$ADA Half this sub passionately hates it, but not one of them can describe why properly beyond that they hate Charles. Here's how it went: IOG: We have a new blockchain and cryptocurrency called Cardano. We're prioritizing security, decentralization, and scalability in that order. We're gonna be proof-of-stake eventually, but not at the beginning. Sub: $ADA is trash, no proof-of-stake IOG: OK, we have proof-of-stake now... Sub: Right, but $ADA is trash b/c it doesn't have smart contracts IOG: OK, we have working smart-contracts now... Sub: $ADA and its smart-contracts are trash... They need Haskell, and devs hate Haskell, which is why they have no projects like DEXes IOG: OK, we now have multiple DEXes, incl. SundaeSwap, MuesliSwap, Minswap, Wingriders, and ADAX... Not only that, we have a native oracle called Charli3 and stablecoins from COTI (Djed) and Indigo (iUSD)... We're also coming out soon with a sidechain (Midnight) that will let you use TypeScript, Rust, or any WASM-based language... Sub: $ADA is trash b/c Charles is a fat libertarian fuck who dared to point out that his chain has more features than the project of my biggest bags (ETH) TL;DR: Most of crypto, incl. this sub, is tribalist and only cares about shit when it's pumping... Nobody does DD, which is why half this sub lost money on Terra/Luna, Celsius, FTX, and so on... Someone who did their research should know that decentralization, open-source, and self-custody are king... IMO, the only "right" thing to do is buy either BTC, ADA, ALGO, or ERGO and store it on a Trezor, as those are some of the only coins that still care about decentralization

I was the shillee, he was the shiller. ADAX was.the coin In December 2021, he borrowed $20k from me to buy more ADAX when it dropped to 40c. He'd already bought $60k worth at between $0.68c and $1.20 He was very insistant it was going to go great guns when the first release dropped end of January 2021, never go below 80c ever again. Talked it up big, I got $1k worth. Small biscuits stuff. He locked his up for 6 months, staking it on ADAX.COM. By the time it unlocked, it was trading under 3c, it's now jumping between 0.003c and 0.01c. His $80k is worth about $1300. My $1k is $14.70 but I don't even have enough to pay the GAS fees to sell it 🤣

\>bot coping How many posts do you have in this thread defending Charles and Cardano? Let me be very, very real with you. Nobody is ever going to take Cardano seriously, no matter what technical milestones or achievements it professes to have accomplished. Nobody. It's so far down the pecking order of chains, that it isn't even discussed by serious devs. There is a point where you have to deliver, and Cardano has literally always been years behind the curve on that. As I have stated before, Charles is such a joke, that people would rather create an entirely new chain, from scratch, than work on Cardano. That's how bad it is. So you can keep coping @ me. But that's not going to change what is happening, and it's not going to change the outcome. And yes I did use Cardano. I used it to buy ADAX and flipped it for profit. I used a wallet called yoroi, and it was terrible.

Um ... Try again. You're description is how V1 worked, and ADAX only put that version out as a transition piece to satiate investors who expected a product sooner then they were ultimately going to be able to get an AMM model created, generally due to PAB related delays. It is now an AMM dex complete with non-custodial pools, however this V2 is still undergoing audit, so currently it only has limited retail investor added liquidity. Once audit is complete, the projects they have signed contracts with to add liquidity will begin to inject TVL. No expected date for audit yet, but definitely by end of July, so it should be ready to go in time for Vasil mainet launch.

That is not a DEX, its a CEX that only trades ADA tokens. >Based on an order-book model with on-chain swap execution and concentrated liquidity orders, uur developers have created a custom PAB solution, utilizing Plutus smart contracts to ensure full decentralization. We are also splitting each order into smaller UTXO’s, which allows us to avoid congestion and abolishes any concurrency related issues. That is what Binance does, except swaps occur off-chain, inside their system. DEXes based on ETH or L2 are concentrated liquidity pools, not orderbooks, you dont need someone else on the other side of the trade, you exchange directly with the pool inside the smart contract, the amount that you can afford. Im noy saying ADAX is bad, but its not a DEX, its a CEX that uses on-chain swaps, thats all. ADAX has to deal with concurrency using batchers, that is not decentralized at all.

That’s from Jan 1st 2022 though, so it will be surpassing the ones you mentions. 25K percent increase in 2 months is a rather large increase and prove its progress. Protocols that continue to contribute to the changing fortunes of Cardano’s TVL include decentralized exchanges SundaeSwap (approximately $112.28 million), MiniSwap (approximately $95.36 million), MuesliSwap (approximately $1.6 million), and ADAX Pro (approximately $14,060).

DEFI on ETH is great. Only 50 bucks to lock up your coins, 50 to send them to the defi wallet, and 50 to send them somewhere else. AND man, uniswap is great! 60 bucks for a shit coin trade, count me in. Only 7 mana to send 5 mana to decentraland, bargains galore. And wait, you can't predict the fees so you have to wait until a random time at 4 AM to swap coins? That's a plus. But rollups, and L2s exit right? With the same ease of use as putting together an Ikea bed in Chinese. But that staking though. Locked 32 ETH, so I can't sell or trade it....you mean you take my money and don't give it back when I want it. This is some future shit here. Open sea anyone? Another Swiss cheese network blip? The ole' ETH trial and error method I guess. oops 200 million? Try ADAX man, or even muesli swap. Sundaeswap doesn't = Cardano. ETH is becoming the Sony walkman of crypto very quickly. Cosmos, Cronos, and ADA are figuring it all out before ETH 2.0.

How was he right? Bandaid L2 coins keeping the network afloat. I mean, 2,500 dapps is insane. The TVL on ETH is unworldly. Cardano will NEVER even touch that kind of user base, that is apparent. But to think its this floating turd, and a bad investment is strange. It is a long play for sure, but it's not bad to have a fat bag of Cardano--the ecosystem is going to explode. MELD, LIQUID alone are novel concepts. The DJED stable coin blows away every pegged ERC20 stable created. It is stable--and risk adverse, and moves for cheap. The ERC20 convertor on ADAX is also unique. SOL is garbage right, that is a given. Who else will challenge the hegemony of ETH in the future? To think 1 project will always remain on top is absurd, that isn’t how technology paradigms work.

NO thanks. Hackable centralized network with outages and easily hacked by DDOS attacks, really? This is a good investment? SOL has done a wonderful job at rushing an ecosystem. But I would prefer fundamentals and things done right the first time. Turn your eyes to Cardano, VYFI, Liquid, MELD, ADAX, PAVIA.....a safer unhackable chain, that doesn't buckle under congestion. When Cardano scales (this year) it will be solid as a rock and blow SOL out of the water.

Haven't heard about any of them apart from XRP haha. At the moment I'm interested in Cardano ecosystem coins. There are quite a few out there. ADAX is an interesting one but it's already quite expensive so probably too late to get it for cheap but the market cap is still only 31 million so yeah. GERO wallet is pretty cool too. Few cents at the moment and only 400,000,000 total tokens will be distributed. At the end of the day, it's just gambling really. But I'd rather fail on 8 out of 10 coins and hit jackpot with 2 of them when they do 20x or more. But still, buying during a bear market when everything is -95% is still the best thing to do. But you have to be super patient to do that.

Its kind of a big milestone, but kind of not. Two DEx already are operational, and loads of other projects are in the pipeline, ADAX is going live on 30th Jan for example. Its the most anticipated for sure. If it goes well it just demonstrates Cardano was right all along and eUTxO really is the superior solution. I think some minor bugs are acceptable in a new platform on a unique blockchain, but Im sure they will be over-publicised by vested interests for FUD. If it goes badly, it depends how. We know scaling of the L1 isnt finished yet, so if yhats the issue, well I get people being upset, but its a short term issue. If something fundamentally breaks, well its humble pie time.

Add ADA but not just for ADA itself, but to stake it on one of the ISPO pools that give you a second token like Sundaeswap or XRAY (you're late for MELD, sry). There's no lockups and you will get around 5% ADA per year + a valuable token in an ecosystem about to bloom and the possibility of double yield. Sundaeswap and others are implementing ways to add your ADA to a liquidity pool and get the staking rewards at the same time. Double yield.
