontact in Belgium, iDEAL in the Netherlands, and globally accessible options like Skrill and Neteller. This move aims to enable frictionless crypto transactions via the euro and is a significant step towards realizing the European Union's objective of a single digital market. Alchemy Pay, a Singaporean crypto on- and off-ramp solutions provider, is dedicated to simplifying the onboarding process and promoting the adoption of cryptocurrencies. They have also added support for the PLN currency, making it accessible for Polish users. Additionally, Alchemy Pay has announced an official cooperation with Neo for a Hackathon that aims to bring together blockchain professionals to collaborate on improving the future of the industry. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. What is POL token? Polish PLN being tokenized?
When I hear ramen I imagine a rich broth with noodles, vegetables, meat and egg and it's my no 1 meal. I don't appreciate how it is a synonym of lowest cost food here! In Poland you would say "chińska zupka", which translates to "chinese soup". It costs around 2 PLN. It turns out just cooking your own meals is cheaper when you consider how many zupek you would need to eat to fill yourself.
But what you observe now, isn't it exactly Gresham's law in action? We all who believe in Bitcoin as valuable asset, keep it in treasures, or speculate. No one same would pay with it for pizza anymore. It won't be circulating because hodlers think fiat is cheaper and inflationary. However inflation of main fiat currencies is far from reaching scale needed to Thiers' reversal. In history so far, most recently witnessed after the Soviet bloc collapse, what happened? Governments of post Soviet markets with skyrocketing inflation just did a cut. Ie Poland govt enforced stable FX with dollar, waited for Złoty to gallop, and when people had nothing left they established new currency at artificial 1 PLN to 10k old Zlotys course. And they keep inflation mostly on par with EUR and USD, usually just 1-2%higher to ease their debt. No Bitcoin dominance in sight.
XLM... Please go back to 1PLN
I believe it was 2016 or early 2017. I've been buying sats using Bitcoin ATM in a mall each week or two. Price numbers were almost the same as today, but in PLN. Really wish I was more orange pilled back in the day
Not for all pairs, for example, PLN, I've just checked ;)
For some reason the 15 PLN and 30 PLN looks so bizarre to me compared to $15 and $30 that I did a “brain fart” and thought this was a doubling of price over 15 years time vs. 10 years, despite having clearly read “2012” and “2022” and thought the 7.2% was waaay off, lol. 🤦🏼♂️ The food here in the U.S. is even worse though. I’ve seen 30%+ in 2 - 3 years (total compounded) which is more than 10% food inflation annual over that recent period of time and a lot of times it is accompanied by “shrinkflation” where the portions get smaller or made from shittier low-quality ingredients simultaneously.
30 PLN is 5.7 GBP. Would cost around that much in the UK. Is food expensive in Poland or is this just a posh restaurant?
I can get in my country only 1,5 PLN 😞
Large scale payments as business to business? I don't know and don't think that instant payments are for businesses to settle their transactions. This is for regular people. And regular people can set limits on their own (up to 30,000 PLN (\~6,200 USD) daily).
Seems like the govs problem, not mine. I dont count my taxes, I pay rough esstimate, than w8 for official corection with few PLN fine. If they wont find my btc transatcions, no taxes.
Anyone have any thoughts on POLLEN (PLN) on the avalanche chain?
Yes. Sorry for being ignorant, but Im new to this and PLN goes up and down lately and I wondered if it does matter.
My bank charges me a flat fee of 5PLN (about 1$) for transfer to any european bank account. Even if crypto has less fees, why would you want to transfer money that way? If something goes wrong, you have no one to ask for help. With a bank transfer, you have 24/7 support from your bank.
In an event of an absolute meltdown it’s likely it may not matter, indeed. But in “times of peace” some countries have a various guarantee programs from governments. For instance in Poland, which I’m from, country guarantees up to 100k PLN under BFG* *Unfortunately not Doom reference, but in Polish it means „Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny” (Bank Guarantee Fund).
Yeah it is a bit strange, I agree. I contacted their customer service to see why it exchanged through like 3 different currencies, they said it'd always coming from usd to your choice of currency. In our case gbp. But where did that PLN come from I have no idea. They said it could be the vendor had its payment set to accept PLN but that doesn't make any sense, why would tesco uk have PLN as payment currency 😂
Same boat. Don't quite know yet how to repay nexo if I use the card for buying anything.. It's a bit weird. Also. I used it in UK and the transaction was saying Polish zlote? Like, why? So it added £0.12 to the original amount to exchange PLN to GBP and then I got 0.15 cash back in USD. Super confused.
I strongly believe y’all should put some $PLN in their wallets. It's going to hype soon. It's a very profitable coin already!
I didn't Pay for this car. We have get it for using, just like a gift. Why leasing? Becouse monthly payment is more accurate for me in this moment. Also I wanna buy newer car so i need to spend more money than I will get from this selling Also I need to build a credit score history, aaaand there is an option to include Costs for a tax return.. there is a few reason why leasing is just the right option for me in this moment. She can't loan me 25k PLN without reporting it (ofc she can, but she will get trouble if somebody would find it). She can't jointly lease the car cuz' I'm one persone company and only I can be involved in leasing papers :/
According to the videos, The fees to sell looks around 5% and the spread is pretty high as well 45000 to buy and 40000 to sell, so if she received 55000 sats ~ 25 USD when she tries to sell it it would be around ~22 USD minus the fee it would be around ~20 USD or 80-90 PLN (Poland złoty)
* 0.54% for USD-PLN ($5.42 on $1,000) * 0.62% for USD-PHP ($6.22 on $1,000) This is on a transfer of $1,000, you can check these figures on the calculator on their home page. There is an additional incoming ACH fee of 0.16% ($1.60 on $1,000) if you don't have an account with them but if you open an account with Wise you don't have to pay incoming ACH fees, they give you personal bank details you can ACH direct to for free. You get a very slightly lower % fee with some currencies as well. These fees are the total cost for the transfer, Wise split out their fees entirely and there is nothing hidden. The exchange rate they give you is the midmarket rate, they do not pad this at all, their quoted split out "fee" is literally all you are paying.
Something isn’t right. 23 usd it’s like 0.0005 BTC. That’s correct. But 23 usd right know cost 98 pln, even without atm spread it won’t be that much like this lady is holding (she has in hand above 100 PLN).
Obviously depends how much you can play with but you can have a look at Fiat play GBP vs PLN , USD vs PLN etc… gains can be crazy and crypto is almost unpredictable at the moment. I cashed out in November and I think we will find the low around March/April. Remains to be seen…

Well, yeah - I know that feeling from exchanging USD-PLN. It's frustrating af :(
Of course. I was thinking how it works, because I keep exchanging USD-PLN pair. It goes really bad for me to be honest. I don't lose, but I keep missing the occasions all the time. But for the standard currencies, change of 5% in a few months is rare. The spread on the platform I'm using is also about 5%, so let's say that 1 USD is worth 4 PLN. I'd buy 1 USD for about 4.01 PLN and sell 1 USD for about 3.99 PLN. It sounds quite nice in theory, but sometimes these courses are so stubborn. Last time I needed to wait 2 months and I only got about 0.2% of profit. But then there are other days, like when Russia invaded Ukraine and the course went up 5%. Obviously, I missed it :)
Hi, I run kryptokantor.net . You could send BTC, and your friend could get cash in PLN/EUR/USD on Ukraine/Polish border. If you are interested you could catch me via company email: biuro@kryptokantor.net
Dip? PLN has fallen more than btc. Its pumping over here rn.
Don’t see any problem, just educate. People who will use Bitcoin will know what sats are. Just as people know what are fractions of the currencies they are using everyday. I bet americans dont know what is a fraction of Polish Zloty(PLN) - its grosz. It doesn’t make sense unless you are born in the financial system and/or using it every day.
tldr; Pollen, a DeFi protocol based on Avalanche, is getting its governance token PLN listed on AscendEX. PLN is the first Avalanche chain token to list on the Singapore-based exchange. Pollen’s mainnet is scheduled to be released in Q1 2022. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
Exchange PLN to EUR on Revolut and then buy crypto on Gemini, using ActiveTrader option. Low fees + free withdrawal (Gemini covers gas fees).
Hey, anyone knows exchange with cheapest fee for polish PLN?
Yeah. People say this but it's like that for any game. In its annual report for 2020, EA confirmed that Ultimate Team made more than $1.62bn. Fortnite made over $9 billion in 2018. Bungie has earned nearly $3.3 Million (Revenue) in 2 Months from 10 Eververse items. Meanwhile, The Witcher 3 has made 521 million PLN ($124.7 million). People will buy digital assets for uniqueness/looks/competition. It's a lie to say gamers don't like it. If they did they wouldn't pay for it.
I would show my Futures position, surely they will fund my negative PLN
Broo, I ended up selling ETH for 15 PLN profit 🤦♂️ ... could be middle class as well hehe
