I completely agree with you. You only have $2000 to invest, why would you put it all on BTC right now? Even if it 10x in a few years, that's still only $20,000. I'm in a similar position to you and I'm much happier to take a risk with new projects that I believe in. All it takes if for one to moon, and you can 10-100x, THEN buy a decent amount of bitcoin and hold it. So my portfolio now is 30% coins like SOL, LUNA, AVAX, and the rest in new utility projects recently launched in BSC/ETH. NFY, DYOR - I am happy to take the risk personally.
My critique of the current NFT market isn't about the fundemental idea of a "Metaverse" I think that actually makes perfect sense...crazy as that is to a child of the 80s...🤷♂️ My critique is that its all hot trash currently...the jpeg "Art" is trash, the current metaverse is trash both in presentation and experience, and how truly awful the peripherals are...yes, current VR tech is really amazing, especially to a child that grew up with such cutting edge, mind blowing videogames like Pitfall! and DigDug lol...but let's be real, the goggles are uncomfortable AF, especially if you wear glasses, and give nearly everyone a splitting headache after about 30 minutes. The graphics are fucking horrible, its barely better than OG Second Life, its incredibly boring, its buggy....its a garbage "experience" that the vast majority of the population is not going to bother spending any significant time with after the initial gimmick of it wears off We aren't there yet, not by miles and all this NFY shit that people are spending crazy money on will be worthless in a year or 2...Its essentially a game of musical chairs...just look at all the wash sales that were reported recently.... I do agree he threw some shade by dumping that NFY in such a scam way but we know going in he is not going to setup something for him to lose money that's for sure. Last I checked it didn't have any products ala Aave, Curve.fi, NFY, Muse, or Axion, so I'm not sure what I should be looking at specifically. I wrote it off as too specific because of Turing incomplete smart contracts, there's no way it will compete on the whole with Ethereum.

I have turned 800$ into over 5000$ in a few months this way. Rfox is not a shit coin, and is doing amazing things with NFTs over in Asia. WOWS may look like a shut coin but it's dev is well doxxed, well known in the crypto community, and has multiple tens of million dollar mcap coins under his belt already like NFY and BoringDAO. Theure utilizing NFTs in ways no one else is and is basically a magic the gathering style investment card game with nfts that have their own stats, upgrades, rarity..theyre SFTs which can hold other nfts inside them like a portfolio, and any defi option can be applied. Last two def shitcoins with no use beyond money transfer

You should look out for PAINT it is probably the next NFY it's a good nft project and it is deflationary it already x6 for the all time low however I think there is potential that it x5 in the next couple of weeks. The project just started 9 days ago so it is quite fresh
