That's all I'm here for - to make money. I don't actually care about the rest. If share price goes up -> doing well. Positive reaction -> goes up, Negative -> goes down. Look at any other retailer / similar company recently. They've all been doing amazingly. It was mostly caused due to market overreacting to tariffs on the sector. GAP +20% since ER's ANF +60% since ER's ASO +15% since tues (Er's) AEO +25% (jump on ER's) LULU +10% (jump on ER's) There are others up \~20-25% on ER's as well. However those are just the 5 I've been following. I haven't actually seen a single retailer **DROP** on their ER's recently. So... why would I expect lulu to? Often these jumps are due to some external variable - ie: macro correlations. \--- Well - turns out there is a reason for these massive share price jumps. The sector wasn't hit nearly as hard as anticipated (by, ie: tariffs). Investors priced the sector as if we were going into a recession - which we are not. Everyone overreacted. It makes a blanket bet on the sector a "good bet". That's why I bet on lulu. Sector has been doing very well (ie: share prices have been skyrocketing).

Most of the tariffs have been absorbed by the other counties by reducing their profit margins. This is to keep their exports stable and sales high while trade deals are negotiated. The tariff is a negotiating tool to force the other countries to DROP their tariffs on us. Sudden surge in value followed a slew of bots, I had THIRTY SEVEN fucking 'ORIS ORIS ORIS' posts in a single day with zero other information or DD associated, or else 'DROP YOUR <insert other stock that was trending volume> AND INVEST ORIS NOW! TO THE MOOOOON' was a good quarter of those. And even WITH all that hype noise, it's not even managed to exceed a dollar the last month with no reported plans for expansion or investiture from all that investment $$ into their own company to make it viable after the year long death dive. Then the companies reported revenue, assets etc, all in the negative, and...69 employees. Convenient. Last couple years chinese companies have been notorious for pulling hypefest rugpulls and telling foreign investors to go fuck themselves when the shell company caves, so I am definitely not touching anything like that. Maybe I'm paranoid, but patterns are as they are. Better uses for my money even if I AM focused on a growth cycle over my usual dividend maintenance I've been doing.
