I work in the solar industry. It's a rising industry which is far from perfect but there is already so much demand. Because solar already is THE cheapest energy source (problem is storage, etc). All you need is access to the top-end machines to mine and you're at the top of the food chain and also independent from energy suppliers. I see Africa flourishing. Hopefully they won't get colonized.

Did you see the new ESS batteries? They are making solar panels way more effective! They even have an ESS alpha for home use. With those crazy energy prices, I bet a lot of folks will go ESS + solar. Which will cause even greater deman for silver! And less than 20% of the silver used in electronics is recycled. Silver is like a utility crypto which is making a huge blockchain burn each year.

I like the idea of Metis (MTS) as one of the few I've seen but another one which posed this question I was also looking at is Essentia. I've seen ESS mentioned around but looking at it's history really made me think.

In my personal case, I bought some $ADA and also $ESS, because I always try to invest in something with future in crypto / blockchain, that may will solve a real problem or can be will apply in real ecomony. I recently got into Essentia $ESS. Recently posted the following in another forum as not enough wasta to post in CC yet. My deep dive with links below. Also ‘Crypto Love’ Just did a paid video on it. Thanks to whoever plugged it in here 🙌) Got super lucky, and since allocated some funds into some more sensible projects. However I wanted to take a punt at trying to deep dive a fringe project, DYOR and see if I can get into something super early. I came across Essentia ($ESS) last month and have been trying to educate myself (I’m rubbish at crypto tech hence I need some opinions). I joined the telegrams, Twitter, read info from the website looked at the roadmap, charts etc. From what I have gathered so far: - They’ve been around since 2018 - Approx. 13 Million MCAP - Circulating Supply of 1.419 Billion out of a total of 1.755 Billion - They have their own Masternode powered blockchain and native token ESSX - They have an ERC 20 token (ESS) which you’re able to purchase - They are currently on the BSC Testnet and launching a BSC ESS token any day now - They will soon be launching a Defi platform for ‘all things crypto’ including: > A wallet supporting 750+ digital currencies > A triple Cross Chain Bridge between ERC20-ESSX-BSC. Apparently this tech allows lower fee cross blockchain transactions > Cross Blockchain Transactions. From what I gather you’ll be able to exchange 750+ coins/tokens across multiple blockchains > FIAT On-ramp throw credit card > Lending and borrowing services - They will soon be launching an App with the functions of the dashboard - They have been actively pushing staking and their ‘1 click’ masternodes from my limited tech understanding about this: > For Masternodes, once you purchase ESS on Uni or one of their exchanges, you transfer your ESS and some ETH to their own platform. You then convert your ESS to their native ESSX to run the node. You only need a minimum of 100,000 ESSX to run a Masternode (currently just over 1000USD at the time of writing). You have to pay a gas fee to convert to ESSX but provided it’s kept under 200 GWEI it will be refunded to you by Essentia until June 30th > There are 2 Masternodes, Mars and Mercury. Mars required 100,000 ESSX and I think Mercury required 300,000 ESSX. Reward rates for the Masternodes are about 25% APY, but apparently this reduces as more nodes are running. > You can create these Masternodes with a couple of clicks (which I hear is much easier than most nodes). And you can shut them down instantly, take your rewards and convert it all back to ESS to trade. There is no lock in period where you don’t have access to your tokens. > You also don’t need to keep your computer on as I believe the Masternodes run on the ESS server (I actually don’t understand the tech of Masternodes enough to know the difference, but apparently this is a good thing) > Staking provides about 35% APY and it’s the same as above, you can stop staking and get your tokens back right away - ERC20 ESS is available on Bitfinex, Gate.IO, Uniswap and BiBox The team changed in 2020. Some people had concerns here but I think it’s unfounded, as they are transparent and super engaged with the community. So far they have been good to their word on their announcements, with imminent launch on the BSC, refunding of gas fees and new exchange launches. There is a super enthusiastic Telegram on which the Devs are very active. Over 5300 members at the time of writing. The team has been very active in promoting the project, albeit with a lot of paid promotion on YouTube. Again, I don’t have a huge problem with this as they have to get the word out about their project. As far as tokenomics go, there is a circulating supply of 1.419 Billion out of a total supply of 1.755 Billion. As far as token use case goes, I think this will come into fruition once the Defi platform is launched. The current MCAP of ESS is about 13 Million, which seems to me pretty tiny for a project of this potential. Token price seems to have found some good support around 0.01-0.011 after a couple of big pumps and looks set for another run soon, especially once the BSC ESS token is launched. I’m not too concerned about not making some money with this project. With their plans, and the fact everything seems to be coming together imminently it seems to be incredibly under valued, comparing with other projects. So that’s it, I did my best. From a completely uneducated crypto fool. Please have a look and see if I have anything here. There seems to be a bunch of people who think so. Essentia is refunding the gas fees until 200 gwei for swapping your ESS (ERC-20) to ESSX (native Coins on Essentia Chain). Once your own ESSX, you can deploy a masternode inside the desktop app in few clicks.

I’ve taken a punt on Essentia $ESS. Hugely undervalued with the projects they are rolling out justnow. Launching their BSC token soon which is bound to bring in more investors. Once they have their Defi ‘all things crypto’ platform up and running there is a chance for some exponential growth. It’s a great project with super active Devs. The project has been around since 2018 with some reasonable investment to continue developing through the bear market. Now, just as the market is taking off everything is coming together. Their masternodes are cheap, they are refunding the fees to set them up until the end of June (I think) and both the Masternodes and staking are offering great returns. Personally I’m looking forward to their all things crypto Defi platform. That’s when I believe the token value will begin to shine. This project is definitely worth a deep dive by the folks on here. Yes I sound a little biased as I own some 😂....but I can’t understand how this project is so undervalued. Probably just exposure in a market with 1000s of projects to pick from. I’m sure there will be some huge upward price movement once the ESS BSC token is ready.

Essentia ESS is up a fair bit in the past month, but still fairly tiny (15 Mil MC). They’ve been around a while and pushing staking and masternode the last couple of months. They’re covering the gas fees to swap to their native staking tokens until June too. Getting on the BSC this month and launching their next to no fee instant cross blockchain swapping platform soon. Honestly no bad choice there. You have good taste. ROSE is my pet for the long term. MATIC had good news and pumped a bit today but it could still go further. I feel like SCRT is overdue a good pump. LTO too. ORN (and similarly DODO) could have a distinct role in the future ecosystem. I had to look up ESS, seems interesting especially considering its relatively low market cap. Picking just one of these - probably SCRT or ROSE.

Long if, except the last in the pool doesn't pay for thoses leaving before him. Usually they do that be cause they need people to lock their funds in their protocol for a main purposes. Once reached, the vault APY go down to something a bit l'ESS variable. For example take a look at how SushiSwap 'stole' Liquidity From Uniswap.

I bought some ESS around 4 AM yesterday (the wisest time to buy crypto). It increased a lot and I pulled about 80% of my initial investment and still have a ton of coins. I would have done 100% but then I would have had some janky number of shares rather than a pure, clean power of 10. If you're interested... coinmarketcap, coingecko... their data on it is weird. At least weird vs the echange I saw with pairs (hotbit). The rates I get and see on the exchange are night and day difference. Let's go ESS... to a penny and beyond!
