Exactly. The only reason bulls that hate bears is because they don't bother to short. I don't mess with margins but there are other options to choose from that won't put you into extreme debt. MEXC offers etf short positions that fluctuate x times the price that are still considered spot market trading. No meed to risk money you don't have.

I’d been interested in a couple of small cap punts lately, but have been struggling to bring myself to actually do it, after seeing the gas fees for sushiswap were $120 last week. There are smaller exchanges like MEXC, which might have the coins you’re looking for? At least that way it will just be transfers, which are a lot cheaper. I’ve never sent Tether anywhere (and I generally avoid using it), but I believe it’s on the Tron network, so fees shouldn’t be too bad if transferring it to some of the smaller exchanges.

YLDY on https://app.yieldly.finance/. Prime mover defi yield farming platform on Algorand blockchain which is a good layer 1 ETH and SOL competitor that hasn't mooned yet. I see good things ahead for its layer 2 rollups and YLDY is chief among those (think pancake swap/uniswap for eth). You can buy via MEXC exchange or buy algo and swap for yldy using Tinyman. https://app.tinyman.org/#/swap?

So I'm in the middle of using MEXC to buy Yieldly but honestly it makes me think there is a bright future for Tinyman. The whole process of buying Yieldly on MEXC was kind of a pain and it appears on Tinyman you can do it by just connecting your wallet. Seems pretty impressive

I'm a big Yieldly fan so I'll try to tackle the negative perspective instead. * It's young. That's great if you love risk, that's bad if you love risk. The platform has great security so that's not the risk I'm talking about. The risk lies in their next choices of partner ASA's for distribution. OPUL is a big hitter so it made sense to have them first out of the gate. SMILE is still a, "meh," sounding project so it doesn't help promote the overall perception of the project beyond establishing a track record of, "working correctly." The next 2 ASAs are Xfinity (some small scale Hulu/YouTube hybrid) start-up with very little info or hype. Both negatives in the crypto space. (Silence = Death) the 4th is ARCC which is a community benefit bounty program in South-East Asia. I've tried to get more info about ARCC but it really doesn't seem to be much beyond a mixture of Meals-on-Wheels + Boy Scouts + Salvation Army + Social Credit Score. I honestly don't know how to gauge it's, "importance." The early days of any project are always critical and it's a balance between, the constantly running hype-train and rest stops in Value Town. All it takes is a minor speed bump to disrupt that flow and it could easily translate into a severe price depreciation. * The earliest of adopters still have ***MASSIVE*** bags. When the project launched on DaoMaker, coins sold for $0.002 each. When it launched on MEXC (where most Non-American investors made their positions) it shot up to $0.006 where American whales took their positions) and currently \~$0.02 (where it is now). Many people incorrectly state that the $0.02 sell wall is some kind of last bastion for whales. It's not. We are still massively in the green and have the quads to still move the market as wanted. * The biggest payout currently is still Stanley Nickels. Staking YLDY pays highly ... in more YLDY. That's great as long as YLDY is still worth something. If it tanks then, (Infinity x $0.00 =$0.00) That's why its absolutely critical that the partner ASAs have reliable value. If Stanley Nickels pay Moldy Bananas instead of Schrute Bucks; it's all for naught. * The NFT rewards are cool but inherently worthless. I'm a big collector of cardboard crack so I know what happens when hype phases die. Don't pay $10k for an 8-bit NFT unless you already have a sucker targeted who will pay you $11k. * The long-term plan to turn Yieldly into an American Legal version of DaoMaker still has a massive legal hurdle to face in the future and there still isn't any actual plan on how to beat it. DaoMaker is illegal because of the technicalities of the token distribution for projects not passing the 4th stage of the Howie test. The exact same problem facing tokens distributed by Ripple and their current ASA partner distribution system. (basically it's fine until you get caught) given how tiny the project is, getting hammered by any form of federal investigation would take them out in 1 shot, they are riding around with 1HP.

Before today you could only get it on MEXC, but since Tinyman dex went live this morning, you can get it there directly by swapping Algorand for it from your wallet. The best of all is it's super cheap to swap these coins since the Algochain is cheap, unlike those scam fees on the Uniswap/ETH Network.

Just the way I like it. Haha. Tinyman is a Dex for ALGO swaps. Very easy to use. MEXC is an exchange site. People who stake Yieldy bought on MEXC, but now they can swap for it on Tinyman. Kind of like Uniswap for ETH?

You can buy YLDY on MEXC, and you can buy OPUL on KuCoin. Honestly, the best method might be to buy Algo on a mainstream exchange like Coinbase and then stake it on Yieldly to earn YLDY, then stake YLDY to earn OPUL. Yieldly has an ALGO > YLDY swap on their road map that you could then use to get them outright. I think that is due Q4 of 2021.

Agreed, one dollar is definitely hard to imagine, especially with more YDLY being released (Max is 10 billion). But I do consider the following: \- The current market cap is like around the 50 millionish, so there's a significant room to grow if the project becomes more popular. \- It's only on one exchange (MEXC) and with one pair (USDT), that exchange might I add is not even that popular, so I can only imagine what kind of volumes we'll see if it's ever listed on the likes of Binance, Coinbase, or Crypto\_com. \- This coin is not even 6 months old and not a lot of people know about it, yet the platform the team built is already pretty awesome. \- Speaking of team, they're very transparent and legit, they even got endorsements from ALGO. \- Its success depends a lot on the Algochain and I love ALGO's potential. With that said, a dollar would mean that it would need to reach a current market cap of around 3 billion, in today's popularity that would be a top-50 coin, which is definitely very doable, but considering that the max is 10 billion if all of it is released before it shoots up, it's gonna need a 10 billion market cap (That's top-20 coin today), which may seem like a tall order and it is, but there are always bull markets where things get out of hand. If Yieldly can reach the top-100 before the next bull run, I really like their chances of hitting the $0.50 to $1 range.

Hi OP: I've figured out how to add ASAs to my Algo web wallet, I think, and bought some YLDY on MEXC. But I have this lingering doubt: How do I know the YLDY I added was *really* YLDY? can confirm, it's a great time to dip your feet into yieldly if you believe in it after DYOR. last I checked that sell wall has stayed pretty consistent, but the main reason it doesn't crumble is because MEXC is pretty much the only place you can buy yieldly, it has one trading pair (usdt), and currently the exchange is small; if for example binance or coinbase listed yieldly, the sell wall would crumble inside of a couple of hours I bet.

Yieldly actually has an ETH bridge. So you could swap on metamask but honestly with the fees I would avoid it. I generally buy some Algo on Coinbase pro, then send it to the MEXC exchange and trade ALGO->USDT, then USDT->YLDY. Then I send my YLDY to myAlgo wallet I have connected to Yieldlt and stake it. Let me know if that doesn't make sense, I can try to explain further.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Right now the easiest way imo is to send ALGO to MEXC, then trade ALGO->USDT, then USDT->YDLY. I have been making purchases frequently and the entire process only takes a couple of minutes, and the cost of transactions is tiny.

I bought into Bright Union when they first launched in August. They are a DeFi insurance aggregator like 1Inch is for DEX. Roadmap has planned support for multiple blockchains and numerous protocols. The Q4 goal is point of sale smart contracts at the supported protocols. Also Q4, the DAO Treasury will take risk positions in DeFi and offer diversified risk funds for DAO members, offering attractive returns for minimal risk. Very early. I have seen their developments being released quickly and the dapp UI looks nice. So I'm hoping it continues and DeFi insurance starts to pick up growth bc it needs to with all the exploits and hacks. Market cap is under $2M and like $25M fully diluted. 50x-100x is definitely possible. MEXC just listed Bright a day or two ago.

Don't know much about hi Dollar, Harmony One seems cool and definitely could rise, but Yieldly imo is the sleeping giant here. It's basically riding Algorand's back and so long as ALGO continues to rise, Yieldly has that great potential for significant growth since it's still new and the cap is super small. Also their platform looks very clean, friendly, and easy to use, their only issue right now is it's a bit of a hassle to get it since the only exchange that carry them is MEXC, so it's not that convenient, but that's the point, YDLY is still in the very early stages and I expect significant growth if it gets listed on major exchanges.

Right now, my only small caps are FTM and YLDY. FTM has already pumped to a valuation that I think is "fair." I'm using the Market Cap/Total Value Locked (in Defi) metric - [check here](https://defillama.com/chains) \- right now most blockchains have a MC/TVL of about 3. **This should never be the only thing you look at,** but it's a good start and it's how I decided to buy some FTM around $0.20-$0.30. So I'm not gonna be buying more at this point, I'm selling/holding. I still think YLDY (DeFi token on Algorand blockchain) has good upside potential, but I'm not buying anymore because it's already a significantly larger percentage of my portfolio than I initially wanted (because it has gone up a lot). But if that weren't the case, then I would be buying at the current price of $0.02 or 2 cents. ALGO pumped, but YLDY didn't follow suit - actually it dumped! Maybe people sold their YLDY to buy ALGO. But hopefully many of the new ALGO buyers will want to use the Yieldly platform and drive demand for it. My only concern with YLDY is the selling pressure from the early seed sales that take 6-12 months to be vested. Currently on MEXC (only centralized exchange with YLDY) there is a sell wall of about 9 million YLDY around the $0.02 range. I think this is probably an early backer whose tokens got vested. So that's a potential obstacle. Right now YLDY has a MC/TVL of about 0.4-0.5, which for a layer 2 defi token is pretty solid. If you think Algorand will be a successful blockchain (I do), then I think it would make sense to be bullish on YLDY. If you don't, then it probably doesn't look that good. Aside from those, there's a lot of hype here around ERG. I haven't really looked into it much beyond the fact that it seems to be a PoW chain with smart contracts, which is interesting. And it had a fair launch which is very rare in current year. I need to look into it more, but I am considering buying some. I know it's cliche, but you really do need to do your own research. Why? Because if you don't know why you're investing in something, you increase the likelihood that you sell it at the worst possible time.

I put a chunk on Yieldy. It's been kind of fun. The daily staking rewards on Yieldy are more dollar-value than the daily ALGO staking reward you'd get in your wallet, but you can only trade YLDY on the MEXC exchange, so you have to ship around ALGO and USDT to swap out for YLDY which is a lot of legwork compared to just leaving your ALGO alone and getting more ALGO. But there's always that chance that the Yieldy platform ends up doing some great things and the YLDY token explodes in value, so maybe that ends up being one of those miracle 1000x microcaps.

I transfer Algo to the MEXC exchange then convert to USDT to buy YLDY. Then send straight to the YLDY staking pool

There's a roadmap for further LPs and such going forward. But yea, currently you can stake ALGO in the No loss lottery (NLL) and potentially win an ALGO prize, while also receiving around 10-20% rewards in YLDY (off top of my head). For YLDY tokens, which you can get on MEXC or as rewards for the NLL, they can be staked in the YLDY pool for YLDY rewards, currently around 30%APY from memory. There's also a no loss prize game attached to the YLDY pool where you get 1 ticket per YLDY staked and have a chance to win an NFT each week, while earning the above rewards. Head over to yieldy if you're interested in getting involved, it seems daunting but is pretty easy once you get started. Hope that helps you better understand 😀

Also, tomorrow they are starting an NFT prize game. There are plans for multiple lottery winners, and also, staking YLDY for different crypto rewards. Staking YLDY for Opulous (OPUL) rewards are in the works. I'm Staking 3k ALGO in the 'In No-Loss Lottery' & 58k YLDY in 'YLDY STAKING' Earning \~160 YLDY and \~.003 ALGO each day from the both of them.

BEEP. False! Crypto.com just opened MATIC polygon support, as well as for USDC. .1 MATIC fee or .08 USDC to withdraw straight to polygon! Otherwise, use Kucoin or CoinEx in the US. Both of those exchanges support MATIC withdraws direct to polygon and don’t require KYC. MEXC is another option with support for a few other coins as well! There’s more and more US paths into polygon as time goes on. Don’t need to over complicate things now. Buy transfer crypto on Coinbase (ALGO, XLM, LTC), send to polygon compatible exchange, swap to USDT/C or BTC, grab MATIC (or a polygon compatible token), withdraw to polygon.

If you do some research and like what you see I would recommend buying it from MEXC then staking directly with Yieldly on their website. Or just throw some Algo in the lottery and get some Yieldly for your efforts. But for sure check out there site and there sub. Then try to find some negatives about them because echo chambers are dangerous.

Rand labs created MyAlgoWallet, which is endorsed by the Algorand Foundation. To stake YLDY, you'd add 1)the asset to your MyAlgoWallet. You can then 2) stake Algorand in the No Loss Lottery which aggregates all staking rewards over a weeks time and then uses Chainlink to pick a random wallet based on the amount staked. All wallets staking ALGO receive YLDY tokens daily as a reward. You can also 3) purchase YLDY using MEXC(a no KYC exchange) it takes about 5 minutes to set up an account and you can send crypto there, sell for USDT, and then use the USDT to buy YLDY. From there, withdraw to your MyAlgoWallet and interact with the Yieldly app to stake your YLDY. You have to have a few ALGO in your wallet (<5 in pretty sure ) in order to opt into the smart contract. Currently the way to unlock those funds is annoying, having to run a node and then execute commands from it, but in September there will be autocompounding staking and it will necessarily require the old smart contracts to be voided, thus unlocking the funds anyway. I personally buy ALGO through Coinbase Pro and send it to MEXC to trade for USDT because the algorand blockchain is super fast and costs next to nothing to move assets around in (0.001 algo/tx) TLDR: add asset, stake algo on app or buy through MEXC, (you can also buy on uniswap and utilize the ERC 20 bridge on the app but whyyyyyyyyyyyyy so expensive!!), opt in to the smart contract, send YLDY to your wallet, connect to the app, stake, profit!

I would say Kraken, but I've just registered, so can't give you a valid review, BUT...so far I was very surprised with [**anycoin.cz**](https://anycoin.cz) (daily limit aroun 1000e without KYC) and **MEXC** which are not mentioned here, but I think they are worth it...

Since you're using MEXC , you can check VTHO and PLUG there too and more alts. Plugnet is more of synthetic assets creation to take part in DeFi protocol in safest and simplest way.

Try on MEXC, it shows it available to buy. You can either try your debit card, or you can buy ALGO on your exchange then send it to MEXC, swap ALGO for USDT and then swap USDT for VET. Please anyone if I am wrong. Tell me but this is how I buy YLDY. Basically the same process. ALGO is cheap and fast too so it’s good to test it so you feel more comfortable.

There are a couple of em. BXX - I feel this one isn't talked about enough should be. Already partnered with Visa, Tezos, Reef, RioDeFi and some others, and more coming in soon. Solid project with great tokenomics and use case. This ones a low cap gem and has lot of room to grow, and is currently traded on MEXC and Uniswap. FUN - This ones a gaming/gambling token. But asides gambling, it has proven to be very useful and an example of such uses is that it is accepted as a means of payment on Travala, and can be staked on Binance to earn passively. RAIL - A privacy based project that enables users interact privately with DeFi smart contracts. KUVA, SCR. The list goes on.
