The company is being uplisted onto nasdaq. Globalink facilitated the move. Globalink has sponsor shares that they were given & authorized to sell immediately. This is why there was so much fuss & the price initially shot up, but the misunderstanding (mine as well until I researched) was that there were no sponsor shares in the float. The play is to buy in toward the bottom (hopefully in the $.90’s but we’ll see in the AM after the market opens), wait for sponsors to sell the last of their shares, & then wait for retail & algorithms to buy into the small float. This has caused a squeeze on SPAC stocks previously (see TOP, SHPH, & GNS). The squeeze would (theoretically) last from the time between when the sponsor finishes selling shares & when the company files an S-1 that allows them to freely trade the rest of the float. I have ChatGPT scanning the SEC website for an S-1 filing every 15 minutes, as that would indicate that it’s likely time to exit. This is all based on my own research & postulating, so take it with a grain of salt. But go look at the aforementioned charts if you’d like to see what *could* happen. If the company files the S-1 prior to the sponsors selling off their shares, it could potentially squash things. We’ll see!

DD/thesis: ALPS should squeeze up sometime between tomorrow & next Wednesday. Sponsors are almost done selling off from the merger. Between the time that the Sponsors are done selling & the S-1 is filed, the supply will be extremely low & their sell wall will no longer be suppressing the price. This will be a similar progression to TOP/GNS/SHPH when they were Uplisted. NFA, just my theory based on research. The aforementioned stocks all saw a massive squeeze once sponsor sell-off was complete.

The only way to use them properly, is to have a large amount of capital, ON TOP of your intitial trade position, to cover your margin, and to ride out any big drawdowns. It's too easy to get liquidated in a split-second, with sudden changes in market conditions. A 10% downward move will liquidate you - its like 50% of your margin just vanishes from 1:5 leverage. It's great when things go well, but it's painful when its the other way around. Human Nature and greed takes over, and often people take on too much leverage, thinking they can make a quick profit. But once it turns on them, they dont want to close at a loss because it's such a large amount, so quickly - They desperately hold the posiotion thinking it will turn around - especially if you used up all your money to place the original trade -- If you have extra cash, you can ride that out (hopefully) but most people don't. They are over-leveraged - and they either get liquidated - or sell at a MASSIVE loss, to try and keep a tiny bit of money, and avoid being totally wiped out - its stressful.

You bought at the ER TOP. it was running strong from April to July. And that ER drop stopped exactly at the May support. Of course looking back, it’s easy for me to analyze this.
