AND we had a recession during those huge return years. C'mon folks. Stop falling for the trap and learn how the game works. This is an institutions game and always has been. RIDE THE WAVE. If you have money to buy the dip, go ahead and buy. If not, just stay the slow and steady course and let compound interest do it's job. Wall Street analysts been saying for years that the market is "bloated", "over bought", "stocks trading 20x their value". Thats the game folks. They start a buying frenzy and sit back watching their billion dollar positions increase. They sell, taking cash of the table and you all panick and sell to, then they buy back in at the lower price. Lather, rinse & repeat. Problem is a lot of you older folks got greedy and instead of minimizing risk and moving out of stocks, you all have been 80% and even 100% stocks while retired or close to retirement. Side Note: Goldman, Morgan Stanley, Citi, etc don't care who the president is because they're still going to make money. PLUS, the "average American" needs to be held accountable to their spending problem. New new cell phones every year, eating out everyday, $600 car notes. "Keeping up with the jones's". That all adds up to enough to have saved for an emergency and buy the dip. If you didn't want this tarrif strategy, you should of been buying AMERICAN MADE ONLY. You can't complain about not having jobs while actively living a lifestyle that supports keeping jobs overseas. They're plenty of American products you all won't even touch because of the price tag, but you want the American workers to make $25+ an hour. How does that increase in expense for US companies translate? Higher prices for the consumer. Your favorite cable news show won't tell you that because they want to keep your viewership. And you all been lied to politically so much that a reality check just may destroy your minds.

Certainly hoping so… I bought into KULR, POET, LODE, WAVE, IONQ, AI all in October and LODE the odd man out. Have tripled my position since though, keep DCA down.
Both are viable options, just harder for major gains with WAVE, otherwise I would say they are somewhat interchangeable.
I’m already in on WAVE and up about 30%. Was just curious what OPTT was bringing to the table since WAVE has been running. I’ll dig in tomorrow and do some research. Appreciate the suggestion.
A better price for one. Wave has a good market cap but it is a lot harder to double $13 than it is to double $.34. OPTT also has an active Navy contract with deliverables expected in January.. ie... short term catalyst. WAVE has their own contracts and appeal... but outside of options, OPTT has better upside potential.

If you don't want to own the hardware, Amazon will lease one to you in AWS. If you don't have the expertise to develop quantum algorithms, D-WAVE will do it for you and run it on their hardware. QC is basically where digital computers were in the 40s and 50s. We have them, they exist, but they are incredibly niche and insanely expensive and require highly specialized workers to use them. We are figuring out what to do with these things besides run optimization algorithms like D-WAVE does, but there is a lot of money being spent on research and a lot of incremental progress being made in the space.

There’s been some exciting things going on in the industry lately. Seems like our tastes are similar as far as stocks but WAVE is another I own. I wouldn't discount ocean power either, but I don't think those stocks are going to skyrocket necessarily, but WAVE has done well for me. I have positions in WAVE because a. Their recent power plant agreement with Taiwan, TSMC alone needs a ton of energy to operate and Taiwan as a whole is generally invested in clean energy because their reserves of non-renewables is limited. B. International stock so they diversify my portfolio and c.it's clean energy so the tiny hippie in my heart is slightly placated.

Provide maximum type bonuses where people would fall over themselves to work for the company. Take as little profit for myself as I can, incentivize my package based on growth/feedback metrics. Hope to God someone smarter comes along that entails these values, find something else to invest in and make the same type of product offering. - gold value per dollar - earn market share by displaying value PROFIT RETIRE WAVE RUNNER I dont need billions in my back account, but id like to find a way to make that happen for everybody else
Those are the breakdowns of technical levels. Technicians/fat-fingered drama queens dark money pool traders have taken over this market. The “fundamentals” are actually similar to those described in the book AT THE CREST OF THE TIDAL WAVE (1995) but that was primarily describing the aftermath of ‘87 and the junk bond debacle — then projecting forward a bit. AI is having its “dot com bubble” moment. I think the next up turn could begin within 3-6 months. But these companies have to have coherent brands/business strategies. No more “free money” from angel investors.
