ABC News Breaking: "The credit rating agency known as Moody's, which recently downgraded the credit of the United States Friday, had its headquarters today in New York attacked today. Sources report a single missile struck the building where Moody's resides in. A spokesperson from the United States government speaking on the record said, "At 5pm ET, an MQ-9 Reaper launched one AGM-114 Hellfire missiles at Moody. We had reports that this Moody, if that is his real name, was a member of the gang MS-13. ICE agents were apprehensive about a show of force in 7 World Trader Center, so we decided to minimize causalities with a missile designed for anti-armor use. As you can see here, this Moody had on him an MS-13 tattoo, meaning he was a terrorist." When questioned about Moody not being a person, but an agency, the White House doubled down and simply said, "What outlet are you with? ABC? Yeah they are nasty, nasty people." As the strike occurred on a weekend, causalities were at a minimum, but five are reported dead, and hundreds injured in, and outside of the building. The New York mayor has briefly released a comment about this being "Trump's 9/11", and begged the question, "How could the US military attack the World Trade Center, again?" raising the question, what did the mayor mean by "again?" More on this and other stories, follow ABC for the latest on drone strikes in your neighborhood."

I can’t reconcile what I’m reading here with stories like this - https://apple.news/AA46WRblnTLCu5lM_m6-4MQ How is it possible for Chump to destroy the economy and still be popular as ever? \> Fuck I hate reddit r/AskEconomics is the only place here that has economic discussions on in depth topics that I like. You might like it if you've never visited before. \> What are you comparing the U.S. and Europe to that demonstrates that they performed better than they would’ve in a free market? I was moreso saying its kind of an oxymoron. The most successful countries run tax rates between 8-50% depending on sector, and if its an income/sales or some other tax. Running a country as a Free Market seems kind of infeasible in an absolute understanding of free market, as you'd have next to no tax base, and no government programs like education and defense. I suppose some places are more free market than others. Would you rather have a Singapore like economy? \> And regulations inherently infringe on rights. It would depend on the regulation. Who's rights is child labor standard regulation infringing on? The right's of the employer or the rights of the child? \> Monopolies and oligopolies (including standard oil\*) are only created via state intervention. We don’t need government to “break them up,” we just need government to stop propping them up. There are many reasons why monopolies could arise both with and without government intervention. Without government intervention, monopolies tend to be the most efficient. For example, a large retailer would probably keep buying out their competition, sell products at below the market rate to drive competitors out, and pay the lowest wages allowed in the market. Once a monopoly is formed the most efficient way to make money is to raise prices higher. If a new competitor rises up, which becomes harder over time due to economies of scale, then you just repeat the above.
Cartel hasn't had the balls to touch the 7th Special Forces Group bois already on ground in Mexico that has been publicized in the news. Nor the CIA people that have been running these operations back into the Biden administration. Those MQ-9 Reapers loitering overhead can splat them with some Hellfires.
hmmm. this is not unture. This is very much ture. However, I don't think the current administration is the nail in the coffin for US "attack" stocks that everybody think it is. US equipment is the best yes, but it's exceedngly expensive, to the point where it's price to performance is laughbly bad. Good example is the turkish bayraktar drone. It's \~5M USD a piece, while US made General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper is guesstimated to be 33 million US. Even if the Reaper is 4x better, it's still over 7x more expensive, and it's just one example and i'm sure MANY could be drawn. Now the argument could be made, no exepnese should be spared for attack capablities, the fact of the matter is that: more shit counters less shit. This is exactly how the Nazis lost WW2. (I'm not saying USA = WW2 Germany!!!!). They might have had better rockets, airplanes, tanks, etc, they were outproduced by the allies. Them loosing was an invitability, the moment USA joined. To those that think "muh nukes" the great equalizer, nobody sane wants that. \---------- Also Europe is just one supplyer if arms of many, and if everybody is buying gun factories, who do you sell to? Okey not everybody does, but competetion will push prices and thos ROI down on units sold. Yes it's not a simple question, and yes you're 100% correct that debt is wastly preferable to bombs being dropped on my head. Well I live in central Europe so if there's a war I'm fucked anyways.......
Just try not to be collateral when mango orders an MQ-9 missile strike on your resort
Can anyone reconcile the distrust for CTM based on previous dilution ($18,000 down to $1 all time split adjusted) And their ridiculous jargon about this new “contract”? If anyone can convince me I’ll put some of my 60k deposit for retirement accounts tomorrow “Missions. The contract consists of multiple Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (“ISR&T”) programs but not limited to, the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Force Family of Systems, P-8A Research and Development, SM Platforms, Minotaur Family of Services, P-8A Increment 3, P-8A Foreign Military Sales, MQ-4C Triton Multiple Intelligence, Mobile Quick Look, ground & mission support stations, and future capabilities.”

Here is the setup from Friday. Basically set your chart to the 5 minute period before opening. Watch for the full 5 minutes to pass, then enclose the candle in a channel, or mark the top of the first five candles on the 1 min and the bottom one. Enclose. See image. Then wait for the peice to break above the top line, and then come back down and retest. Then catch the next green candle. This setup happened between 10a and 1030a. You can easily miss a quick runup that just breaks out and keeps running. But it can also just drop. I like waiting 5 minutes to let the volatility to clear out some, but not enough to kill the juice on the options. I find this setup allows me to have more confidene. https://imgur.com/3MQ3DWD

I’ll add some plays that I believe to be good for cheap right now Snapchat leaps are cheap, MQ leaps are cheap, RXRX leaps are cheap, HOOD leaps are mildly priced, DraftKings leaps are mildly priced as well. You just gotta look for solid companies man there’s money to be made in options if you play it smart. Im planing on opening a second broker account and putting in 300$ and running strictly options just to see what’s possible and if I tank it then oh well but I am curious 🧐
2025 tesla will Rollout 13.2 which is tested now with 50k users and works like we hope for since years. The MQ will rock and the cab will change a lot later in the year maybe the bot. There is no horizon for your shorts
Favorite: buying CELH at $4-6 and selling $45-$50. I missed the top but it’s rare to 9-10X your investment in 2-3 years. Worst: MQ - I still trade in and out of it but what an absolutely dumpster fire of mismanagement in the public market.
What we all need is a massive net defense system. Fuck mesh networks, you can hack that. Need some good ole fashion nets. Low key, seeing MQ - 9 reapers take off in person, they are terrifying. But the biggest threat is how cheap consumer drones have gotten and how good 5g is. DJI sells popular models that don't even need to be registered with the FFA. Curious to see how long that lasts.
Bought MQ calls for ER. Stock is down 40%

They've lost money every year since 2019, totaling $33 *billion* in losses. The stock is down over 55% during that time. They are 9-10 years away from any new clean-sheet design. The strike is estimated to push back production deliveries by almost 9 months, and they reported a $6.2 *billion* quarterly loss. 737MAX sales are in the shitter. Airbus is kicking its ass in total sales, as well as deliveries. KC-46 should have been an easy homerun, but was a disaster. Starliner? Disaster. F-18 production line closing down. They're having to rework every F-15EX, and rework costs have quadrupled in a year. Air Force One? 3-4 years behind the revised schedule. T-7? Over $1 billion over cost, and LRIP delivery is at least 2 years behind. MQ-25? Also at least 2 years behind schedule. B-52J? 2 years behind schedule. Across every project QA/QC has been a disaster. I lost count of the number of whistleblowers. If it wasn't a vital, national security asset, it's stock would be lower than gum stuck to the sidewalk.

I don’t think the dismal is solely because of the following. I because it’s often because if you separate the name involved it just doesn’t look like an appealing investment when assessing the information available against underlying businesses. Compare GME to some busted IPOs like MQ, FRSH, or PATH. They are all also debt free with 25%+ of their market cap value in cash. Blind the names. If you compared underlying fundamental metrics like balance sheet health with operating margins, recent growth, forecasted growth, etc, then would you really end up picking GME. Let alone if you compared to a GOOG, HD, or any random actual blue chip selection. The bull case you lay out when you ignore the name involved is basically that you’re buying a SPAC, but one that happens to be tied to a business that more often than not loses money. That has resulted in it chasing additional financing which has diluted your share. I just don’t see where that comes through as a clearly compelling investment?

We have a volatile market, but going long, the vix is not wise The VIX always and i mean 'ALWAYS ' reverts to the means, and that is 11-12 (may take a month or two, but it will revert to the means) but for a better explanation, look at the UVXY Why the UVXY always reverse splits and will do so again . The thing that " is evident in the long-term charts of UVXY and VXX. These funds have a nasty tendency of absorbing negative roll yield for most of their existence. Because both UVXY and VXX purchase short-term VIX futures, they have to sell the front month futures and buy the back month futures. They must do this regularly. However, the term structure of these futures is usually in contango, which means the front month is cheaper than the back month. The fund pays out this difference to the market in exchange for the convexity offered by the VIX futures in the event of a market selloff. The negative roll yield is effectively an insurance premium paid for protection from a market crash. There is no free lunch. "The UVXY, and UVIX plus a few other etfs are known as widow makers. They always reverse split. SVIX and / or SVXY are the safest bullish bets in the market at present . These short the rise we saw in the recent VIX spikeOur stock market fundamentals are strong, with 79% of reporting companies beating earnings solidly. The recent volatility , imo, was a reset of multiples or a " correction " that offered up some very good dips on high quality stocks. NVDA hit 90 and that was some 17 points ago. There are many other examples we could cite.Guidance for our S& P companies are solid and the thing most are overlooking is that the growth and guidance suggest forward pe ratios that are still reflective of investment grade criteria

Regardless of the truth of this or not, cubic zirconia is a phrase people associate with cheap, fakeness, etc, in pop culture. And blue zircon sounds like zirconia. If you renamed the gem, market it as "Cambodian ocean stone" or whatever, people in America would be more receptive and see it as valuable. Just like seafood! It's getting tougher by the minute to make a buck already.
I work in the industry and compete with CrowdStrike. Keep in mind that for a large company it takes up to a year and a half to migrate from one EDR vendor to another. A small company takes about 3 months. I don't think I would expect to see a huge migration away from ClownStrike (as we call it) because people would have to be so mad that they would have to dedicate a lot of resources in planning out a migration project which includes shorting listing alternatives, selection, training staff on the new solution, deploying it alongside crowdstrike, testing the deployment, going to full production of the new client, and phasing out the incumbant EDR. If anyone will win a significant amount of business from this it is Microsoft. They have defender and it ranks higher in the Gartner MQ and is already installed on modern Windows machines. MSFT sales reps will be pitching M365 E5 Plan 2 hard which will give the org email, CASB, EDR, and AD. Deployment is easier than trying to go with something like SentinelOne which will be ambulance chasing like hell. In reality the future of CrowdStrike will depend on how much they own screwing the pooch on this one. If they own it, apologize a ton, offer concessions, and pander to the customer, they might only lose 20% of the business tops.
Cisco and Fortinet have pretty compelling XDR platforms, I’ve seen both multiple times and they will be leading Gartner MQ sooner than later.
And frankly, if Cylance has made all these strides, the fact that they're not included on the latest Gartner EPP MQ, when 16 of their competitors qualified for the survey, is completely unacceptable.

They already do, sort of, the P-8 is built on a 737 frame. > The P-8 operates in anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) roles. It is armed with torpedoes, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and other weapons, can drop and monitor sonobuoys, and can operate in conjunction with other assets, including the Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton maritime surveillance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
15 days for just the 737. This doesn’t include 767, 777, 787, F-18, F-15, T-8, MQ-28, E-7, KC-46, AH-64, Chinook, Etc. People don’t really grasp the insane amount of money that moves through Boeing on a daily bases. On paper, 27 seems like a lot but when you consider that 27 is around 0.5% of the entire backlog, it’s not much.
None of your points are valid for a bear decision in my view. If you act on hearsay (like the guy abusing CF plan by putting a gambling site with millions of users behind a $250 plan and get CF IPs blocked and causing substantial operational damage to CF impacting thousands of customers, ignoring all calls and emails for a month, finally receiving the ultimatum) you are putting yourself at risk. CEO comments were well over a year ago, since then they changed CRO twice. Firing that employee was part of a consolidation exercise impacted some roles being redundant (which wasn’t handled well). Anyway, up to you to decide on go bear on a company that has the highest market share in reverse proxy market, literally securing a quarter of all Internet, making strides in Zero trust (check movements on Gartner MQ) probably reaching to 4th or 5th position behind ZS, PANW and Netskope. Winning customers from AWS in S3 to R2 conversion. Stock was $115 two months ago, $215 two years ago with half of today’s revenue, so it’s a buy or hold for me. I personally have substantial hold position.
I need the get back in. I hold some MQ which should be highly correlated.
>what stealth aircraft made by Boeing are in the us military The MQ-25 Stingray, the B-1? If I know little, you know less. I don't think you want to bring up the F-35s maintenance and readiness record, it's not exactly roses and sunshine. China isn't close to the US military on a global level, they're optimized for fighting local wars where they have enormous geographic advantages.
That MQ has nothing to do with cybersecurity.
They’re a backup company trying to pivot to being a security company. Most of the money they do make probably comes from backup appliances. Hard to tell as everything is subscription. Their focus has been on SaaS security solutions however. Garter even noted it as a concern in the latest B&R MQ.

I agree it is negative. I'm not in at $28 share. Although I have an ETF that holds Boeing. I'm not interested regardless. Aeronautics is a very interesting industry. My degree is in Aeronautics Management. You don't buy aviation for the short-term it is a very long-term investment. An Aeronautics company will spend billions of dollars I R&D often over the course of many years designing a new aircraft. When they are done they will have explosive profits for purchases over a couple quarters. Then they spend the next decade delivering those orders. Boeing will rebound and look the greatest company on the planet for a quarter. Then go back to lookin like shit. That next aircraft will likely be the MQ-28 an AI operated unmanned military recon plane. Ours and approved allues governments will pay. At that point the stock will fly the roof like Pfizer making the announcement for the covid vaccine. These are cyclical companies. You really need to look at 10 year earnings not quarterly when evaluating companies like this. Now is a good time to buy Boeing. Once they make the announcement of of a $1 trillion sale, that will all fall on a single quarters earnings report. It will already be too late to invest at a value.
My thoughts... Boeing is too big of a government contractor to be brought down by something like this. This was likely a hit job. Big daddy .GOV went in to save their favorite weapons producer. Short list of items that Boeing has built for the US war machine. F/A-18 Super Hornet - A twin-engine, supersonic, all-weather multirole fighter jet. EA-18G Growler - A carrier-based electronic warfare version of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. KC-46 Pegasus - A military aerial refueling and strategic military transport aircraft. P-8 Poseidon - A military aircraft developed for the United States Navy designed for anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and shipping interdiction. AH-64 Apache - An advanced multi-role combat helicopter for the U.S. Army. CH-47 Chinook - A twin-engine, tandem rotor heavy-lift helicopter. C-17 Globemaster III - A large military transport aircraft. E-3 Sentry (AWACS) - An airborne warning and control system aircraft. E-4B - A strategic command and control military aircraft operated by the United States Air Force. V-22 Osprey - A multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL). MQ-25 Stingray - An unmanned aerial refueling aircraft designed to provide the U.S. Navy with a significant increase in range and operational capability. T-7A Red Hawk - An advanced trainer jet developed to train pilots for the United States Air Force. Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) - The next generation of the U.S. Air Force's intercontinental ballistic missile system, designed to replace the Minuteman III missiles. Directed Energy Weapons - Boeing is working on laser and directed energy systems, including the Compact Laser Weapons System (CLWS) and the High Energy Laser Mobile Demonstrator (HEL MD). Autonomous Systems - Development of autonomous and unmanned systems like the Echo Voyager, an extra-large unmanned undersea vehicle (XLUUV). Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile - Boeing is involved in producing parts of the PAC-3 missile system. Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) - A high-capacity satellite communications system for the U.S. military and its allies.
A better question is, are militaries gonna stop militarying? Apache helicopter, F15, F18, Aegis missile, MQ 25/28 drones, directed energy weapons, smart bombs, cruise missiles, anti missile missiles, C-17 Globemaster, Air Force 1, Poseidon, E7 AWACS, CH-47 Chinook helicopters, V22 Osprey... all Boeing products.

TL;DR: Unless Boeing purchases Spirit Aerosystems, I don’t see this company turning around. And even then, it’s going to take a long time. There’s not a lot of material news on the horizon that would move this stock in a positive direction. The rest: They delivered around 500 aircraft last year (YOY increase over 2022, but still below prepandemic) while Airbus was over 800. Boeing has about 5,000 orders while Airbus has over 8,000. Certain bets aren’t paying off - Boeing invested a ton of time and money trying to reinvent the wheel with the mostly composite 787, and it turns out that an Airbus using traditional techniques and materials with the same engines is almost just as efficient (CFM LEAP-1). Single aisle short haul jets (like the 737) are the bread and butter of both Airbus and Boeing, and Airbus is also out-producing Boeing almost 2:1 right now. You may have heard that the FAA has imposed a limit on how many 737s Boeing can build until they’re satisfied with Boeing’s quality control - that is true. But Boeing wasn’t even hitting that number *before* the Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 incident in January. In addition to the high profile 737 MAX crashes in 2017 and 2018, Boeing more recently discovered manufacturing defects on new MAX jets last year (again, QC issues with Spirit Aerosystems. One was poor QC that led to difficulty attaching the vertical stabilizer on the tail, and the second - discovered from that error - was mis-drilled holes on the aft pressure bulkhead IIRC). Boeing is struggling to get exemptions for certifying the 737 MAX 7 and MAX 10. Until Boeing can figure out the 737 MAX series and reliably deliver it to customers, they will keep bleeding. Honestly you could stop reading here; solving the 737 issue both now and for what follows it are the primary challenges facing Boeing’s core business. But if you’re still reading: Longer term, Boeing put its “New Midsize Airliner” (NMA) program on ice in 2020 - before the pandemic. There’s talk of that program coming back online, but more pressing is developing a true successor to the 737. Slapping new wings and engines on it likely won’t be enough to comply with coming efficiency regs; Boeing has already said the 737 MAX family will be the last of the 737s (a design itself rooted in the now-ancient 707). New engines keep getting bigger and bigger (larger diameter = higher bypass ratio = greater efficiency), and the 737 is already struggling to accommodate the CFM LEAP-1s (hence all the software and workarounds that helped contribute to the crashes in 2017/2018). The 737 was originally designed with low bypass engines (very small engine diameter) that allowed it to sit very close to the ground. The massive 777X was originally supposed to be start being delivered in 2020. It’s 2024 and that still hasn’t happened. AFAIK, there are still zero orders for the 777X by domestic carriers. The 747 production line shutdown almost a decade ago. That was a huge cash cow for Boeing for decades. The 767 and 757 are also dead or dying (with the exception of a couple military programs - but we’ll get to that). On the government/military side, Boeing is hemorrhaging money on fixed-price contracts. Over the past decade, I think they’ve lost around $12B-14B. The only successfully managed program that comes to mind is the Navy’s P-8 Poseidon (anti-submarine variant of the 737-800). T-7 Red Hawk jet trainer. KC-46 Pegasus (aerial refueled based on the 767). MQ-25 Stingray (unmanned carrier-based tanker for the Navy). VC-25B (“Air Force One”). Starliner (their competitor to SpaceX Dragon). These programs have all turned into major money pits for Boeing. They walked away from the E-4B Nightwatch (heavily modified 747 “doomsday” plane program, which should have been a slam dunk for them. The MQ-28 Ghost Bat (unmanned fighter) and E-7 Wedgetail (airborne early warning aircraft) seem to be doing decent, but I think it’s too early to tell. Boeing and Lockheed are in competition to be the prime contractors on the F-22 replacement (called “Next Generation Air Dominance,” or NGAD), but it’s kind of hard to see Boeing getting that contract since they’ve been out of the fighter game for so long. So when you step back and take all that together…it’s probably not a great picture.
I'm looking at MQ... especially after those SQ earnings.
Also, the Houthis shot down an MQ-9 Reaper today, and that would be more WW3 worthy. Altho they been doing that too
Honestly, the more I read it seems that most people just aren't discerning because they don't know what quality looks like. These folks really need to go do a vision pro demo, it leaves the MQ3 in the dust, and I think anyone pretending like it doesn't is not being objective.
This is in MR, or full VR? MQ3 full vr is great. If you have your hands in front of you and do a dramatic swoop across your field of view with your arm, you don’t see any ghosting?
I dont know if anyone who watched Zucks critique on the VP actually owns a MQ3, because that had to be a custom rig or they did post processing on the video. My MQ3 has major ghosting, so if you have any dynamic object that walks or moves through your field of view it looks like there is a warp wave moving around it. It makes it impossible to move around in the MR view for any duration. The VP does not have this, and I suspect it’s a big part of the price point. However, in Zucks video I didn’t see any ghosting despite it being recorded on an MQ3. Anyone have any ideas?
Seems like you're paying a premium of an extra 3000 dollars for a marginal improvements over the MQ3. Depends how much you want the best of the best, and i'll admit the apple pro is the best at the moment, it's not *that* much better
Yeah everyone's been harping on meta for pushing VR so hard, but as a MQ3 owner i can see what the hype is about. It's a great headset.
You can’t walk around in MR using the MQ3 without discomfort. Massive ghosting of objects and even your own limbs makes it a non starter for anyone looking for an actual quality ME experience. Vision Pro has none of those issues
US State Department approves possible $3.99 billion sale of MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft, related equipment to India – Pentagon you cant buy or trade general atomics, but honeywell makes these engines fyi
Yea except this is by far the best MR device that’s ever been in the market. It’s night and day compared to other devices like the MQ3… it really makes you realize what’s possible. We will see if the use cases are compelling enough for V1 though.

What were his thoughts on AirPower, Carriers, & MQ-9?
>Maybe this form factor of the product doesn’t work out that well but once they figure out how to condense it into the size of normal glasses and/or get it to a manageable price, it’ll be the next revolutionary product people use daily I suppose that's possible. Apple doesn't tend to be the first out the door with a major product innovation. MP3 players preceded iPod, BlackBerry preceded iPhone... yada yada. So maybe if they can get the form factor down to that of glasses, it can be what Google Glass was envisioned to be, though I still have my doubts... But for now, I don't see this product in its current iteration or any variation thereof catching on, even if the price was cut in half. I know I lot a lot of fun pursuing my desktop via my Meta Quest 2, playing a few games on my RTX 4090 rig (again, I know the MQ2 is a different type of product)... But it's still a novelty that sits on top of a cabinet that currently needs charged and the dust cleaned off. Will Apple's Vision Pro be any different? I promise this - a demo won't be able to answer that. The only answer will be how many people will buy them and then keep using them regularly. I'm convinced the dropoff rate will be unprecedented for Apple products. Anywho, I'm just thinking out loud. Cheers!
