They date/marry for power, control and money just like the Royals & Oligarchs of old. They can have x, y, z number of beautiful people on the side for their own pleasure reasons. The reason they don't marry or date these beautiful people is that their world basically requires you to build power alliances and strengthen your hand. By having someone who is just a pretty face as your partner (and not part of a powerful family or obscenely wealthy) it only weakens your position if they don't bring anything else to the table power/control/money wise. You just never hear about these "other GFs/BFS" because these temp people get x amount of money in their bank account and a monthly salary to do nothing as a fake employee at one of their companies. They are all doing it so there is no worry about "exposing" since the Husband and Wife are both enjoying the same power couple + extras arrangement. Normal people are almost pleasures to them or even objects not actual human beings. I have worked with some very very rich people and they quite literally see you the same way we see a new car/iphone or if you are very exceptional like a pet. They are proud of their ownership of you in whatever modicum of time it is but that is about it. You are a possession. Unless you are one of them status wise you will never be seen or treated as equal which is why they only date/marry in their own power class or they flit from fling to fling with people of no consequence as they don't want/require a power partner just a new toy.....

Maybe... but the problem is that what he says in public would likely be admissible in both civil and criminal court. His words can *absolutely* come back to bite him, especially if any evidence from discovery contradicts those public statements. I've heard it said that "discovery is a bitch", and when the lawsuits and trial comes, we might find out some more wild things that contradict what SBF has said publicly. Basically, if you're a major public figure, the company you run goes bust, and people are accusing you of fraud... you *need* to STFU and either stay silent or limit your public statements to facts that aren't in question. And also... it doesn't appear like he's been honest in his past statements, is being honest now, or intends to be honest going forward. He's picked a narrative (that deflects from the questions being asked of him) and he's sticking to it.
Yes, this really confuses me aswell with the many appearances and interviews he's been given out. I've watched all of it, and he really comes off as having an answer to everything and sticks to his point that he has CEO didn't have 100% oversight about the inner working of his organizations. I do wonder though every legal counsel should tell him to STFU and say nothing to incriminate himself (like all the other employees and Caroline do), but he's giving out 1 hr+ interviews with rather technical questions about the terms of service etc. which are really hard to answer in a way to not make yourself guility in some way atleast. Does he not give a heck about legal counsel? Like I get why so many people have fallen for this guy, he has this way of very calmly explaining very technical stuff even under enormous pressure. I can see a world where he weasels himself out of this because it's gonna be super hard to find any hard evidence of him himself defrauding people.
