Hate it all you want, but these are facts- - RH used his own money to pay devs to create Hex, taking zero money before release - RH paid to have the Hex contract audited ***FOUR TIMES*** by independent auditing agencies - RH has no keys to the Hex contract. It runs on its own, since the day of launch Is it a shitcoin? Yeah. Do the founder(s?) hold 90% of the supply? YUP. But its a trustless, audited, immutable shitcoin with no admin keys. Its vastly better than stuff like these other defi contracts with admin keys, no audits, terrible code, and took people's money to build something that barely works, and get "hacked." So the hate against RH comes from somewhere else than technical assessment.

YUP, this is what people will do. "Sure i'll take your surveillance money and spend it all on groceries." Soon a discount will emerge between 'real dollars' and 'fake dollars'. Anyone paying cash will get a heft discount. People with bitcoin will sell it only for the real stuff. Soon other people will realize that the 'fake money' they are printing is making 'real money' lose its value too, and the only purpose of non-cbdc money will be as an on ramp to bitcoin.

I moved away from my family who live in charlotte but its still drivable (1.5 hours) point is there is a way to make it happen just need to be flexible and not require location and be in the thick of the action.

Just like all currency, sure but I've seen more than a few posts here acting like talk of corruption and crime in crypto are not exaggerated or just plain made up by politicians pushing for anti crypto laws. There's some shady shit out in this wild west y'all, protect yourselves. I still think we as a community need to crowdfund a lobby group to have these laws make sense for the common people, because the only people seemingly filling that void are large firms whom I'm sure would just love to eventually have it so we have to go through THEM to interact with crypto eventually.
