yeah this is where I'm headed. rough design: major hurricane landfalls (cat 3+ US mainland, or by damage estimates instead of category, probably NOAA's billion-dollar list), event window starting at landfall, split by whether it hit a major metro vs rural coast, HD/LOW measured separately from insurers this time. reporting lag is the tricky one. The rebuild spend might not move the stock until it shows in comps a quarter later, so probably need both a short window and a 60-90 day one. Anything you'd add?

For many years our newspaper had a weekly personal finance article by a guy who now has a syndicated national radio show on iHeart. In it he features a weekly question from the author to the readers: what is your best tip for growing your money? Over and over people said the best advice was to get LOW FEE wealth management with a FIDUCIARY. So thatโs the goal. When our retirement accounts hit the minimum for money management we plan to do that. Iโm maybe 20 years from taking out retirement. Iโve even investing in retirement since 2003. I have my eye on Vanguard because the fees are so incredibly low. If I could suggest a second thing: find a number of sources of good info on investing and personal finance, read, learn, make a plan, follow the plan. The plan is key. Gotta get those gains. And you donโt get gains accidentally. Plan intentionally. Work the plan.
Bro, take their expected earnings per share (for the year)...times that by a reasonable 25 P/E...and see what that number is....that is roughly what they should be worth per share in my opinion.SNDK is EXTREMELY UNDERVALUED in my opinion...if you take the low end (as per yahoo finance) they are going to make 137.87 per share next year...times that by 25 and you get = 3446.75 per share....THAT IS THE LOW END FOR NEXT YEAR>>>>>2028 going to be even higher bro!

Yeah, it is on sale. But over the last 5 years the low is LOW and the high is okay - it's fine to hang on to and buy during certain times of the year and sell before the dip. I don't personally enjoy that lifestyle.
