People who picked up and held ATOM are feeling pretty good right now, we're up about 37% since the first of the year. The OSMOSIS DEX broke 1 billion in liquidity for the first time this week. If you haven't been there, take a look, there are liquidity pools up to 300%+ apy. While alot of people are seeing a dip, most of the Cosmos ecosystem is up substantially: JUNO, CMDX, BTSG, DVPN, AKT, IRIS, and IOV. LUNA is down, but had a great climb in Dec. It's really worth paying some attention to Cosmos in 2022.

That must be a glitch, starname (IOV) is a project in the cosmos ecosystem for making human readable wallet addresses, like a DNS for wallets. It's not up 5 million percent.
That was an error by Coinmarketcap when they added Starname (IOV). Coingecko had no such glitch nor did the charts on Osmosis where IOV is traded.
Someone on here gave me $1.50 worth of IOV a few months back and it's worth like $2.70 now!

Look up Starname. A naming convention one can apply to for designating a user to a particular name and the name will be applied to crypto transactions. One must apply for the chosen name using IOV as the native transaction token and designate various crypto coins/tokens to apply the name to any transaction using that coin/token. However blockchain it is in a very early stage of development. I tried to edit my account and add some coins/tokens to the list of designated coins/tokens to associated with the universal name but the edit would not be updated even though I had more then enough IOV tokens as 'gas' to perform the edit. AFAIK this is a very early development project.

Lots of them actually. If you check Cosmos ecosystem you can find many gems under $1 such as DVPN, IOV, IRIS. But im most bullish on XKI with mission is to connect cefi to defi. IBC integration is coming soon then after that maybe Osmosis listing. Price might appreciate by that time with lots of updates and developments coming.
I’m heavy into ETH as it takes up 80% of my portfolio but over the few months I’ve been massively impressed researching the cosmos-sphere. What they are doing is brilliant and their architecture is rock solid. Particular projects I love on their network is: OSMOSIS (dex is super slick which is slowly implemented IBC pairings) IOV (interested in their future plans), ION (just for scarcity and mystery) also their gravity dex is going live soon which is super interesting. For this reason, even though my main bag is in ETH, all of my side cash is going into the Cosmo arms.
IOVlabs = RSK = The only competent DeFi on Bitcoin provider. You can be confident that Greengage is worth a damn if IOV is involved.

I didn't know that IOV was behind RSK. That makes sense. I was a little worried that this investment was from a big fund making their first foray into crypto, but obviously that's not true.
IOV is behind RSK which is the leader in the Bitcoin Defi space. If they've chosen to invest in Greengage, that's a huge mark of validation.

No, that’s due to low liquidity and new market volatility. It just appeared today so be prepared for volatility as IOV is entering a new market, previously only available on Uniswap with a bridge to mainnet.

Osmosis Liquidity Pools are incentivized according to Osmosis governance. When the vote goes up then IOV-OSMO will likely be a pair that could earn some OSMO for providing liquidity. OSMO, ATOM, ION, IOV, SCRT, NEAR, REGEN OSMO: Osmosis airdrop was generous to me because of my commitment to ATOM previously. Early day staking rewards have been great and the AMM is nothing short of fantastic. ATOM: *The internet of blockchains.* Every comment I make about this is with heavy bias. I am an IBC maximalist and Cosmos Hub will be at the centre of it. ION: Total mystery coin. Low supply meme coin currently and I got a few from the Osmosis airdrop, have since bought more when the price is low. There are only ~21k total supply and it looks like a pokeball and that’s why I like it. IOV: Starname is replacing crypto addresses with human readable usernames. Cool stuff if you asked me. In all honesty I don’t like the new tokenomics though. SCRT: Programmable privacy. It’s as if Monero and Ethereum had a proof of stake(powered by Cosmos Tendermint) baby. SecretSwap is the only fully encrypted AMM. NEAR: Sharded proof of stake blockchain with full Ethereum dapp and token support while allowing ETH to remain the base fee. NEAR is also certified carbon neutral, which is appealing to me. REGEN: Essentially a proof of healthy earth blockchain. They have a partnership with Microsoft to offset their carbon emissions and recently announced a carbon credit sale to the Bitcoin F2Pool. My Cosmos and Osmosis validator Cephalopod is also running a validator there and I support them in all of their networks.

No actually. It flowed into better opportunities. I have only a small amount for testing bridges when needed. Mostly Cosmos; ATOM, OSMO, SCRT, IOV, IRIS Then over on Polygon I have a small amount of MATIC for gas to use Aavegotchi GHST and I have some NEAR as well because with Aurora and Rainbow Bridge ETH 2.0 is NEAR.
