I would argue that bringing down inflation was NOT the central promise or attraction of the Trump campaign. Trump says or promises all kinds of wild things, and he won. Does that mean that the people support every wild and crazy thing he said? Obviously not. But people voting for Trump - and Congress as well - are not, by and large, putting fiscal austerity (the real "solution" to inflation) as their top priority. Sure, people SAY they want lower inflation. They also say they don't want to cut spending or raise taxes. How do you square that circle as a policy maker? You have to make decisions that involve trade-offs. What are the decisions being made by the Trump administration and Congress? Are they reigning in spending and raising taxes? Doesn't seem like it. And yet their base still supports them just as strongly, because austerity really isn't their top political priority. Being anti-immigrant and anti-woke is.

Wealth series is a fraud and was started because the SEC shut down the companies Reg A fundraising round, it is overpriced and will do much worse than any CFP that charges significantly less and is more adverse to risk. They will tell you the emerald alerts generate a 10% return on invested capital per month, that isnt true. Most of those trades end up loosing. An IRA is a Cash Account. Actually a very restrictive one since you cannot add money. But it is a Cash Account. I am approved for Spreads and that allows the trade. If have spread , which really everyone should be approved for, then it should be no problem except you must use cash to Buy the further dated Put. If you are just Selling a vertical you have the same issue and must be approved for Spreads. So I think you are getting bad advice. Just go to the Analyze tab and create a short vertical Put spread, if the BP is more than the width you do not have Spread approval. Everytime I call Schwab, I get some rube that is 2 years out of college and is clueless about , Buying Power for Options, Selling Options, how much Buying Power you get for Bil,Tbil, Sgov or treasuries. They always tell me they know ALL ABOUT OPTIONS, I just cut them off, and say I want the Trade Desk. It is difficult and they NEVER ACCEPT IT THE FIRST TIME YOU SAY IT. My Coffee Cup has a logo, "No More Mr Nice Guy" . Remember , it is your money , not theirs. Trade Desk is not really open until Monday, Sunday night will be crazy so do not call then.
