Brazil economy grows 1.2% in Q2, beating expectations .. Should help boost Stocks with Brazil exposure (Best tickers: $MELI $NU $IHS ... $VALE ... also, $PAGS or $STNE)
3 Emerging Market Stocks that are oversold & Strong Analyst PTs, in the EM Fintech & EM 5G/wired sectors (2 of the highest growth sectors the next 5-10 years). $NU $PAGS $IHS
Why is $PAGS up 35% over the past few days? I included some DD as to why I own it.

I've seen a few write ups online about it, but all the payment names kinda blur together at this point. This one is more emerging market focused which is an interesting area, but even in LATAM there's MELI and NU doing similar things, plus STNE and PAGS.
MELI and NU have been on a nice run here, along with STNE/PAGS wish I had more international vs US for sure
Same thing must have happened to PAGS that stock is also down heavily this year.
I hold it (and PAGS) myself and I like it. I don’t really see a good reason for the decline either. I can only presume it’s about macro concerns, what if more of South America elects a Milei.
I went full dyslexic and bought PAGS instead.
I MOVED TO BRAZIL!! Well at least my stocks did. PBR VALE and PAGS. Licking my wounds from my last round of bets. Took the losses and on to the next! I am GONE from this overvalued US market.
These PAGS 13C bout to be the easiest money I’ve ever made. Happy Friday, regards.
I was down $8 grand, yoloed a random company reporting earnings shares on 4x margin, was originally in PAGS but switched to keys last minute and made $7600. Only company that had a large move.
PAGS is going to kill it. Brasil had an excellent economic quarter.
PAGS Seguro is inexpensive compared to peers
I don't follow either, but PagSeguro Digital (PAGS) is a large company which is rumored to have very good longer term prospects for growth. They are a little pricey to me right now. I might buy if they were a real bargain - much less than $8. But don't take advice from just anybody, do your own research. I do like these large companies that are worth billions, however. I bought CIOXY when its price was around $0.59 cents. Buying penny stocks is very risky, but the potential upside is huge.
What do you think about NU XP or PAGS ?
Damn, I hold PAGS which is really similar to STNE. Maybe because it went up so much in the past few months, increasing the valuation and warranting a sell rating to him.
Love NU and XP... On fence about PAGS but promising
Do your DD, tech: QCOM OSIS STNE FFIV PAGS
PayPal is a 62 billion dollar company, PAGS is a 4 billion dollar company. PayPal expects revenue to grow by 6%. PAGS expects revenue to grow by 7%. PAYO expects growth of 15% and 20% next couple of quarters. Payo is growing at at faster rate than both of these companies.
It’s a payment processor trading at 9 times sales at a PE of 35. PayPal trades at 2 times sales and a PE of 15. PAGS also similar, PE of 13 and trading around 1.3 times sales. The growth they’re projecting isn’t remotely close to warranting that kind of valuation. You’re trying to invent a bull case for yourself.
Brazil is just coming out of a high inflation period, and CB is about a quarter of the way into cutting rates. Rate normalization is expected to fuel price appreciation, especially in growth stocks like STNE, PAGS etc.
PAGS is the better investment imo. Same space and country.
I’ve been talking about PAGS for a hot minute. If you bought at lows a few months ago you got a nice 70% return on just shares. Fear Brazil.
I hold its competitor, PAGS. Which has gone up a lot because Brazil interest rate cuts.
NXST, CROX, ALSN, BWMX, PAGS are a few. In that order.
Buying SBLK, PAGS, ODBC & NIO.
Nice call, These are the names I am in NRIX, PAGS, SYM, WULF and ATOM
I’ve answered yesterday with following names: NRIX, PAGS, SYM, WULF and ATOM
That’s why I cross reference PE with PEG every darn time. PEG holding PAGS and PENN. Got in PENN $18 and at $7
PAGS with the master class on theta.
I think I’ve been playing PAGS ER every quarter for the last couple years, and every quarter it does *decent* but the timing of the market kills it’s momentum. I don’t expect it to be different this time. Their ER is tomorrow.
PAGS is up 16% since you last mentioned it to me. Hope you bought.
I am new to investing. This is my first investment portfolio and I am looking for your honest opinions on my decisions (or rather some post purchase confirmation bias). I have no idea about finance. I have no detailed idea on how to value a company or predict the prospects of a market. I've selected the positions based on compelling posts I've read on here, or articles I stumbled upon while researching that seemed reasonable to me. I am curious as to what you might think about my current positions. Be honest. What would you drop, what would you keep and why? Everything I invested in is red as we speak. Here we go: PAGS - cur -5% - 13% of portfolio Reasoning was that it is evaluated to be cheap, and Brazil might turn an economic upwind FSR - cur -1% - 16% of portfolio I wanted to get into the EV race, but TSLA seems to be already halfway to the moon. +The car(s) look sexy. ALB - cur -11% - 15% of portfolio Biggest US lithium miner and rising expected lithium demand - what could go wrong...? MODG - cur -17% - 13% of portfolio Quasi monopoly on it's venues, rich kids sport and expanding (never been to one, seems fun) PYPL - cur -5% - 14% of portfolio It's paypal, it sure must recover, right? Buy the dips, right? TMC - cur -10% - 25% of portfolio Roomba the seafloor for rare minerals while demand is projected to rise. It has to kick off someday if I pray enough... What is your take on my investments? Thank you in advance.
I have a 1,000 SPXU shares. They’ve lost 23% since I bought them and I’m not sure why I’m holding them other than a black swan event. Should I sell it all? If so, I’m thinking putting all that on PAGS.
PAGS, NU, STNE are the three bigs in the space.
Yeah I believe Buffet bought in at 10,xx $ ish back in 2021. The forward P/E seems decent on Nu though. I have a position in Nu at around 6$ a share. I'll need to do more DD on PAGS. Might want to add a it to my portfolio
NU is Buffet's thing, but PAGS is the best positioned in that sector, in my opinion. They have a conservative management team, but the largest issue to me is just them being in Brazil and geo-global turmoil.
I didn't even know PAGS.. Should probably do some more research.
PAGS just reported and they had stagnated growth and they're the leaders in that sector.
PAGS popping off before the BRICS summit this weekend lmao Me want more puts for weekend hold.
$STNE and $PAGS stoplosses hit, GG $PGY still holding
No moves, sitting on my $PGY, $STNE, and $PAGS calls, hoping they dont bleed out today lol
Yes, Brazilian companies in general are interesting. They've got inflation under control and are starting to lower rates. In tech, STNE and PAGS will benefit massively from this. The whole Brazilian index has been on sale because of Lula, but I don't think he's gonna do anything drastic because things are going pretty well. Brazil ETF seems like a slam dunk. Petrobras and Vale are the two largest holdings, and they're trading at low single digit PE's. Relatively good margin of safety (for EM), + the option of really mooning if the fabled commodity supercycle takes off.
$PGY gang GUHHHH $STNE gang....GUHHHH $PAGS gang....GUHHH $CLS gang...okay
What u got $STNE or $PAGS? Or both?
Brazilian financials $XP and $INTR both did well and are up afterhours. Gives me hope for $STNE and $PAGS CC: /u/mambabfk
$PAGS and $STNE holders in shambles...aka me
$CLS finally seeing some movement... $STNE & $PAGS on the other hand....are being quite frustrating. $PGY idk what the fuck is going on with him (tiger selling last 10m shares?)
$PGY gang, GUHHHHHHH $STNE and $PAGS also....GUHHH
Anyone who followed me on $PAGS and $STNE, im sorry- its been a rough few days with these stonkies
scratch my call to buy snow. Gonna hold current positions. $PGY $STNE 15c + $PAGS 11c nov calls $CLS 22.5 Dec calls

$PGY and chill $MTCH 50c sept $PAGS 11c nov $STNE 16c nov
bought some $PAGS 12.5c for nov, STNE 15c for Nov SPY (1) 465c for sept
$Pgy and chill Got also $PAGS and $STNE calls
BTO $PAGS and $STNE calls for nov, hoping Brazils interest rate descision is cutting and these rally. CC: /u/formerhandsomeguy and /u/brainsNotBrawndo
$PAGS is my best performing stock this year. I think that should be a good hold
The best way to do it is get an $EFA or a $EEM. There is always going to be risks for international stocks vs US stocks. Europe and Japan tend to be much slower growth than the US these days. Emerging markets like China, Latin America, and others can have more runway. However, they can have issues with corruption and nationalisation. I learned my lesson with $BABA and $SQM. I am up 50% in two months on $PAGS though. $NU and $CPNG are others I like for growth. But do DD and I would stick with ETFs if you want widespread diversification.
Does anyone here know PAGS stock and have they noticed anything that could explain the low valuation despite the company's growth?

I am buying another $10k of MULN once I have my tidy profit from $PAGS
Optimistically high, so at high risk of expiring worthless, but usually prices the stock has already seen. For example BE 30, STNE 20, PAGS 20, JD 85. I want to hold on until it gets there, eventually consider rollover. I’m taking huge risks so I don’t want to settle for low returns. Low returns can be achieved with much safer alternatives.
I have some JAN 24 BE, STNE, PAGS and JUN 24 JD. Didn’t do any detailed analysis, but have the feeling that some of their OTM LEAPS are well priced from a risk/reward perspective.
Mercury is in retrograde and Brazil in shambles What does this mean for my PAGS leaps
PAGS up 4% today 🥳
They're worst bags to hold, those will come back. \#BB \#NIO \#PAGS
Felt that title except I bought $PAGS calls instead and now I’m out $1,000 🙃
Down 65% on NVEI and PAGS. Ugh.
PAGS, Brazilian banking company, hit 52 week low last week, good time to get in.
Bought like 300$ in Puts on both PAGS and JWN, both looking to print. 1K-18K past two weeks, obviously still down like 50% all time because gambling is better than profit.
MercadoLibre had blowout earnings, PAGS went up with it.
That's true, it does look highly correlated. But PAGS has a beta of 1.73 and rallied 33% while SQ - with a beta of 2.45 - and STNE, with a beta of 2.39, rallied 11% and 16% respectively. Hence why I am wondering if there is another factor at play.
It's trading the same as everything in fintech, with higher beta. Look at the FINX fintech ETF vs PAGS. It's basically the same chart. Nothing fundamental to the company itself.
I played the PAGS 2024's glitch nicely this week I must say
VRM & PAGS seem to be 2 of the most undervalued currently (Carvana & STNE to a slightly lesser extent as well).
I always kick myself for reacting early, but I'm taking any profits I can today PAGS, VTI, KR, MARA
Who knows anything about N Canton, Ohio? PAGS 2024's closer to $650 is your reward in advance
PAGS 2024's if you like $ B's
AMZN is charting oversold. Stochastic is just moments away from crossing back up. RSI MFI MacD are all in agreement. That is a six month chart. No one knows if oversold turns or continues but almost always makes a reversal. Keep in mind, in this market the upside may (more than likely) be short term. If you believe that you can't time the market, you could dollar cost average into a tech ETF. Tech has lost between 25 and 60 percent. If the future continues as it has for the last hundred years, you'll make at least that percent back eventually by holding long term. These are my favorite tech stocks now. IIVI, PAGS, MGA, AMZN, EPAM and ARKF. I have owned them off and on but do not currently.
Closed long calls on STNE and PAGS. Purchased shares in both with stop at breakeven from calls’ profits.
Long $9 calls (July 15, 2022) for STNE. Long $12.5 calls for PAGS (June 17, 2022). Long SPY $437 calls and $382 puts (June 7, 2022) and short $378 puts (same expiration). 5 to 10x versus risk. Only 1% of portfolio. No YOLO by any means.
$MU $C $STNE $PAGS $GOOG $QCOM $AMAT $LRCX $KLAC $DOW $FB There's a million others too I would consider a lot of high growths in "value" territory for growth stocks but not as "value" stocks
🎾 Conclusion of my [PAGS Apr14 22.5c](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbetsOGs/comments/tqx6v8/comment/i2l4ee7/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) Sold the ones bought at $0.60 for $0.65 (8%), $0.70 (16%), and $0.80 (33%). Sold some of the ones bought at $0.50 for $0.80 (60%) and $0.85 (70%). I'm still holding a few of the cheaper ones, but I need this game so I'm calling the play now. **Current score: 3 - 4**
🎾 PAGS Apr14 22.5c for $0.60 I might load more if the strike goes cheaper.
Made my day's pay on PAGS calls - I peace'd out of the office for the day.
I feel like I'm the only derp derp playing PAGS longs. Is it true?
3 ETH 500 SG shares 500 PAGS shares 5x 3/18 TGT 260c
Re-evaluating my high-risk portfolio and I feel like I'm sitting on a bunch of lottery tickets, time to sit back and relax for a while, no silly moves. Let me know what you think. CHPT, RIOT, MARA, PAGS, SOFI, SPCE, RKLB, GOEV, HUT, ASTS Long GOEV and SPCE calls.
Anyone else in on PAGS? What are your thoughts if so. So torn on this one
avoid Brazilian stocks, see STNE, and PAGS, Brazil is going through elevated inflation and their central bank is aggressively tightening while the US is lagging
The whole reason my PAGS and MELI calls have been destroyed it seems
Brazil’s Central Bank raises the Interest Rate to 9.25% Important to keep an eye on $MELI $STNE $PAGS NuBank, etc.
