AssetLink’s Alpha version already enables asset transfers between HPB and Ethereum Testnet Kovan - in future it will allow the cross-chain transfer of multiple assets (eg. ERC-20s, NFTs) to HPB's faster, lower cost DApp operating environment. Sounds perfect for frequent traders.

Few questions: \- I have always had my doubts on distributed nodes quality: **how much does the average quality of the nodes affect the network**? There are some blockchain that demand certain minimum setup (ie. HPB). \- Is the question above reason enough to incentive the centralized choosing and setup of nodes by Algorand? \- Is Algo planning to allow distributed - permissionless nodes and reward them? It makes collision with OP's statement.
I always stay away from my portfolio during dip. Constantly checking out your portfolio can lead to HPB. Its always better to focus on something else and keep your mind occupied.
HPB is still far from its ath, I'd even say it looks like one of those projects that are over. So why would you buy into a project built on them?

yep, it's very difficult until the whitepaper drops, however you can do some "pre-DYOR" in preparation before the whitepaper is released so at least you'd be in a position to buy within minutes of the whitepaper being released. For example, get a feel for what people are saying on Telegram in the HPB Global community, purchase some HPB coin from an exchange so that you're ready to go, get a wallet setup, etc. That way, you can participate immediately, rather than spending hours scrambling around on the 19th trying to figure everything out while all the tokens are being sold ;)

I don't know too much about Nano other than the super speed transactions aren't actually happening on-chain afaik. That's a big difference between HPB and other solutions. Also - has Nano been sleeping? I thought I saw it in the Top 100 and price looking nice and bubbly in the last year? I don't think that would qualify it as sleeping. HPB's chart definitely looks like a long hibernation, even after a couple of modest blips ...
NEO was once Antchain right? The rebrand 'woke it up' a bit I think. Then the founders became more global blockchain investors than delivery agents - would that be fair? There might be a touch of that within HPB too...
BUX and HPB. BUX because they are the biggest neobroker in Europe, have a great marketing team and have a userbase of 2.5 million in their CFD apps network. Talented team, very good UI/UX experience and they haven’t even fully started yet (still waiting on Dutch Banking License for Crypto companies) HPB because I believe the hardware side is a very strong USP. With fast TPS, super low fees and the integration of the Random Number Generator they have a very strong case on security and dApp innovation.
HPB for me too! Great tokenomics, awesome combination of hardware and software and it’s already solved the problems the big coins currently have. I hope it’s just a matter of time before it really blows up!

Mytrade is a DEX on HPB but is fairly unique as it can also act as an AMM so liquidity won’t be an issue. Allows you to trade standard ERC20 tokens as well

HPB will see its own mini super cycle soon in my opinion. I cannot believe how undervalued it is (even with today's pump), and the crazy thing is it is not even speculation, the projects ecosystem is far superior to most block chains out there, their lack of advertisement has restricted its growth since the bear market in my opinion. People need to stop putting all their eggs in one basket by investing in the projects of today in the top 10, and perhaps diversify into the real projects which will rule tomorrow!
Nano is just a currency coin, it doesn’t do anything else. HPB is basically ETH 2.0 - but it’s actually here and working and people are releasing smart contracts and building DApps on its blockchain

The HPB blockchain offers devs an alternative solution to help get their dapp quickly up and running without having to rewrite their entire code. Perhaps one day it may act directly as a lvl 2 scaling solution for ETH.
There are competitors for speed that use pretty unique software algorithms, protocols, optimizations, sharding, etc but none that use hardware for speed and security which I believe is the gold standard. For random numbers, nobody wants to pay an oracle tons of money for this, it is free on HPB. Nobody wants to take the time to rewrite code either for something that might not work for them -- ETH is a great platform that is well established and being able to use code from existing projects that have already been written is a huge time saver.

There are a lot of great crypto projects that have been overlooked by the masses simply because of their current market cap and HPB is one of them. I'm a well-known dev in the HPB community and have stuck with HPB because the hardware is real, the speed is real, the security is real, the fees are tiny, it is 100% ETH compatible and the HRNG puts the icing on the cake. The crash of 2018 took its toll, combined with really poor marketing. The community have been complaining to HPB management for ages and we’ve finally got a Community Governance Committee so we can influence marketing decisions now in the Telegram Group

I still hold a decent amount of HPB. The tech is proven. Working projects in gaming, gambling, NFT.. No hype though. Yes it’s down from ATH but so was Voyager a couple months ago for example. I can recommend checking out the technology and working projects before just moving along..
I also love how the HPB TipBot in Telegram just lets you tip a Telegram username and it automatically creates a wallet for them which means they can start playing the raffle in the HPB Price Telegram (which costs 2 HPB a go). To me, this a perfect example of how easy blockchain exchanges could be made. It's a shame that most of the time we have to worry about downloading wallets and getting long alien addresses 100% correct.
It’s an interesting topic and I think that it deserves more than just a single-sentence response. Firstly on the ideal of “decentralisation” - Decentralisation is a spectrum rather than a fixed state. If a blockchain had one node, operated by the foundation who created the blockchain, then of course the blockchain could never be considered decentralised. However if that blockchain then offers an opportunity for an impartial, unbiased entity to operate a second node, then suddenly that blockchain has become more “decentralised”. People would laugh at you if you claimed that your 2-node blockchain was decentralised..... yet it’s a fact that a 2-node blockchain is more decentralised than a single-node blockchain. So at a high-level, the more nodes on a blockchain, the more individual entities that run part of the chain that must reach consensus, the more decentralised it is. Therefore HPB could be argued a five times more decentralised than Binance Smart Chain because it includes five times as many geographically-dispersed nodes. There’s more to decentralisation that just sheer numbers of nodes though. For example, is there any single entity that could “pull the plug” and turn off the blockchain if they wanted to? Could a group of disgruntled nodes come together to instigate a hard-fork? Could the blockchain be subject to a 51% attack? Could the network go offline due to a chain split? Then there’s other things to consider. For example, can the community supporting the blockchain have any kind of democratic voting influence on the nodes? Does the community have a governance committee to help influence things like marketing and promotion of the blockchain, etc. Like I say, decentralisation is a spectrum, not a fixed state, and also has an element of subjectivity. In some regards, a blockchain that is truly 100% decentralised doesn’t actually exist.
The fact that you have multiple shadow accounts to shill turns me off about the project more than anything. Before you try to refute this, you make it abundantly clear considering all your accounts post specifically about Waifu Collectible NFTs on HPB.
This is what drives most people away, even though HPB is very supportive of Ethereum and this whole space could avoid millions of losses in fees, while improving security and speed.
You should read the HPB Whitepaper, decentralization comes with flaws, forks, every node gotta follow, which are many at ETH. At HPB, every holder has the right to choose a node. Similiar to dPos, but the node itself has to hold up to the requirements, else Proof-Of-Performance wouldn't work.

The Blockchain Offload Engine Card is a custom made card for processing blockchain data. It’s the reason the blockchain can offer 5000tps and HRNG, but anyone can purchase the BOE card if they want to become a HPB node. The code is also fully open in their website
