Actually not really, the SPR has its oil storage in salt caves that need about ~70 million barrels worth of oil to stay structurally sound as the method of using water to displace and raise the oil to pump it, then dissolves the salt and causes the walls to become weaker. On TOP of that, the U.S military has a guarenteed right/access to 243 million barrels of the SPR, in the event we were to go to war as we would need enough fuel for national defense, and going under that reserve would have to call in all of congress and the department of war to convene and agree upon even going next to the limit. So at a critical point, ~250 million barrels are to be protected/saved/designated to the U.S Military ONLY (meaning no more drawing to suppress prices) and they also have to factor the ~70 million barrels worth of oil needed to keep the caves from collapsing while withdrawing.  This puts us a critical factor of ~320million barrels of a safety floor, because if the military where to go to a full scale war *cough*, and they happen to need all that fuel, they could risk collapsing the cave and losing 70 million barrels worth of their 243 million barrel ownership. So, with the SPR at 316.5 million barrels as of the last EIA report, (Department of energy updates it on Monday which is listed as less accurate, but its within ~1% of what gets posted to the EIA report on wednesdays) And later today we get to see if we are still depleting 6 million+ barrels like the past month, or only 3 million barrels or less like last week. Either way, we are in a functional critical state of oil reserves, and if we deplete to the near 250 million barrel mark, we will be in an actual physical critical state of oil reserves with no more wiggle room or oil price suppression from drawing from the SPR. They put 42 days left in the post for us being in the red zone, but we are already there right now in the event we go to war and the military needs fuel *cough*

So I did my screener experiment yesterday, my pick was TOP at 2.25 which is up about 10% since I picked it. No one in here called it. Not the biggest gain bet considering I have been losing a lot recently, that's a plus. Gonna try this for a week or two without making any trades and see how many I can win. Under normal circumstances I would agree with you that *he should face some consequences*. At this point though, I'm tired of starting from the top of the pyramid. I'd rather take every ounce of energy that would be put towards prosecuting him and having it go towards unraveling the rampant market manipulation and insider trading happening. Now on the "some consequences" part - violating an NDA is not illegal. He should absolutely not be arrested and tried for that. And as far as I'm aware, most government insider trading rules apply to senior officials. I am 67. Retired at 59. I noticed something I don't see people talking about much. Money makes money. I poured cash into IRAs, 401ks and Roths for years and years. It seemed like it was going to take forever. When I hit around 500k shit started changing. The money was making a lot of money. I kept throwing it in there. It grew faster and faster because the money was making money on TOP of what I was putting in there. Over the last 17 years or so I went from maybe 500k to about 2 million now (plus my house). Final tip: Don't borrow money except to buy a house.

In -99 tech bubble Capex get similarly hidden in "profitability" as the depreciation comes later. This is why Capex spender stocks got hit badly late 2025 because all of that spending is going to show as a loss for 5-10 years in their sheets. Investors have not been shown how these investments are going to be profitablee. So what you are actually saying 100 billion investments to datacenters adds 20 billion per year earnings ON TOP of the current earnings rises and that is absolutely not happening. Investors can see it is the -99s trajectory, where lack of understanding for this "new paradigm" where investments become magically earnings. Thats why they are punished and that's why the Capex estimations will not get executed. Unless the multiplication of earnings materialize rapidly. In which case you would get positive earnings warnings before quarter ends.
