i'm loading up on PDD on monday. thesis: 13Fs just came out and Li Lu + Duan Yongping added to their existing positions in Q2, where the quarter low was \~$73. assuming they did not have perfect timing that's an average of $81 or so. Norbert Lou also held his position. that means their thesis remain intact. at $85 i'd be getting a price that's relatively close to theirs

I also possesses significant % of AMZN, considering the certainty of its future are the most robust among mag7 while it's aiming for the dominant position of physic world backed by its massive and solid demand from its EC business. Speaking of noox/ DC-automation/last-mile delivery, they dont have to find new customers/facing competitions to share the cost while developing these new techs, but simply applying them to on-hand EC business in massive scale. The only thing is that it's evaluation is no longer as a bargain at 32x/PE. And when it comes to AI models, I dont think AI model itself will make too much difference since they would almostly be the same in coming 2 yrs. So I‘d not buy BABA especially its EC growth are not as good as expected whild CN economy are declining meanwhile facing the firece competition from PDD. Once again I'd say that AI model in China is super competitve which may not be profitable enough to model owners. On the other hand, company like PDD avoiding such an model competition is a smart move, and it possesses huge cash for future M&A is even smarter too.

I dont compare temu to Amazon. Temu has cheap goods and long delivery times on many items. Temu has warehouses now in the united states. I would say at least 75% of temu merchandise is junk and knockoffs. Amazon has more quality products and fast delivery times. I feel its comparing apples to oranges.  Amazon was 1st to market leading the market and still leads. Amazon vastly outweighs Temu in market valuation, with Amazon exceeding $2.5 trillion as of early 2026, while Temu (owned by PDD Holdings) is a much smaller, fast-growing entity projected to reach $41 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) by 2025.

I added calls on BABA, PDD, and BILI Today. I feel the recent pullback could be a good entry or an opportunity to add to a position. As for timing going forward, I'm bullish long term, so typically playing contracts that are 6+ Months out and roll them to longer dates as the position moves. Example BABA, I opened a new position today, Strike 170 Calls for September 18, 2026.

Chinese tech are predominately in China because it is 1 of the largest markets. US tech is just the same. You're just hand picking companies and calling it however you like. That's not how it works. I can follow and don't even need to name specific companies. Who owns most of the solar, battery, display panel, 5G and electric car global industry? China. When you talk about "China" it's just a few names you know. That doesn't even close to represent China. There are likely lots of companies you've never even hard of making it big already. If you got into the Pop Mart growth you'd have been rich. Labubu everywhere. That's not tech but then depends how you count PDD and Meituan really. US and EU do try hard to sanction China but outside of that in places like Africa etc China has been dominating.

Dude. It’s 80/20. China tech companies are generally predominately China. This is not false for the main part. The info is in the annual reports and yes, I’ve gone through a lot of them. Yes there are exceptions. I called out Tencent. There’s probably a few more. If you think I’m wrong, please enlighten me with more company names and % of revenue outside of China. I know Alibaba has Lazada (which they acquired) and has Ali-express. Compared to China, these are very small. PDD has Temu. It’s much smaller than their China business and is a lot smaller due to tariffs. Jd - errr mostly China. Some assets in Europe but small. Tencent has quite a bit of assets (typical equity stakes) in gaming outside of China. It also owns some stakes in other businesses. I see Tencent as most global. Anyone else I missed? Oh yeah - I accept bytedance has assets globally. But you can’t buy their stock. Meituan is mostly China.

I think we’re at least 20-50 years away from full AGI. So , AI is not going to eliminate labor anytime soon. Also, China is already moving away from most “cheap” manufacturing. So , in a AI + human manufacturing environment, it will still thrive for the next few decades, especially if it maintains good relationships with Europe, Africa and the rest of Asia. Coming to the demand side, Chinese domestic consumption is approx $10T per year vs US at $23T. Local chinese demand is also growing at the rate of 5-6% annually. This local demand will mostly be served by Chinese companies. AI is not going to replace the need for food, housing, medicine, transport etc. On top on that, many Chinese companies are already “global” - much of their revenue comes from abroad: BABA, Tencent, PDD etc.

I've gotten BABA, BIDU, PDD, GDS, Beigene, Autohome in my wallet and I have very high expectations for each single one of these stocks. I also have Chinext and MSCI China A50 ETFs and they've been performing greatly so far. China is bound to soon reach their 2020 stock levels, and go way beyond that. The PCCh has already stated they want their markets to be a favorable environment for investors and I'm buying that.

i would consider ford a value company, not a growth company since there is a good dividend. However, if you are just paper trading, yes. it is a good starting one. I know others that use value ones like Coca Cola and Pepsi for steady premium and dividends if they get caught up. here are a few others that have some volatility or growth ones if you want to paper trade practice for a bit while you chart things out: Tesla Sofi Coinbase PDD Nvidia AMD Micrsoft Meta Basically if it is a tech, fintech, or startup, that is where you'll have volatility. they can swing 2-40% in a day or more sometimes. the start-ups can move over 100% in a day on some things, i.e. penny stocks. depending on what you are looking for your floor for a csp a 10-20% mark is good for growth. A value might be 5-10% for the floor. but, you'll notice when while you are paper trading. i use to do the basement or fallout shelter level on some for csp or naked puts just for an 'easy' premium, something i still do at times... like i did nvidia at 50 P when it dropped to around 85-90 from 140. i knew if it got down to 50 a share, that is such a bargin, otherwise I got a few hundred in premium waiting.

The option flows are non existent, and then boom -- 8000 puts. Yesterday boom -- 16000 bearish calls. The stock is down 8% since Monday when I bought puts. Good. Following whales kinda works if 1) premiums are relatively huge, 2) there's little noise in option flows
