I mean IGV is like usually the ETF that refers to the software sector, that is barely green. At least some of the software names I follow are having a great day, stuff like: WAY, NOW, NET, DOCS, EVER, EXLS, TOST, PEGA, MANH are a few names that are all in the green today

r/stocksSee Comment

Exactly, and that's why I think the whole "AI kills all SaaS" narrative is way too simplistic. The vibe coding cost structure doesn't make sense for most enterprises, especially for mission-critical workflows where you need governance, compliance, and auditability. You can't just have some engineer maintaining a homegrown AI solution for your claims processing or customer service workflows when regulatory requirements change every quarter. The usage-based pricing point is interesting though. PEGA is actually already moving in that direction with their consumption-based cloud model, which is part of why their ACV growth is so strong even while seat-based revenue looks messy. Enterprises are spending more on workflow orchestration as they add AI agents because they need something to prevent those agents from going rogue or conflicting with each other. That's exactly the moat I'm betting on with PEGA - they're not selling seats that AI replaces, they're selling the infrastructure layer that makes AI agents actually usable in production environments. The cloud cost parallel is perfect. Once you're locked into a platform that's orchestrating your critical workflows, you're not ripping it out to save a few basis points. You're probably expanding usage as you add more automation. That's a way better position than selling per-seat CRM licenses or survey tools.

Fair points on the SI dependency, that's definitely a real issue with their sales motion. But I'm not looking for hyper growth here, I'm looking for mispriced cash flow. They're already printing $575M in annual FCF and buying back stock at 6x FCF multiples. The SI dependency actually might be a feature not a bug for enterprise adoption because it means customers are locked into multi-year implementation cycles with governance and compliance built in, which is exactly what you need for mission-critical AI workflows. On the Google point, they're trading at like 20x FCF vs PEGA at 6x. I don't see a lot of future growth with GOOG maybe that GOOG doubles best best best case in 5 years but I think there is a lot of risk they pull back. I'm not betting on PEGA becoming the next hyper growth story, I'm betting the market is overreacting to the transition mess and mispricing a stable enterprise infrastructure play that happens to be positioned for AI orchestration. Any other players you see in this space that you think are better positioned? Genuinely curious because I've looked at a bunch and they all have issues but there has to be a play here.

r/stocksSee Comment

They are bolting on an AI solution. PEGA’s issue is system integrator dependency along with services dependency in their sales motion. They aren’t going to ever go to hyper growth SaaS motion until they change this. They are one of many many players now positioning for this including google. Just port your money into goog.

I have partially exited cash gang just now but am holding more than half back. Probably will cash out again in a few weeks. $6k on PATH. Shares not options. 3k each on ADP, CXM, FRSH, G, PATH, PAYC, PCTY, PEGA, TEAM, CHTR, CMCSA. Mostly modestly-sized SaaS companies with a couple oversold telecom companies thrown in.

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

I went full cash on April 7th. I like to stay away from the mega-caps and typical SPY stuff. Bought the dip today on some beaten down software (mostly RPA, payroll, and IT ticketing stuff): 8k on each: FRSH, G, NICE, PATH, PAYC, PCTY, PEGA, TEAM. Not using any margin though. I'll consider it if dips much further. TEAM has ass fundamentals, but I see Jira used everywhere. Maybe now that they laid off a bunch of people they can coast easier. Who the hell knows.

PEGA, i owned this stock in the mid 2000s for quite awhile and during that time it didn't do much. Eventually i sold it for a loss at a split adjust price of $2. I know this has nothing to do with your pitch, but anytime i see this ticker it reminds me of just how unpredictable the future can be.

One thing that has worked for me, is not worrying too much about how much something has run, as long as the fundamentals support the valuation. I think so interesting names to look into: TOITF, spin off from CSU. Software is getting killed since there is fears around AI. Since it spun off, some of the TTM numbers look larger, but should be a great long term compounder. THR - it's up 30% YoY so a bit over. They are a niche industrial play. Valuation isn't too bad and it's a play around onshoring/data centers. SYF - Also 30% YoY, however fundamentals are pretty cheap. Pays a little dividend. They do a ton of store credit cards, like the ones for Sam's Club and Gap. They also do the financing for some brands. PEGA - Enterprise software company that is seeing explosive growth in the cloud. Valuation isn't the worst, but seeing a lot of FCF growth because of the cloud growth. It's also reoccurring revenue. Like they saw around 35% YoY growth in FCF. For full year, they are forecasting 30%.

r/stocksSee Comment

Yeah, I did some basic research a while on VEEV, so i'm by no means an expert. They actually popped really big after earnings like 2 quarters ago, since they are growing more than the market was expecting. I don't think it's a bad long term name by any means, just not sure how much of a homerun it's going to be, since software in general has been kind of meh, in terms of investor sentiment. Plus the competition and then the RKF stuff. At least rates going down should be helpful. If you are looking at software, I still like IBEX, PEGA, EXLS, I owned EXLS in the past, but no position now, but thinking of going back, since I do wonder if money will go back into software at some point. The company not bad for the fundamentals, just the market doesn't seem to like it very much. PEGA is seeing a lot of ton of cloud growth, which is higher margin and more reoccurring revenue. IBEX is just one of those obscure names I've owned for a bit, that you'll probably hear no one talk about, but is an awesome company. Company is starting to high revenue growth again and been buying back a ton of shares, on an already low float. All three of those names are seeing wins because of AI.

BWXT, PEGA and IESC are all better and safer stocks in my opinion.

r/stocksSee Comment

Totally. I mean before LLM's came along, a lot of companies where just using machine learning, but this where I think the money is going to be made with AI, helping companies being more efficient in general. IBEX, EXLS, PEGA are all seeing wins with helping companies onboard and use AI and making actual money from it.

Tesla is completely detached from reality as is PLTR. NVDA is optimistic but they are still in a strong growth phase. Some other stocks like GOOG are arguably cheap. MSFT recently grew revenues 18%. I just saw that PEGA grew earnings by 27% and COF had a blowout quarter and is buying back 12% of its stock. The top tech companies are investing $100B's in cap ex this year. There are definitely areas of froth and meme but the market keeps going up because corporate earnings keep going up.

r/stocksSee Comment

I think it depends. There is some nuance there. I do agree with you and I think the concern is with the VC's and the junk they are investing in. Stuff like Windsurf/Cursor. There's a ton of just bad junk out there. However, there are real companies making real money off some of the LLM's and just general demand for ML/AI in companies. For example with $PEGA: [https://www.pega.com/about/news/press-releases/pega-genai-powers-accelerated-q1-2025-results](https://www.pega.com/about/news/press-releases/pega-genai-powers-accelerated-q1-2025-results) >“Pega GenAI has dramatically transformed how we engage with our clients,” said Alan Trefler, Pega founder and CEO. “Pega solutions and our approach to AI enables clients to accelerate progress in reaching their digital and legacy transformation goals.” >“We accelerated ACV growth and delivered record free cash flow in Q1 2025, reflecting the benefits of the subscription model,” said Pega COO & CFO Ken Stillwell. “Operating as a Rule of 40 company allows us to focus on accelerating profitable growth while thoughtfully returning capital to shareholders.” $IBEX [https://investors.ibex.co/static-files/061b9eab-065a-439e-9e1e-5475aa956ed3](https://investors.ibex.co/static-files/061b9eab-065a-439e-9e1e-5475aa956ed3) >“Ibex returned to double-digit top-line revenue growth with 11%, our highest rate in ten quarters. Our growth continues to be driven by outstanding performance within our embedded base clients, new client wins, and our ability to drive innovative AI solutions across our clients. I am excited to report that our new logo team performed extremely well with four signature wins in the quarter for a total of 12 year to date. Importantly, we achieved a major strategic milestone in the quarter with the seamless launch for a leading Healthcare company in our newest location, India. Operating in this key location has been a strategic priority for our company and further enhances our client delivery options.” That's why I don't think the LLM's will be winners or the wrappers. Even with the Capex spending, there is just a ton of demand for cloud computing. That's why I think there is some nuance around this. If anything, I think quantum computing with the public companies are better example of something being a bubble than just AI.

r/stocksSee Comment

I think yes and no. Part of why I lean no, is that there are some real companies right now seeing wins because of AI. Stuff like EXLS, IBEX, PEGA are a few names that are seeing wins because of AI. Also, the companies spending on Capex have the FCF in order to support it. The thing is, data centers are integral to the internet and almost every company is going to the cloud, with most taking a hybrid approach. I don't think the data center or those providing will be real winners in the end, but rather, companies that use AI will see some gains in productivity as well as EPS with better magins. On the flipside, I think there is still a lot of junk that hasn't gone public yet that the VCs are backing, which are basically LLM wrappers. To me, that is where the biggest bubble is going to be with AI. We see VC's backing companies that are basically wrappers of LLMs. Like a good example is stuff like Cursor: They just go a valuation of like 9.9B, while it's a fork of VScode [https://techcrunch.com/2025/06/05/cursors-anysphere-nabs-9-9b-valuation-soars-past-500m-arr/](https://techcrunch.com/2025/06/05/cursors-anysphere-nabs-9-9b-valuation-soars-past-500m-arr/) That to me is where the biggest part of the AI Bubble is, the VC investing.

r/stocksSee Comment

Yeah, it's kind of a vague thing. However, I've pointed out that that there are a handful of SaaS companies that are talking about wins with AI and seeing increasing margins like IBEX, EXLS, and PEGA. PEGA had a solid last quarter, this is called out in their press release: >“Pega GenAI has dramatically transformed how we engage with our clients,” said Alan Trefler, Pega founder and CEO. “Pega solutions and our approach to AI enables clients to accelerate progress in reaching their digital and legacy transformation goals.” [https://www.pega.com/about/news/press-releases/pega-genai-powers-accelerated-q1-2025-results](https://www.pega.com/about/news/press-releases/pega-genai-powers-accelerated-q1-2025-results)

PEGA has historic high grade drill holes, only a few feet from surface. KING has consolidated 15 past producing mines that were small scale. Both can have good upside if drills hit. I hear your frustrations though, exploration plays can be hit and miss as you allude too. I will take a look at these OTC tickers you mention, they sound interesting.

Mentions:#PEGA

These three picks are absolute trash - the same junior mining pump and dumps and AI penny stock bullshit that's been flooded this sub for months. Let's break down this garbage: BINP - "AI Maverick Platform" is classic vaporware. They don't have real revenue, real clients or real technology. Just buzzwords and promises. Every failing penny stock is suddenly an "AI company" now. KING - Another junior copper explorer with "pending assays" that will inevitably show trace amounts of minerals not worth mining. Same story for 100+ other mining pennies. PEGA - "4km from a real uranium project" means absolutely nothing in geological terms. That's like saying your house is valuable because it's in the same state as a mansion. If you want actual decent OTC plays: KIDZ - Actually has real revenues from mobile gaming and esports, plus their new platform launches next month with multiple game studio partnerships already announced. AITX - Just announced $1.2M in annual cost reductions while still growing revenue 300% year-over-year. They're cutting spending on production while maintaining staff count, which is exactly what a maturing tech company should do. Both have actual products, actual revenue, and aren't relying on "maybe we'll find minerals someday" or "we added AI to our company name" to pump their stocks. But hey, enjoy watching those mining stocks crater after their next disappointing "assay" results.

I know this one’s not on here, but Pegasystems (PEGA) is Tuesday AH and I’m gonna get some calls on that. Last month they finished FedRAMP authorization to create secure “high impact” cloud systems for DoD, IRS, and three other government agencies. Suddenly, they have multiple job posting in the Northern VA area, for cloud engineers & vulnerability testers (which mentioned the ability to hold a security clearance). Even if their earnings aren’t outstanding, I think their guidance has a really good chance at being promising. It’s currently sitting at $68 with a 52-week high of $113, and if it gets a fat ass defense contract or boost, might make some good tendies!
