Some of you on here are completely delusional about bitcoin and its place in the world if an ACTUAL world war started tomorrow. Stop huffing for a minute and look at the world, realistically. Also, if the US experiences another civil war in the next 10 years, yeah - that will cause Bitcoin to sell because people will SELL TO PAY FOR WHATEVER THEY NEED TO PROTECT THEMSELVES OR TRAVEL from a hot zone.

A ledar or similar devices are TINY. Easily stored and concealed. Not only that, you don't even need any physical evidence of Bitcoin. You could remember your seed phrase in your head and travel anywhere in the world with that with literally zero problems.

I know some of you guys don't follow news outside of crypto, so hopefully some of this will be helpful. The economy, and by extension of it your stocks, your cryptos, and even your real estate will fluctuate in value based on how confident and hopeful investors are about *future* returns. They're constantly making a calculation about the risk in holding cash. Okay everybody already knows that, so here are some current events that are probably causing your cryptos to go down (and your stocks, if you have any): 1) Joe Biden is *not* turning out to be the "norm-restoring" "adults-are-in-charge" president that people thought he was going to be. His presidency, and most of the people in charge of it, are incompetent. This is the *general* problem, and here are some specific problems. 2) The supply chains are not just magically sorting themselves out. The person who was put in charge of fixing this is a small town mayor who went on parental leave right when the slowdowns were hitting their peak, and who only just recently got back to work. This does *not* bode well. 4) Inflation is at rates not seen in 30 years. This means that the actual *value* of your USD is going *down* even if you aren't doing anything with it. This is HORRIBLE. Imagine holding some shitcoin, and then the founders somehow print a bunch more tokens for themselves. That's whats happening with USD. 5) Because of this, Biden's poll numbers are in freefall. Last week he dipped in to the 30% range for approval, and this morning, he is at 40%. These are catastrophic numbers for a president. 6) War is by all measures about to break out on at least 2 fronts, and possibly 3. Russia sees her chance to take back what she believes is hers, and Putin is putting that into motion in Ukraine. Troops are amassing in Russia and Belarus. The state department has put a level 4 travel advisory (DO NOT TRAVEL) on both countries, and the embassy has begun evacuations of families. Last night, there was a ballistic missile that was shot down over the UAE which was headed for Abu Dhabi, and it was likely from Iran. China keeps overflying Taiwan's airspace, and last night was the biggest of these overflights. China wants to take over Taiwan, and have been waiting for their chance to do so. If war breaks out in Europe, they will while the rest of the world is distracted. 7) Biden held a rare press conference last week, and he said he assumes Russia *will* invade, and that he will respond unless it is just a "minor" incursion. Most, including the Ukrainian government, who was furious about this, saw this as Biden giving Russia the green light to invade, which will kick off the other fronts. A nightmare situation. 8) This all puts the FED in a nightmare of a situation. If they raise interest rates, it will slow down inflation, BUT it will tank the stock market, which could (will) trigger a major recession. If they announce that they aren't going to raise rates anymore, expect a stock market/crypto pump...but even that might not work anymore. Confidence in the FED is gone, confidence in the Biden administration is gone, and the world is freaking out. People are tethering up. The outlook is not good. This is not financial advice.
