The big boys it’s SOL Some smaller ones TOKEN - low float RWA and doing what blackrock is going to do AERO - you know Coinbase is going to pump the hell out of coins on the base network. Also low market cap AIOZ - because it combines layer 1 and AI POOH - got in super early on this shitcoin and up 300% so far. Probably another 10x easy coming BYTE - another shit meme coin but is on 5 different networks. It’s still early and accessibility is important I feel like Coinbase being the monster it is is going to pump tf out of it’s network. It’s fast and super cheap too

Fees are not per Bitcoin. The cost to send 0.0002 or 80,000 BTC can be exactly the same. Fees in Bitcoin are per BYTE. Tx have metadata, inputs, and outputs. The metadata is a constant and the outputs depending on what you are sending and where. The inputs however vary. To send 1 BTC using 10,000 inputs (UXTOs) is going to cost 10,000x as much in fees as sending 1 BTC using 1 input. The cost in bytes of the metadata and outputs become effectively a rounding error. Right now at current fee costs and Bitcoin prices one input will cost anywhere from $0.40 to $0.80 depending on the address type. Lets use the average of $0.60. Obviously 1 input vs 2 inputs is a trivial difference in cost but moving 1 BTC that is spread across 20,000 inputs would be a staggering cost ($12,000 in fees). Most people though are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overthinking UXTOs. If you use Bitcoin like a normal human being it is unlikely to ever be an issue. A tx someday might cost you $8.80 in fees where if you had been a bit more efficient it would cost $5.20 in fees. Who cares if you are moving 3 BTC. On the other hand an extreme minority of people are setting themselves up for failure. There are loons who have taken the "not your fees not your crypto" slogan to such extreme levels they DCA and withdraw multiple times a day every single day for hundreds or thousands of days because god forbid that $23.80 in Bitcoins be lost if coinbase goes bankrupt in the next 3 hours. Those people someday when they go to move 1 BTC it will require a transaction involving thousands possibly tens of thousands of inputs and as a result a shocking amount of cost in fees.

I dont think you get my point. The bitcoin network uses a little more than 15 000 watts (!) to store ONE BYTE (this is because there are way too miners than needed) of text data of the transactions, and it is HARD CODED to only allow 5 transactions per second. This is not viable to use for banking. It also solves a problem we dont have, Which is there not being a single trustworthy bank on the planet. And also I get that you say that lightning transactions dont cost much energy BUT the upkeep of the network is HUGE.(detailed before)

Wasn't there a token BYTE as well? or DigiByte. Idk, but hey, yes If it's not ETH or Btc, it's just purely gambling for me

> https://ycharts.com/indicators/bitcoin_average_transaction_fee this metric is flawed for the regular user. Most tx I do is 1 input 2 outputs, sometimes a few inputs 2 outputs. No regular user is paying $2, that average is being distorted by 1. fiat price, 2. Exchanges doing complext txs that cost a lot. The real metric is SAT PER BYTE, which i linked to you and most of the time peoiple are pay 1-2 sats per byte (or 50% of the time). So your regular user doing normal tx's is paying 10 cents > I am for the $40-100 fee for ETH Uniswap. Wont that change with the merge ?

No???? There's one simple deffinition of a gigabit, a billion bits, which in turn are 1/8 of a byte. Im talking BITS and BYTES, they're different, 8 BITS make up 1 BYTE, so a gigabit connection is the same as a 0,125(1/8) gigabyte connection, which is the same as a 125 megabyte connection => 1 gigabit/ 1000 megabits are 0,125 gigabytes/ 125 megabytes.

Jesus, does it go off file size, like so many $ per bytes?(well so many ETH per BYTE) And I take it you have to pay for your minting via ethereum ?

You start seeing this euphoria around you and online. Everyone starts talking about crypto. Price targets coming out of people asses. Shitcoins pumping 2-3-400% in days without an actual reason. People keeping on buying shitcoins after they reached new ATH for FOMO. Go check coins like REQ, BYTE, XVG, or god go see what happened to CRED, something that was shilled around here all the time, or even ARNX lol.
