It’s crazy that I’m seeing people compare USDC to UST… you guys understand what UST had as it’s reserves right? UST had crypto as its major holding (started to dump + Luna), which called a death spiral during the panic. USDC has 11 Billion in cash with banks and the rest of the 40 in reserves (Treasury Bonds) that are controlled by BlackRock. Out of the 8% lost in SVB, a good sum will be recovered by FDIC and distributed in the coming months. The hole will most likely be around 300 million, which can be covered by the treasury’s and their interest or through the help of BlackRock or CoinBase. Big whales like GCR (Twitter if you don’t know him) has moved $30 million USDT to OKX (An exchange) and is longing the USDC/USDT pair. When the weekend is over and people realize they can sell their USDC for $1. Everyone will be running to join in on the Arbitrage before it’s too late. Causing the peg to be secured.

influencer here. but anyone who knows me knows i’m not quite like the rest. i won’t say more. i know most of the influencers in the space. all the tg guys, (Eric, Skull, Noodles, Maythous, Kingdom, etc.) and im now meeting all of the CT guys, (LilMoonLambo, Cobie, Rhea, Gainzy, GCR, etc) there’s a bit of misinformation out there about just how shitty everyone is. i’ll refrain from fudding any of them, but i will point out some of the good in them. most influencers want to do right by their following. it’s how we retain our followings and keep from falling victim to the “callers cycle,” an endless loop of doing free calls then paid calls then diluting their brand until it’s back to free calls, rinse repeat. many go down a bad path, yes. and i think influencers are only a net positive because tokens don’t have better marketing options. if we did, i’d be in favor of ridding the space of all influencers, myself included. but then you’ve got guys like Maythous. Maythous has stayed at the top for over a year because he has integrity. do his calls some times fall victim to human nature? sure. he’ll get carried away or make a mistake on his DD, but he’s never made a call that he believed would be bad for his followers. he never does private sales, and he’s a hell of a trader. one thing to note: at higher levels people will always assume the worst. if, god forbid, you call a rug, no one gives you the benefit of the doubt or says “it happens, we know you did your best.” they say “he’s in on it. he knows the dev and he’s getting a cut of the rug money.” this is almost never true. i can name one, maybe two, influencers out of the dozens i’ve met who i believe called rugs because they were greedy or were super negligent on their DD. by and large, influencers are given a much worse rap then they deserve. that’s not to say they’re good people, but their cardinal sin isn’t greed.. it’s ego. most influencers priorities look like this: 1) ego 2) followers 3) greed anyway i’ve got nothing to gain posting this. believe me or don’t. tl;dr— influencers are shitty but not quite as shitty as people think

TLDR; The day the Terra Classic price (LUNC) hit its 2022 top, two of the best crypto traders correctly predicted the bull run was over. That was September 8th, when the LUNC price reached $0.000593 on Binance, and as of mid October LUNC is now trading over 50% lower, below the $0.0003 support level. If Light and GCR's LUNC predictions continue to play out - as they have so far - retail investors holding LUNC will stand to lose a lot. first bought btc in 2015 and eth in 2016, some things i realized over the years and stuff i wish i had done in previous bear markets: - survive, keep updated with what's going on during the bear. since you're here on this sub reading this after everything's gone to shit this shouldn't be a problem for you. my biggest regret after selling 25% of my portfolio at the jan 2018 top and bagholding the rest to zero was forgetting about crypto for a while due to the unrealized profits i lost - dca-ing blindly is an awful strategy especially during the bull run. a huge majority of this sub recommends dca-ing and it's no surprise that a huge majority is underwater. learn some basic TA, take a look at charts, have an entry/exit plan and stop bagholding alts to zero. it's ok to sell at a loss if the chart looks fucked - it's almost always better to buy alts that are already going up than alts that are lagging. think about the opportunity cost of your capital during the bull run. some folks missed the 2020-2021 bull run cause they decided to baghold nano xrp vet and other dinocoins while missing out on gamefi/alt L1s 100x'ing. - the tech is secondary. you could make an argument that the tech doesn't matter at all. how many coins with "game changing tech" have gone to shit over the years? #1 rule is price go up = good coin. price dont go up = bad coin. the fundamentals get better as price goes up. if you research a coin the #1 thing you should care about is its tokenomics - get on crypto twitter, follow cobie hsaka cred donalt jimtalbot ansem GCR etc. i wouldve done a lot better in last year's bull run had i been on twitter earlier - lastly, forget about your portfolio ATH. if you keep your portfolio ATH at the back of your mind it'll be a lot harder selling when it's obvious that the bull run is over. it's ok to leave some profit on the table

Btw it's quite a presumption to think billionaires aren't losing right now (they are... a lot) but at the end of the day they have thriving businesses that if managed well can keep generating wealth for them and are generally quite good at geometric compounding of their assets. To be honest, the way a retail guy makes money vs some mega fund or billionaire is quite different. If you really want to 'kill it' in this market like some of the folks you've seen recently (GCR's short on luna for example) you really need to have a crystal clear view of the market that is unimpeded by all the BS as well as a way to execute that view. Most people don't have that which is why the often-touted DCA or making small investments over time works best for them.
