A few tickers for you to consider; most are "value" from a "I think the Friday close was a reasonable entry point" rather than low P/E or small-cap value but, FWIW, I have positions in all of the below. - LUMN - Lumen Technologies. Enterprise fiber (legacy phone line provider) that I think/hope is on a successful turnaround path. I first entered <$2 a few years ago and had been trimming a large position...but I picked up more when they dipped following earnings earlier in the month. I think this is a $10-15 stock in 2026. - HEI, Heico Corp. Aerospace/defense component provider that unexpectedly dipped following an earnings beat last week. Heico makes the components that keeps the Air Force/Navy flying, and I think they're going to continue to run with all of the military deployment activity. Every hour of flight time eventually translates to revenue for HEi. -TXT, Textron. Industrial/Aviation conglomerate (best known brands include Cessna and Bell) with a very interesting defense business; I particularly like what they're doing with drones. P/E still under 20. - VEU, Vanguard ETF- all World not including US. This (plus a ton of commodities) is my play on the US debasement trade. I also have EWJ (Japan), FLKR (South Korea), AFK (Africa), and EPU (Peru) as specific country/region ETFs. - NVO, Novo Nordisk. Huge growth as the first GLP-1 provider...I think they're oversold now as the market is afraid of competition. This is a recent entry for me; they're now at pre-GLP 1 prices, with a P/E ~10. All that said, I think value is hard to find right now...but the current volatility makes for a lucrative (but risky) environment for swing trading.

No position in TXT, but this is kind interesting around their earnings from this morning. I think part of the sell off is from their FCF looking to be lower this year because of their investment in the MV-75 Program. Still need to dig deeper into the company, but valuation isn't bad at at all at these levels. Blue Water who makes drone warships isn’t publicly traded yet. They are close to production. Saildrone isn’t publicly traded either and they just bolted on Lockheed's JAGM Quad Launcher missile system and anti-ship missiles to make a drone warship. I guess this will be a suppler and support play for the next few years with my war money. TXT anti mine systems, RTX radar systems, OII maintenance, HON navigation and defense systems, LHX automated payload systems, NVDA, well they are in everything, VSAT satcoms, OUST LiDAR systems, CAT Diesel engines that can run a long time without humans. No huge plays, but they shouldn’t crash hard because of the tremendous build up in the coming years, if we are in a so called bubble. Who knows.

I've been balancing out my tech exposure with lower P/E, higher dividend stocks. such as: \- Non bank financials - Prudential (PRU) trades at 7x forward earnings and pays a 5.3% dividend. \- REITs - Equity Residential (EQR) trades at about 15x FFO and pays a 4.3% dividend \- Consumer Staples - Kroger (KR) trades at 12x earnings and a 2.1% dividend (vs 35x earnings for WMT). \- Apparel - Kontoor Brands (KTB) (makes Lee and Wrangler jeans) has had quite a runup, but is still under 14x earnings and pays 2.6% \- Aerospace - Textron (TXT) under the radar maker that hasn't participated in the runup of the big aerospace stocks, despite having the contract for the Army's tilt-rotor troop transport aircraft. Only a token dividend, but less than 12x forward earnings.

Anyone else watching Textron (TXT)? Defense contractor with big contracts with the Army and commercial aviation. Trading at a 52 week low and a p/e well below RTX, KTOS, and LMT. Just signed a new contract with the Japanese military as well.

Mentions:#BA#TXT
r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

This is not true for everything, sometimes there are better opportunities at the moment, but money will still pile in eventually. Example: TXT obtained a 50-year program with the army, but relatively has barely moved since receiving the contract. If they are able to successfully carry out, there will be *huge* changes to valuation IMO. While the market knows what revenue is, it is hard (especially with military contracts) to know how they will play out. Once first deliveries occur to the army in a number of years, TXT should receive huge investment. Not that I know much about ACHR - purely making this comment based on you mentioning everything is always priced in. Think of pricing in as some combination of expected return * expected probability of success +/- some based on many other factors (future expected demand, other military contracts coming from the success of one, etc) While I believe the markets are pretty efficient, one cannot price in the largely unknown, and investors can be impatient. Also, as others have mentioned, short selling cannot be priced in.

My favorite is Textron (TXT). It is the biggest domestic player in civil aviation (Cessna, Beachcraft, and Bell helocopter), which should see strong demand growth, and they were just awarded the replacement of the H-60 Blackhawk with the V-280 Valor tiltrotor. At only 13x next years earnings, with a low debt load, this seems like quite a value.

100%. My take on fundementals is that it really is used for two main things, one to understand what price you are paying for the business and also the overall health of the business. In a lot of cases, sometimes the biggest issue with a stock is just the fact you are going to overpay for it. Like the company might not be in risk of bankruptcy, but you can still pay way too much and just never see the company hit that same valuation again. You still also need to look at the story and the tailwinds/headwinds for a company. Like that's why I like screening, I get companies that fit into what I deem a fair/undervalued price, but then need to look into the company and see what's doing. Compare it to competitors, etc. Also like to think about the big trend of things. Like I'm really bulllish on aviation parts. We've talked about it a few times. Like RTX talked about strength there in their earnings and then TXT announced this morning with solid numbers. Starting to look more into TXT actually, might open up a position.

Not a bad company, but they are projected to have flat earnings for the next 3 years. For the same PE, you can get GD, which has growth and is more concentrated in the weapons systems that are going to Ukraine. Or, you could get RTX on the cheap, about 12x earnings after the engine inspection issue and get not only defense, but a play on the recovery of civil aviation as well. JOBY is above the WSB limit still and considers a front runner. Vertical Aerospace and Archer Aviation both have substantial preorders as well. There's also a Chinese firm that might go up first since there's always a random chance china approves stuff first. BLDE is an existing air taxi service that will be a leasing target for non-integrated manufacturers. Finally TXT (Textron/Bell helicopter) is in the space as well for an extant, more established company. There's also some that are still private that might IPO or SPAC. Gambling stocks... To your first question. I do, I am a lawyer and work in finance and deal with the regulator, including the Bafin on a daily basis. So you should not be those kind of bald assumptions to try to strengthen your argument because it is backfiring. So I perfectly know if retail clients can open short positions. EU short selling regulation: [https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32012R0236&from=EN](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32012R0236&from=EN) From the Bafin too guiding you to the EU legislation: https://www.bafin.de/EN/Aufsicht/BoersenMaerkte/Transparenz/Leerverkaeufe/leerverkaeufe\_node\_en.html Obviously I am not gonna show you proof of shit as they are people's accounts and it is quite illegal to show screenshots of other people's positions. You can open brokerage accounts in several brokers in Europe as a German that would allow you to short shares. Not talking about CFDs or puts. Shorting shares. About the Bafin, have you ever dealt with the Bafin? You do not know how they would answer to him until he does go. This is not about any specifics of the tender offer ffs. His broker booked a position that should not be there because there were no shares to swap anymore.

Off the top of my head Rock Island Armory out of Illinois produces reasonable amounts of munitions (not just small arms) for the fed. As you mentioned with LMT they produce a wide variety of military equipment, who not only produce missiles and sats, but the entire F35 program. Of these large military contractors TXT and General Dynamics are part of the new army rifle and LMG competition, the 3rd SIG already provides the side arm, but is not publicly available.

Kinda silly to see LMT soar while RTX and TXT stay put despite significant overlap but I guess the market likes to be irrational at times.

This post is being locked due to the misinformation regarding e-signature providers. If OP can provide evidence that DOCU is the only E-Sign Act or eIDAS compliant solution available on the market, I will unlock the post. For anyone interested in understanding the legitimacy of e-signatures in the US and EU, you can find the text of the ACT here and various government interpretations of the Act. Off subject but I'm thinking of selling my LMT for TXT smaller dividend but much cheaper I'm just concerned about their debt to gain ratio

LMT was one of the first stocks I bought after the covid outbreak. Went to 400 for a while and then tanked. It's a long road back, but it'll get there eventually. OK dividend payout & exposure to aerospace, defence & space. Personally I think there's better value in: TXT for Bell Helicopter. They just came out with a new VTOL tiltrotor that the military will eat up. They're also likely to be a major player when/if drone transport becomes a thing. RTX for P&W engines. They supply LMT & also have commercial exposure with Airbus.

Up 26% on the year but it would be more if i didnt sell some gains to buy cool shit. If we compare pre pandemic crash though i was sitting at 165k and bet big on TSLA and TXT after the crash with a bit of cash i had left floating in my acccount. It helped get me to 330k. Legit changed my life. Im lucky as hell. I know its not much but making money happens alot faster the more money you have.

Lots of basic WSB plays here. Most of my retirement is in a spread play in the eVTOL industry. Players currently on market (not counting upcoming SPAC mergers) include dedicated players like JOBY and ACHR as well as mature aviation companies like Bell Helicopter (TXT). There are also geographical plays, EHang is available (China) and Volocopter should enter public availability at some point. Assuming any of the relevant players score major merger, or get to FAA approval first and/or operational first, we'll see an enormous first mover increase in value. Some of the EV companies are playing in this space as well.

Look at companies that are TaaS, they are most likely to be acquired in the next coming few months! I’d do the DOD package with GD, TXT, FMT, VRNS, MATX YNDX
