Same history in Argentina we used to have Australes (ARA) until 1991. The biggest bank note was 500.000 ARA. Exactly, strong teams and community really matter to any project, as well as a good partnership. I do know that ARA partnered with sushiwasp for liquidity mining, which you pool with USDC and earn 45% Apy . I bet strong foundations are parts of strong projects.

I have about 40% in both BTC and ETH while 60% is well diversified into alts. This is money I can loose or won't be needing for a long time. Alts I have include DOT UNI ADA MATIC and ARA(AraBlocks). All for long term.
DCA, stake, hodl and never sell is the strategy for me. And I'm well diversified. I have most my bags staked, staking DOT on Binance, yield farming about 5 tokens on pancakeswap, staking ARA in GYSR pool and Liquidity mining on polygon. I simply sell from the interest I get from these pools and never touch my initial investment.

We all came into the space for the money, but the tech brings the money and guarantees high reward on the long run. BTC, OGN, MATIC and ARA are my holds, but the major pick is ARA, a low cap that helps content creators to monetize their contents and works.
It's much easier to resist FUD and FOMO when you aren’t panicked/anxious/betting on something in hopes to improve your situation. It also makes it easier to make a plan and stick to it. I recently made research into ARA, their connection to RadTv shows that the project has a lot of potential to do well in the nearest future.
I believe diversification is safer and better, but I try to keep it real and simple. I don't keep more than 6 which are ETH, BTC, MATIC, SOL & ARA, a decentralized file storage network, building a new era of internet where all contents owners are rewarded. Who wants to have so much but have little to show for, imo.
I love your diversification except for the inclusion of SHIB, left for me, I'll replace SHIB with a more consistent project that not too many know much about yet, but are making good progress like ARA, that's got a lot of rewards for both creators and their fans

Well I won't totally agree with this if the person you are telling is also rich, introduced my friends to ARAblocks where we both monetize our content and farm ARA token on gysr with an APY of 46% and it all good because we are both rich and there's no room for hate.
Mine was ETH, I later bought ARA through a friend's recommendation, a low market cap alt with some pretty cool utility with a streaming platform. I just love the tech and the team behind it.
My biggest mistake was missing BTC at $35k and SOL at $80k when i had the money and the opportunity of buying. It wasn't funny seeing BTC hitting ATH yesterday, I'm never going to make the same mistake twice when I learnt about ARA, I have to buy more and farm yield it on Sushiswap to earn up to 45% APY.
Let's be honest here, as an investor, I should know without anyone telling me to do proper research before jumping into any project. If it looks legit enough, then i can go ahead and invest. Just like how ARA looks legit as the project has got a lot of reward for both the creators and their fans

I think most people would prefer staking but yield farming works better for me since it has higher reward returns. Like I'm staking on Binance and getting maximum 10% apy while I'm yield farming ARA and getting up to 46%, that's the difference right there.
This is very true, you can make money with blue chips aka large caps but you can make even more money with low cap altcoins, I can testify to that anywhere. Currently I have ARA(AraBlocks) VRA MTV and ZOON on my low cap list and I believe they're going to run hard into EOY.
Diversification works better for me. Splitting out between BTC and alts, not too many of them tho. My portfolio is like 20% BTC, 20% ETH, 10% ARA(AraBlocks), 10% SOL, 5% XTZ. The rest is share between mid caps to other low caps.

Life advice you're giving there OP. Resist the urge to FOMO, just DCA and relax. Instead of shitcoins, they're low caps with legit fundamentals that can perform as much as those shitcoins. ARA, ticker for AraBlocks is one low cap I'm accumulating now.
This is a perfect portfolio, buying large amount of low value coin is actually the best imo. Low cap alts tend to have sizeable growth. You might also want to a look at ARA, a low can gem that helps creators work together more easily by mirroring digital assets quickly, reliably, privately, securely, and without cost.
