I personally hate their system for last stock purchased price average calculation. their system makes it intentionally hard to see P&L for realized and unrealized, I have to scroll through months of history that does not load right away and loads bit by bit so I can get all the data on all my purchases. Say you buy: 10 shares at 100 = $1,000 10 shares at 50 = $500 Average cost shows 75/share... so total invested: 1,500 Now the price drops to 40 and you sell 10 shares to cut losses and get 400 back. Under FIFO, Robinhood closes out yourlot (the 100 shares) for tax purposes. Your remaining position is now "10 shares at 50 average cost" because the 100 lot is gone from the books. This is super misleading to me,the screen now shows: 10 shares Average cost: $50 Current price: $40 Unrealized loss: $100 BUT IVE LOST 1100 of the 1,500 you put in (600 realized loss on the FIFO sale + 100 unrealized on what's left The app makes it look like you're only down 100 on a position you're actually deeply in your moms bed on

Really just ETFs... VTV, IVE, VLUE. RPV is sort of an "aggressive" deeper value fund. I just looked and I was SO heavy in tech and felt it was time to pull back. I had a ton of my 401k in SMH and S&P 500 market weighted ETFs - and they did very well (SMH in particular) , but I am thinking we may be looking at a pull back in tech and others. I still want to be in the market, but I have more downside risk with Value.

A large mix - which is another reason why I want to move to self-management. I want to heavily simply my portfolio moving forward. I originally asked for an in-kind transfer of everything, to which they advised not all funds can be transferred in-kind - one example being GSIMX which *can* be purchased in retail brokerage accounts, but it is an Institutional share class meaning it often has very high minimums and is geared to large investors. Then I asked if I could just in-kind transfer at least the funds I own that *are* retail funds such as IVE - which they advised isn't possible because the specific portfolio was institutionally designed with the specific % allocation between holdings. Meaning I can't just in-kind transfer the IVE out of the account because then the portfolio would not be "whole" in terms how it is intended to be set up. This means the only real way "out" is to liquidate, and doing so liquidates an exact % from each current holding to keep the % between holdings exactly as is regardless of invested amount. Kind of feels like I got trapped with this model intentionally...

SFY, IVE, IVW, are pretty much all the companies. I think SFY has a few different holdings. So, you could just reduce it down to SFY or a different S&P500 fund. Having international is fine. Tech is probably good long term however iShares does make a global tech fund that may intrigue you for this purpose. I don't know much about the factor rotation ones to be honest. Factor rotation is a viable strategy, but over the long term I'm pretty sure just a standard S&P500 find has beaten that strategy. What I do for my kid is take the mid/small cap weights of a total market fund but then increase them by x1.5. Over the long run the small cap value is fantastic and is great risk/reward. Over the long run as well mid cap blend is a perfect sweet spot. For my kid I have 58% SPLG 30% FMDE 12% AVUV.
