Go look at those earnings and their health. 50% of Googles "earnings" were "gains" on investments like Anthropic. You do realize those aren't material yet, right? Even if the next round of investment in these privately held AI companies are FLAT to current value those earnings don't exist 3 quarters from now. That would mean Google earnings DROP by nearly 50% (also not any more real than reporting them as earnings now) - there are two letters in "PE". The P plummets if the E plummets - even when it is manufactured down as much as manufactured up. These are not the same as earnings from YouTube advertising increasing. I'm not saying it popped friday but I am saying it is a bubble and even a baseline understanding of the 10K's right now on top tech suggest pain is coming as the quality of the earnings slips. Do some homework and set in your stop loss so you keep going up if it is another 18 months - but to ignore the notion that tech makes up 70% of most funds right now - and to ignore the notion that a large portion of the 'earnings' are just a circle jerk, well, ignore at your own peril as they say. I'm not a permanent bear or anything. It could still have running room so I'm in. But I sure as hell have a stop loss locked in right now. I just keep adjusting the stop loss up as the market continues to go up so I'm getting my gains but protecting my investments.

That's all I'm here for - to make money. I don't actually care about the rest. If share price goes up -> doing well. Positive reaction -> goes up, Negative -> goes down. Look at any other retailer / similar company recently. They've all been doing amazingly. It was mostly caused due to market overreacting to tariffs on the sector. GAP +20% since ER's ANF +60% since ER's ASO +15% since tues (Er's) AEO +25% (jump on ER's) LULU +10% (jump on ER's) There are others up \~20-25% on ER's as well. However those are just the 5 I've been following. I haven't actually seen a single retailer **DROP** on their ER's recently. So... why would I expect lulu to? Often these jumps are due to some external variable - ie: macro correlations. \--- Well - turns out there is a reason for these massive share price jumps. The sector wasn't hit nearly as hard as anticipated (by, ie: tariffs). Investors priced the sector as if we were going into a recession - which we are not. Everyone overreacted. It makes a blanket bet on the sector a "good bet". That's why I bet on lulu. Sector has been doing very well (ie: share prices have been skyrocketing).

Most of the tariffs have been absorbed by the other counties by reducing their profit margins. This is to keep their exports stable and sales high while trade deals are negotiated. The tariff is a negotiating tool to force the other countries to DROP their tariffs on us.
