Sitting on a $76k loss currently Mycelial gallery NFTs - blew $40k+ trying to mint/burn all the gold frames when ADA was around $2.80. Can't even sell for peanuts on secondary markets, discord dead. Pretty much worthless.

Guys it's no longer a ghost chain. It is constantly at ~90% load. 3 Dexes (Sundae, Muesli, ADAX) are online. Multiple NFT's platforms are online. DEFILlama is showing a huge surge in locked assets. Despite it not showing staked Ada, because it isn't locked. Right now the only focus is getting EVM compatibilitx and increasing throughput. It's already up and running and perfectly usable. I personally claim my DRIP from Dripdropz every epoch

But I would prefer fundamentals and things done right the first time. Turn your eyes to Cardano, VYFI, Liquid, MELD, ADAX, PAVIA.....a safer unhackable chain, that doesn't buckle under congestion. You're not wrong. As a layer 1 it is taking forever for things to get going, but behind the scenes things are systematically launching. Cardano went from zero TVL to 100 million in a few weeks. ADAX, MELD, LIWKID, and MINIswap haven't even launched yet. Not to mention PAVIA. Scaling is also under way. Cardano in 2025 will be a beast. Good things come to those who wait.

Haven't heard about any of them apart from XRP haha. At the moment I'm interested in Cardano ecosystem coins. There are quite a few out there. ADAX is an interesting one but it's already quite expensive so probably too late to get it for cheap but the market cap is still only 31 million so yeah. GERO wallet is pretty cool too. Few cents at the moment and only 400,000,000 total tokens will be distributed. At the end of the day, it's just gambling really. But I'd rather fail on 8 out of 10 coins and hit jackpot with 2 of them when they do 20x or more. But still, buying during a bear market when everything is -95% is still the best thing to do. But you have to be super patient to do that.
I'll probably stick to ADAX and MuesliSwap for now.

Its kind of a big milestone, but kind of not. Two DEx already are operational, and loads of other projects are in the pipeline, ADAX is going live on 30th Jan for example. Its the most anticipated for sure. If it goes well it just demonstrates Cardano was right all along and eUTxO really is the superior solution. I think some minor bugs are acceptable in a new platform on a unique blockchain, but Im sure they will be over-publicised by vested interests for FUD. If it goes badly, it depends how. We know scaling of the L1 isnt finished yet, so if yhats the issue, well I get people being upset, but its a short term issue. If something fundamentally breaks, well its humble pie time.

Actually the 3rd DEx. Muesliswap and Meopswap already launched. ADAX will be the 4th DEx launching on Jan 30th, unless there is another one I missed, Cardano ecosystem is huge.
DEX is short for Decentralized EXchange. **So, no DEX has a fiat onramp.** You can try a CEX for that (Centralized EXchange). There are a few Cardano projects that are working on a fiat stablecoin (DJED, ADAX) but that would have to be traded to another interface accepting it.

Add ADA but not just for ADA itself, but to stake it on one of the ISPO pools that give you a second token like Sundaeswap or XRAY (you're late for MELD, sry). There's no lockups and you will get around 5% ADA per year + a valuable token in an ecosystem about to bloom and the possibility of double yield. Sundaeswap and others are implementing ways to add your ADA to a liquidity pool and get the staking rewards at the same time. Double yield. Also look into Cardano ecosystem tokens like DANA, WMT or ADAX

BTblock, the firm that completed SOL's audit, so at least they're an established firm. Just announced today they've completed the first half of ADAX's audit, and that it's ready for testnet ... I believe ADA will likely have multiple exchanges live by the end of Jan.

MuesliSwap has 17 assets listed so far. In fairness, I can say that I recognize 9 of them (DANA, WMT, VYFI, ADAX, MIN, XRAY, KICK, YAY, HOSKY). 10 if you count MILK, which is MuesliSwap's token. Not too shabby to start off with. Let's circle back to this conversation in another 90 days and see where we are by then.

The news I got from a Cardano project I follow today is: Briefing from IOHK call: - we are expecting information from IOH on a few matters like dapp connectors - we now have a direct line with them, on any matter - currently there is still no on-chain staking solution for CNTs like ADAX but they mentioned that it is not in the far future - PAB is still an elephant in the room, no exact date from their end was given other than what charles said in the AMA
This is an excellent point. An ADAX transaction yesterday cost me $4 on beefy / MetaMask. While still cheaper than ETH, this is way the fuck more than it was a month ago. I don’t remember what it cost then, but it was enough under $1 that I didn’t notice / care.

That's one of my favorite, kind of totally irrelevant, but maybe not, reasons for hoping ADAX will follow through on their promises and beat out SundaeSwap. Seems like SundaeSwap is a lot more communicative team and possibly is making a lot more progress, but they're finished product is going to be a bit lackluster compared to what some of their competitors are promising.
