ELEN (NFT) and ADAX (DeFi, liquidity protocol on Cardano) are the worst performers on my portfolio. I try to counter balance my NFT/Web3 bag with other projects like DOT, QTZ, AR and HNT but it feels like the bear market is here to stay.

I believe that when you "take" profits it's because you have a much better option to invest (considering that you are not going to spend the money on something else). So you just "move" your profit from one asset from another. The problem is that people sell because they are afraid or because it has "gone up too much". But how much is too much? I'm hodling DOT since late 2020. The same goes for SAND and ETH. My worst losses came from tokens that I've sold too soon. I've got into some new projects on their token sales like ELEN and QTZ (both NFT related) that are going down, but I'm still hodling. I believe the real money is in the waiting and I should have never sold Solana at $80.

Nice and technical thread about Web3. I believe Web3 is directly connected to NFTs and Metaverse, so I'm going long for some projects like Web3 (AR, HNT), Metaverse (SAND) and NFT (ELEN, QTZ, UNQ). Based on your knowledge about it, what are your best bets for Web3 projects?

Infrastructure: AAVE, FANTOM, CAKE and POLKADOT. AAVE is a strong one. V3 and Arc are solid projects. POLKADOT is Substrate, an amazing blockchain with many important projects building on it that are related to many trends like Smart Contracts, DeFi, NFTs and Gaming (Astar, Moonbeam, Polkadex, Unique Network, GamerDAO). CAKE is hugely popular. I think it's the most popular decentralized platform right now and it's very powerful. I like to do leveraged yield farming on CAKE, VXS and KALMAR when seeking for more risk-return. Protection: It's always important to have a portfolio capable of generate passive earnings to rebalance the portfolio as a whole. Stablecoins are much less volatile and can generate good passive rewards like EURx (12% in Nexo) and USDC (14% in YieldApp starting March 1st). SwissBorg is also a good option. Huge platform and very well known. There are also good projects related to Web3 (AR, HNT), NFT (QTZ, ELEN) and Metaverse (SAND) that can't be left aside. IMHO, the development of Metaverse and the transiction from paper money to digital assets won't stop.

I believe work has already been redefined. Our grandfathers worked on factories and today we use computers and we don't even have to be on person at the work place. Metaverse has begun a long time ago. The key point is that it will grow much more fast from now on because many projects are embracing it. My best picks for metaverse are related to NFTs (ETH, DOT, ELEN, UNQ and QTZ). NFTs are an essential component of an open Metaverse. ETH still the king, DOT is growing fast with Substrate, ELEN is doing a good job by allowing instagram influencers to monetize their content through NFTS. QTZ is UNQ's canary network and already a parachain on kusama and UNQ aims to be a fully-deployed parachain on Polkadot.

I'm currently down, but I see no problem with this. I use TAA (Tactical Asset Allocation), so I hodl some altcoins for protection (YLD and NEXO mainly) to get passive rewards and reinvest them into my crypto portfolio. I've been investing mainly on DeFi (AAVE, AVAX), NFT (QTZ, ELEN), Infrastructure (DOT and FTM) and Web3 (HNT, AR) these days. DOT had a -80% for the LTM (Last Twelve Months), but I still believe the project and the power of Substrate. I've got QTZ (Unique Network's canary network) on the launch (8th of this month), but the price is going down also. Since YLD is generating good rewards from my USDC position and NEXO is doind the same for my EURx position, I'm using them to DCA, mainly for DOT, QTZ and HNT.

If you are starting now, I advise you to focus on Ethereum. Many DApps are being created everyday, so Ethereum still extremely relevant for all crypto ecosystem. IMHO, I would never go for 15 projects UNLESS you can keep track of them all. Can you? I have BTC + ETH (Main position) along with altcoins like DOT (nice Substrate-based ecosystem, growing fast), SOL (fastest blockchain) and important infrastructures like AVAX and FTM. I also hodl some Web3 projects (AR + HNT + UTK) and NFT related projects like ELEN and QTZ (from Unique). I advise you to do a good research of every project being presented to you here to see what you really like. I wouldn't advise you to go all in for Defi. This can be a good thing when you really understand the subject and realize which projects have more potential. Stay diversified for a while, but not to much.

tldr; Over 1.4 billion Instagrammers can now seamlessly connect to the Everlens NFT marketplace and turn their posts into tradable NFTs. The platform aims to be the premier platform for social media users to mint, buy, sell and showcase their NFT's. With the ELEN cryptocurrency as the 'main' token to fuel the marketplace, the platform allows users to seamlessly *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. My exit strategy is not based on price, but on fundamentals. Not only for crypto, but also for stocks. I am hodling AAPL and AMZN, for example, for 5 years now while many of my friends frenetically traded everything during this time supposedly, according to them, because there was a "bear market" and it was "time to sell". Now their portfolios are kind of a zero-sum game but somehow they still happy and advising me to "hodl". If I've done what they did, I wouldn't never have achieved the level of profit from AXS, AR, MANA, BTC and ETH. NEVER! I am also hodling DOT for a long time and next week I will be joining Unique Network (UNQ) public round. They will participate in the Polkadot Crowdloan this year. What am I going to do? Hodl. I just got into Everlens some months ago. There was a rumor that Meta (Facebook) was aiming ELEN's acquisition. What I did? Nothing. HODL. If, and only if, a crypto/stock loses its fundamentals... then I can think about exiting.

All in red here, bro. And this can continue since we are facing a "hawkish" FED. Rates can soon be raised to fight inflation and revive the job market. Of course this will have a direct impact on investments. But, what this changes really? I'm a hodler by nature so it changes nothing for me! But I'm excited: I still going long for BTC-ETH. I'll keep filling up the bag with good altcoins and I'm VERY bullish for NFT this year! I trully believe that projects like AXS, ELEN, YAY and UNQ will soon be benefited by the huge increase in NFT's adoption. UNQ it's an NFT chain for Kusama and Polkadot and public round is coming next week. I've read some rumors that Meta was targeting ELEN's aquisition and AXS can't stop growing! One more thing: I think that Jerome Powell, FED's president, should join our community asap. He could learn a lot from us.

Nice thread. I am not thinking about a number right now, but mainly about trends. Of course, I would love to achieve 1000x, but I think this is like a consequence. For now I just try to follow some trends like DeFi (AVAX, LUNA, UTK, UNI), Metaverse (MANA, SAND), Infrastructure (DOT, FTM) and Web3 (AR). I'm bullish for NFT-Metaverse-Web3 triad since the time I've participated in the online event "Enter the Metaverse", so I've got some NFT-relates projects as well to complete my portfolio like AXS, Unique Network (public round is next week) and ELEN (Everlens). I'm a hodler by nature, so let's hope for a 1000x!

My plan is always the same no matter if we have a bear or a bull market: DCA, Staking and join new potential projects. I've done it for Everlens (ELEN, already out) and Unique Network (I'm whitelisted, but the public round will be early January). This year of 2021 was a great one for my portfolio mainly composed by BTC, ETH and some alts. I will keep doing exactly the same and hodling a stake position of stablecoins as a "cash reserve".

Everlens ($ELEN) has no value and potentially a scam.

3 things were very important for me this year: AMA, Events and community engagement. I was searching for upcoming projects kind of by myself. So this helped me to HODL my positions longer. Bear markets does no frighten me so much anymore. Still hodling positions like BNB, SOL, AVAX and ELEN. I've learned a lot this year about NFTs and Metaverse and I've decided to join my first project since the beginning and got whitelisted for Unique Network (UNQ). I am also staking and discovering new projects. So my biggest learning was where to find and how to use good and relevant information.

You have a good point, friend. I come from stock market world, man. My mindset is long-run only. I have stocks positions in US, Europe and South America. I've survived 2008, 2015 and 2020. I\`ve joined crypto in 2017. If no bear market happened, I would not have the positions I have today with +200% profits and returning me 30% dividends a year (mainly the largest brazilian utilities companies). Crypto is no different. I still bullish for NFTs, metaverse, P2E, scalable blockchain, BTC and ETH (of course). So I keep buying projects like BNB (Binance), BTC, ETH and off the radar like YAY and ELEN (Everlens). I am not used to do it, but I've decided to join a token event to buy UNQ (Unique) earlier, actually one of my favorite NFT mkt places. So, for those seeking the long run... bear markets can really help to empower your portfolio.

Don't make me cry, man. Crypto is awesome and this reddit community is amazing! We are taking the risk and we will succeed. 20% of my sallary goes to crypto every month. After I've decided to join this community and do my research, I've got into many projects like BTC, SOL, HNT, ETH, ELEN, MANA and now UNQ public sale. If this community didn't exist, I would be buying government bonds. LFG!
