Just something to think about. Realistically power will not be gone altogether, and believe it or not, the internet too would be reestablished in some or many forms that could interact with each other. Both electricity and the internet can be described as decentralized protocol. The central GRID could be completely decimated/useless whatever, but the ability to generate and harness electricity doesn’t change. It’s perhaps laypeople at first who live without it completely, but with the “know how” it was always possible to generate it themselves. Most won’t of course, but before long the new “leaders” of this new reality would established central electricity generation for their territory. And when you have power, you have computers that can turn on, and when you have that, you can use the same decentralized protocol tools that the internet uses (tcp/ip) to established connection between computers, and quite frankly at that point you can begin mining Bitcoin if there is enough excess electricity. The only thing that would truly put the human race in the dark for long would be somehow failing to preserve our knowledge and literally not having a way of how to do it again. That and maybe if we’re talking about the planet’s nature/climate being completely changed and pushed to the very brink of being uninhabitable.

Just curious : if “green energy” wind and solar are the future , why isn’t more crypto mining done using it ? And if more miners moved to more sustainable model not using existing GRID wouldn’t it be a win win for the miner. Meaning cheaper cost of kw/h and no more energy Bla Bla FUD.

Yea let's ban the future of digital gold and finance so a random sweaty hippie with armpit hair can go fuck a goat in his tree house and be happy with reducing like 1% of carbon emissions all while millions of houses, institutions, businesses and factories use THE SAME GRID that will STILL EMIT the very fast majority of the carbon in the first place. Sure makes more sense than moving the entire grid to renewables and reducing the carbon to 0% once and for all. Some people really need a brain transplant, IQ can't be lower than that.

No, people should invest in GRID+ and a Safe Card. Metamask is garbage and you should never trust it. But if you have crypto investments worth more than $3000, you MUST get a GRID+. And if we are talking about 100k, I would add Gnosis Safe to it too.

It depends on the style of your trading and the type of trading that you're engaging with. PRO tiers give you unfettered access to the entire 3Commas platform, whereas the Advanced tier will provide most access (with the exception of futures), but in a limited capacity. I.e. if you want to open more than one GRID or one Options bot, you will want to purchase the PRO plan.

Yeah, but that doesn't seem like it means they use a disproportionate amount of non renewable energy. What I mean is that it doesn't seem like a "fair" criticism of bitcoin in particular. If our GRID was 100% renewable, then bitcoin wouldn't be unclean, right? Someone using that to be anti crypto seems ridiculous to me. My reaction is to say "yeah, we should fix how we make electricity, but I still like crypto?"

>**Current Transaction Fee** LN. >**Average Transaction Time** Again, LN can help with this but only so much. End of the day there's always going to be *some lag somewhere for someone* because that's just the way the universe works. Even bank transfers, SEPA payments, etc. These can take anywhere from an hour to several days. In most cases, bitcoin is still a preferred alternative. Not to mention, that transactions are visible almost *immediately*, it's just the *confirmations* you have to wait for. Agreed, though, it could be considered an issue. Hasnt hindered incredibly so far, though. >Energy Usage Per Transaction Nobody cares about the energy usage per bank transaction, energy usage per gaming lobby, energy usage per youtube video, energy usage per starbucks latte... On the grand scale, bitcoin uses [greener energy than pretty much any other industry.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4NvDaMQs6g) There is a shit ton of wind, solar and hydro electricity going into bitcoin. Varying levels of greenness, for sure, but almost leaps and bounds above anyone and everyone else doing literally everything else. As far as im aware, if everything HAD to come OFF GRID tomorrow, no questions, if's or buts, then bitcoin would probably be one of the only fucking things left running. Dont forget a lot of the people who talk shit about the damage bitcoin is doing to the environment also use 4 cars to drive 2 kids 1km to soccer practice. >**Not Anonymous** Taproot expands on this, but it doesnt solve it.

I use a paid system with a variety of bot types. The KuCoin one sounds like a smart trade or GRID bot. They are a lot to manage on weeks likes these where things blow upper and lower limits a lot. But then the system I use has DCA bots that can be tweaked a million ways. Once you have one of those setup well you can kick back and let it do the work and then let GRID types play with your yolo coins. Idk you could build any strategy out of them. The free account is good, but paid is better. We split it in our family and we have already made realized profits to pay off the year in three weeks. I was running free ones before I got everyone on board lol. I can say the full paid account we got was worth every cent.

I don't know if this is what you had in mind but there are bots you can set up on what coin you do have. I know a 3commas free account let's you set up a GRID bot and a DCA bot. They can scalp small amounts of money from auto-trades. If you're looking for a way to add a bit of money to your portfolio on a continual basis, that's a free option.

In the classic GRID, the AI sets the low and high price to what it thinks the price will fluctuate. If you set a higher price limit, you need the pair to fluctuate between said limits and probably set more grids. That's why this kind of bot is better in a bear market/pair, because you can have an idea of the range the price is going to fluctuate and you take profits of that fluctuation. In my example, the spread of orders for 10 grids between $90 and $100 would be every $1, if you set the high price to $110 and the same 10 grids, the spread would be every $2. This means the price needs to go up/down for $2 instead of $1 for the bot to make an order. The bigger the gap ("space" between orders) the less the bot trades, if the gap is small, the bot trades more. In manual mode, you can change those numbers to increase or decrease the gap. When the market is bullish and you are expecting the pair to take off, the infinity grid bot is better, because it doesn't have a high limit, the bot continues well... to infinity. About the gains question, I believe you are describing a reverse grid bot. The grid bot buys low and sells high. If you are trading BTC/USDT for example, is meant to make you USDT not BTC.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I have researching the past weeks and this is what I understood about 2 types of bots. Hope this info gets you somewhere and also I recommend checking Coin Bureau video about bots. GRID bot: You set a lower price and a high price for the pair you want to trade. The you set the number of grids and the amount you want to invest on each grid. Your bot is going to need an X amount for both pairs to start buying/selling. So let's say a coin is going from $90 to $100 and you set 10 grids at 1 per grid. The bot is going to set \~10 buy/sell orders between $90 to $100 to either sell or buy 1 of whatever needs from the pair. If you set 20 grids, the bot is going to spread \~20 orders between $90 to $100. As long as the price keeps fluctuating between those prices, the bot is going to keep placing orders. If the price goes higher or lower the bot is going to stop. If it goes lower, you are going to keep the bag of the coin, if the price goes higher, you are going to sell the whole bag. If it keeps going higher, you miss the train. Good for bear market. Infinity GRID bot (Probably coming to KuCoin, right now I only now of Pionex) Basically the same as the previous one, the difference is that you don't set a high price. When the price goes up, the bot keeps selling a % of the bag that you set. When it goes down the bot buys the coin. The bot always tries to keep your initial investment, so it buys or sells whatever amount it needs, so you always have the same initial investment + profits. Good for bull market. More info about both here: [https://www.pionex.com/blog/pionex-infinity-grid-bot-v-s-grid-bot/](https://www.pionex.com/blog/pionex-infinity-grid-bot-v-s-grid-bot/)

NOW you have no means of getting your money and paying for things. I think its a secondary way of means of currency like physical metals.
