I am currently in Cash (USD), $WEAT, $CANE and $DBA. I think food prices might spike if we cant get fertilizers for planting season.
Welp, my port will be red tomorrow but still beating SPY. Besides oil, I am noticing the agricultural commodity etfs are up. That is, CORN, CANE, SOY and WEAT. I might play some.

#CANE SUGAR #golden in hue #crunchy in texture #if your FATHER didn't have a pot of CANE SUGAR for you to use on cereal #did you even have a father at all?
With news of Coke using real sugar, CANE is poised to blow up
Ya but people seek out Mexican coke, COKE CANE
WOW! CANE SUGAR ^(I suddenly forgot about the Epstein client list)
Trump says coca cola will use real sugar is US drinks now. Calls on CANE?
For the 37 people who downvoted me, don't forget to increase your general knowledge by visiting UNG CANE SOYB DBC Cotton... LOL
Soo god damn sugar futures (CANE) looking more bullish than QQQ after a big rate cut. WTF is going on here. SUCROSE FOR THE WIN... Gonna need to start beet farming.
CANE is a more popular choice for me
anyone else short sugar?? my $CANE puts are printing like cancer
I’m here to warn of the wrath of CANE, the bullish sugar market, and to raise the bid on CANE LMAO 🤌
The wrath of CANE cannot be stopped
USD ain’t deflating, nor is the average American and his voracious, slutty love of sugar. Long on CANE all day
I have 28 CANE 18C exp. 4/24, and am down 97% because there are no bids currently (but there will be)
Holding 28 April ‘24 calls on CANE. What’s y’all’s take on sugar moving into 2025?
If people stopped buying junk food, $CANE Wouldn't be climbing. The truth is the big boys are selling junk food stocks because they know that major lawsuits are coming after aspartame heavy industries and companies. And company families.
Feeling sour on sugar. Short CANE
It sounds like you asking for examples like "sugar" rather than "CANE, the sugar ETF"? But there is a big difference between having a pile of gold in your basement versus and buying GDX.
I'll definatley check out the chewing gum investment opportunties there! Great reward system for chewing gum! $CHEW for a private stay, and also $CANE x10!
More calls on CANE, sugar to the moon 🌝
$CANE under the radar parabolic
For the wheat one I used WEAT. I also have some commodity futures index ones. Since building a portfolio of futures gets tricky, the way their built can vary how they perform, so, they won’t match the spot price of the commodity if they’re built on futures. There are some commodity trusts that do actually own a building filled with the actual commodity and generally match the spot price, some gold funds for example, but that particular wheat one I used was all futures. I had originally planned on holding that position longer so I may not have used the particular one, but it still did well. Just to use the WEAT example, it’s a portfolio of wheat futures that are a mix of different contract terms designed to minimize negative roll from markets in contango. Some will be all front month contracts, some roll maximized, and there are more active managed futures ones as well. Different strategies for different needs in that realm. I’ve also used CANE, DBO and DBA when it comes to futures ETFs.
$WEAT $SOYB $CORN $CANE (aka $TAGS) and $DBB
Start a new job tomorrow and of course this railroad thing is happening. Fml. Gonna sell what I can and buy WEAT, and possibly CANE
Teucrium has ETFs for several individual commodities. CANE, CORN, WEAT, SOYB. TAGS is a combo ETF holding their other ETFs.
Various Teucrium funds: $WEAT, $CORN, $SOYB, $TAGS, $CANE, $TILL.
I typically diversify with holdings in CORN, WEAT, SOYB, COW, VEGI, JO, CANE, and other similar stuff. Never thought of ornamental gourds as a thing.
You need some of this right here it’s called #CO #CANE **KEEPS YOU SHARP BETWEEN THE *EARS***
I also think in a longer term $CANE is a buy too. But something that’s a shorter term might be like beef or other meat.
CORN, CANE, and SOYB. Also look into fertilizer companies like IPI, LXU, MOS, and NTR. Keep in mind, Intrepid is the only US miner of potash for supply chain disruption and fertilizer will be classified as a strategic resource within the next 5 yrs.
Been talking about this for a while now. Get ready for $CORN and $CANE - [YouTube Video DD on $WEAT $CORN and $CANE](https://youtu.be/jciF5UpyCAc)
Agree with ROBLUX calls. I have some penny calls on Rublux and for my surprise, is doing better than my CANE calls lol - and any of you parents, don't you get annoyed as hell by having to give their whole allowance in gift cards for avatars? Or am I the only dumb ass mother?
I'm doing research on the agricultural side of this... Apparently the price of fertilizer is up 40% so far. I don't have to tell you guys how much gas is going for these days, but we're about to see the costs of produce go through the roof. I have my eyes set on a number of agricultural ETF's, namely $SOYB, $CORN, $WHET, $CANE, and $DBA. The only thing that's grown that's failing is $POTX.
Leveraging all my positions and aping into RAISING CANE'S BB
You think CPI is gonna hurt SPY, but what about shipping and commodities? Examples ZIM CLF WEAT CANE CORN GSL SbLK?
Because everybody's been jumping into $WEAT lately, I've been taking a look at the structure of the fund, and I believe there may be a good opportunity here based on the NAV vs. market value; particularly when /ZW is locked limit up/limit down. "Authorized Purchasers" (the usual suspects, JPM, GS, Citadel) have the ability to create/redeem shares on $WEAT in 25k blocks at NAV. They do this by submitting a request before 13:15; the blocks are then created/redeemed based on the NAV at market close that day. Yesterday, $WEAT closed with a NAV of $10.21, which means it opened with a NAV of close to that since /ZW went limit up yesterday. If I were an "Authorized Purchaser", creating a block or two of $WEAT at NAV and selling them on the open market would be an (almost) risk-free trade. This would account for the precipitous $2 drop in two hours this morning. I suggest that, if this situation happens again, (or the inverse, $WEAT market value being significantly below NAV while /ZW is locked limit down) then $WEAT is an easy play for the day. If market value is significantly above NAV, puts on $WEAT. If market value is significantly below NAV, calls on $WEAT. Market value and NAV for yesterday's close is posted on Teucrium's website. I don't have any positions in $WEAT, but I will put one on and post in the daily thread if the right conditions show up on Monday. \*I suspect that $CORN, $SOYB and $CANE are structured the same way
#DAMN THIS CANDY CANE GOOD AS A MOTHER FUCKER it was only $75 for a pack of 16
Most direct way to play is futures. /zc /zs /zw /zo Can also use some etfs that try to approximate the latest contracts but they are pretty shitty and the options suck: DBA - this one isn’t horrible and it an overall agriculture etf CORN WEAT SOYB CANE Also can play commodities overall with DBC
Oh heck yeah. The sky isn’t falling. After a couple days to get more news and calm down, traders will realize that. Calls in retail, financials, materials, energy, and a commodity ETF (CANE, since Americans love they sugar). Not every wild movement today was an overreaction, but so many totally were.
I took the Jan 22’s with the intention of rolling further out if it’s still not up near 22-23 by the end of Dec. You can easily take LEAPS as well if you are not that active. This is a long term economic shift type play that I think will just continue to appreciate over the years to come. DBA also another good way to play the commodities without futures. CORN SOYB CANE WEAT are good ETFs to use as well
Some commodities like Lumber peaked earlier in 2021 and are now way down from their peaks. Unfortunately they seem too be stabilizing at a price 50% greater than the pre-pandemic price. IMO it's too late to trade these. Other commodities, specifically agriculture commodities (CANE, CORN, WEAT, JO, etc.) went up more slowly and are still climbing. IMO these can still make profits.
Delicious!! This man gets it. Can always profit off this inflation, guys.. its so easy! Long FOOD WATER , COFFEE, and OIL!! RJA, CORN, WEAT, JO, SOY, and CANE. Go for it, you cant lose.
Fuck Uranium, buy CANE and bet on retarded fat kids during an upcoming sugar shortage
Ive made a killing off $LAND and $ADM this year so far, Land is gladstone land corp which is basically a farmland REIT, and $ADM is archer daniels midland one of the largest grain processors. I suppose there was some money to be made playing $CORN/$WEAT/$SOYB/$CANE/$COWB (etfs based on commodity futures) but those tend to kind of stay in a channel.
basicly going sideways since 2018, I can truly imagine not being in $CANE
$CANE is the play, Sugar to the moon
Imagine not being in $CANE
No one talkin bout $CANE
Time to load up on $CORN and $CANE
$CORN gang represent, also $WEAT $SOYB $CANE doing well today
Lol forgot the auto mod… Use your best guess for the yellow kernels lol Other etfs are SOYB CANE WEAT
Some etfs are CORN SOYB CANE WEAT
What about WEAT, CORN, SOYB, CANE? Never mind, I'm sure food costs aren't included in CPI. Nothing to see here. Just Semi's and lumber.
Heh, yeah I've been looking at sugar also. The CANE etf is doing well but it also has 2% fees. Are you in it?
itm calls on $SLV,$GOLD,$CPER,$CORN,$WHET,$SOYB,$CANE,$COW,$MOO.
corn is hot!!! $CORN, $CANE, $SOYB.
check out the agricultural ETFS: $COW $MOO $LAND $WEAT $CORN $@SOYB $CANE - ITM leaps = free money if we see half the inflation they are expecting this summer. Might be a little late to get in on the precious metals, my GOLD calls are up like 300% in the past week already, but then again the price of gold is shooting up. But I know metals plays are too boomer for most people here. I hold leaps in all the above mentioned plus GOLD and SLV and had my best week since the last week of january when I yolo'd on GME. They are predicting shortages of many crops this summer, especially corn and sugar. Not as sexy as tech but I'll take a week of my portfolio being up 9% over down 90% like most people here have been experiencing.
I've been accumulating commodity ETFs and related miners, etc. WOOD, CORN, CPER, CANE, UUUU, PLTM, PSLV. Generally they've done well. And I'm more confident in them than the rest of the risky market that could fall at any moment.
80 of all american adults are overweight or obese. Calls on $CANE?
im long on $CANE,$CORN,$WEAT,$SOYB,$COW,$MOO , food prices gonna go through the fucking roof this summer even worse than last year.
These CORN gains are just obscene. WEAT, SOYB, and CANE on the same moon trajectory as well
im pretty jacked on MOO, CANE,WEAT, CORN, SOYB, ADM, LAND, FPI , DBA right now, commodities prices gonna be sky high this year.
There's CANE, SOYB etc google it
Calls on $CANE, $AQUA, and $BFLY
Anyone crazy enough to play Sugar ETFs (CANE, SGG) after the Baltimore Domino Sugar Factory fire today? Apparently the factory produces 14% of US Sugar Cane per year.
$CANE then water it down a bit
Keep talking like this and the CCC gang will form- COW, CORN, CANE
ELY, GE, SOXL, SOLO, CRM, anything steel. CORN, SOYB, CANE
PSLV CANE DBC Various shipping, railroad and mining stocks, too.
OP is 100% correct. I’m hedging these rising yields with $CPER , $WEAT , $CORN , $CANE
Which sugar ETF is the sweetest in your opinion, $CANE or $SGG ?
$CORN tracks corn futures so you can use that. I hold this, $CANE, and $SOYB from them.
