I recently got into CTX. It’s available on Coinbase. It’s the governance token for the platform Cryptex Finance. Cryptex Finance is a decentralized platform that lets you long/short the entire crypto market cap with up to 20x leverage. The main reasons why I chose this coin is: It is not on many exchanges yet. However, it is on Coinbase. Gives me confidence because Coinbase vets projects thoroughly before adding to their platform It already has a solid working product that allows you to do something you can’t do anywhere else. Trade the entire crypto market cap It has under a $10 million marketcap Only 10 million coins
What small cap coin are you invested in? I’m looking for a couple to add to the portfolio. Preferably a coin that is on Coinbase. CTX is my moon shot. Cryptex Finance is a decentralized exchange that lets you long/short the entire crypto market cap w/ leverage. It’s a DAO & CTX is the governance token. Only a 10 million MC & only 10 million coins. What small cap coin are you invested in? Explain why as well
I’ve been having fun with Cryptex Finance. If you haven’t tried it & do the occasional leverage trading, you can trade the entire crypto marketcap rather than an individual token up to 20x leverage. Just seems easier to me to call. It’s my 2nd day using it & so far it’s been great! It’s a decentralized exchange. It’s a DAO, CTX is the governance token & is available on Coinbase. Just throwing it out there because it’s a small MC coin (under 15M), but I do believe this is going to take off. There is no where else you can trade against the entire marketcap Anyway, idk if that means that CTX will be successful, but if you do leverage trading, you should definitely try out the exchange! If you don’t leverage trade, you’re smart & shouldn’t start lol it’s a guilty pleasure if mine, but I never gamble too much $ when doing it
Has any1 used Cryptex? It’s actually really cool. It’s decentralized perpetual markets. You can long/short the whole crypto market cap, which I have never seen anywhere else with up to 20x leverage. I know leverage trading can ruin you, so do it responsibly…but if you want to trade against the whole crypto marketcap instead of individual coins, check it out! CTX is the governance token. It’s a DAO. Available on Coinbase, if this sort of thing sounds interesting to you. I kinda feel like it will be successful, as you can’t short/long the entire market cap anywhere else. 10M MC, so it has room to grow Sorry for shilling, I just longed the market earlier today on Cryptex & was successful, so I got excited lol. I’m a degenerate, I know
r/CC Translator: Why is CTX down? Can the devs do something? I bought a bag above $2 but then it went down to $0.92. It once hit $3 during a pump and dump. It's going to pump now for sure. Would be great if you could all pump my bags.
CTX is the governance token. Thinking of investing, it’s on Coinbase and under 10M MC. Not listed or any other big exchanges, so I believe it’s an interesting young project to invest in, since Coinbase vets projects pretty thoroughly. And they have a working product
Post is by: Zealousideal-War6206 and the url/text [ ](https://goo.gl/GP6ppk)is: /r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ubvstn/what_are_governance_tokens_and_why_they_are_hot/ Governance tokens are gems in the realm of Decentralized Finance. These tokens are enabled on top of different protocols. These tokens empowers those that are holders of the tokens to govern the protocol. This does not mean that holders of a particular governance token can just make a total change to the project. Few things to note: * Governance tokens allows you to be part of the team to guide the project on its vision but not to bring a total change to the project or redirect the vision of the project. * You must hold a certain number of tokens to be eligible to vote or submit a proposal. You can't just hold some few numbers and try to pass a proposal. Every project has the number of tokens you will require to be able to pass a proposal. Mostly depends on the value of each token. -Some Governance tokens out there. ____________________________________ There are many governance tokens out there but in this post I will highlight only three(3) out of the many tokens out there. 1. Synthetic- (Snx) With a total supply of 190,075,446, Synthetix is a derivatives protocol backed by a native token SNX. In other to mint new derivatives that is Synths, usrs must stake at least 750% of the Synths value in SNX. 2. Cryptex Finance- (CTX) With a total supply of 10,000,000. CTX is a governance token that powers and secures the Cryptex protocol. Holders of CTX can vote on protocol upgrades for Total Crypto Market Cap Token (TCAP) as well as all future products within the Cryptex Finance ecosystem. 3. Compound - (COMP) With a total supply of 10,000,000. Os the governance token behind the lending protocol. COMP is earned by users for lending or borrowing assets. Comp is used to govern protocol decisions on the compound governance dashboard. It is interesting to note that both CTX and COMP has the same total supply but COMP has 2 times the circulating supply of CTX. But while CTX is trading below $6 COMP trades above $130. Comp is older than CTX. Cryptex Finance just celebrated their one year anniversary. Does this predict the future price of CTX? So if you hold governance token like CTX or COMP you can stake it and be involved in the growth of the protocol. Whiles you stake or lock your token you earn some interest on the locked amount. In bear market you still earn for staking your token. You earn passive income on the staked amount. -Governance tokens represents voting power on a blockchain project. You have some power to propose change and help the project win. -You will be involved in the forward progress of the protocol through voting. -You are in charge of how your investment should go. Think about the benefits of shareholders and have a similar idea of how governance tokens works. I will post more content soon. Bless. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I switched over some recent free cryptos to CTX. A lot of them seem stupid to me, but the idea of providing exposure to all crypto market could be interesting. Also the market cap of $30M is crazy small to already have a Coinbase listing.
tldr; Coinbase Earn is offering $3 in CTX for watching short videos on the cryptocurrency Cryptex Finance. The CTX token is an ERC-20 governance token that powers and secures the Cryptex Protocol. Cryptex is a DAO providing decentralized products for crypto users. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
ATOM, XTZ, XLM, or ALGO seem to be my insta-convert choices. For anyone else wanting to try it, at the time of writing; 0.37336652 of CTX converts to just 0.780768 of XTZ, which is below the 1.0 minimum required to send to another wallet. Whoops!
There’s a new Coinbase Earn for **Cryptex Protocol, ticker - CTX.** **Answer 1** : A DAO providing decentralised products for crypto users. **Answer 2** : An ERC-20 governance token that powers and secures the Cryptex Protocol. **Answer 3** : A complete lineup of fully decentralised Cryptex tokens all governed by CTX. *I know you have unlimited guesses I just thought I’d be kind and share my lunch money with ya.*

Good morning my Europeans bros, please make sure to check your Coinbase account to see if you're eligible for the new learn activity for $3 in CTX tokens. CTX - Governance token for TCAP - a token that tracks the total market cap for crypto via chainlink feeds - imagine the S&P 500 of crypto. TCAP can be minted from a vault similar to a maker vault. It currently trades at a premium from minting on sushi swap. CTX is also available on Gemini. NOTE - New fix lending/borrowing platform. Great rates for farming with stables and for LP on balancer. Coinbase ventures was part of the early seed round. It's my opinion that both of these have room to do a 10x or more. I'm invested in both.
Depends on the situation obviously. Got my sister into crypto over the summer right around the low point. She knows nothin about crypto throws down a lump sum and randomly picks BTC, SAND, CTX, and AMP. She's up almost 4 times now if not more. Honestly she's doin it the way we all wish we were. Just invests and barely ever checks the price. She didn't even know how much she was up until I brought it up to her. Most importantly it was just some extra money she had and she understood she could lose it all. But yeah that obviously worked out well. I've got friends who are big into gambling and sports betting so I never mention or even encourage crypto to them.
>TCAP (ticker CTX) gives holders real-time price exposure to total cryptocurrency market cap. It's a world-first, 200% fully backed, fully collateralized asset that’s both audited and accurately representative of the entire cryptocurrency complex by total market capitalization. Check out their website for more information.
