I rewrote an AES encryption algorithm on an Nvidia graphics card in 2017 using cuda for one of my graduate research classes and at the time swore that Nvidia gpus were going to be the future of computing. Everyone told me that their only use case would be for advanced graphics or highly parallel computing problems that didn’t meet your every day usage. I didn’t agree and thought they would be useful for workloads requiring high computation (ai/llms) but didn’t think that we’d see wide scale general applications of real ML models until the 2030s… should’ve gone with my gut and went all in on Nvidia instead of listening to my friends/colleagues at the time 🙃.
But you can just add another bit and add an order of magnitude to the difficulty. Like just go AES 512, and you bought yourself a hundred years minimum.
Post Quantum security is a scam. AES is quantum secure at 256 bits, then if its not, you can go 512, and 1024, and 2048, and 4096... Like increasing the encryption bit depth barely increases encryption cost, but every bit you add is an order of magnitude in difficulty. Don't fall for this.
I was thinking about this last night and the bottleneck for EGS is drilling expertise. I wonder if some of the oil drillers and well service companies will pivot into horizontal drilling? Chevron is already working on geothermal to a degree too. AES is a big geothermal buyer and CEG has facilities now in CA from the Calpine deal. And for some reason everything is getting downvoted, frustrating.
Was wondering why AES was up so much this morning https://finance.yahoo.com/news/blackrock-gip-teams-eqt-bid-114503205.html
I'm definitely seeing a lot of stocks ready to fly soon. PFE, NVO, MELI, UBER, SMR, AES, FISV, CRWV, NBIS On a riskier play note, I think NIO and EVTL could be multi-baggers this year. Easily up at least 80% from current levels, imo.
The corollary of "buy the dip" is "sell on good news." When there's good news and one of your stocks shoots up, sell it. NO REGERTS. Did I get out of ONDA "too early"? I don't care! Should have I kept holding OKLO? Hard to regret the huge profit I took. Put the after-tax leftovers in PDI (paying huge interest every month consistently for years, no idea how they do it), or a good utility like AES or DUK, or an international staple like HEINY, or if you're feeling speculative, put some in a foreign ETF like EWY (Korea) or INDA or even VNAM. Holding this American tech stuff forever though is going to hurt real bad at some point. Maybe. Except for my RKLB of course - NEVER SELLING.
What do you think about AES corp ?
Is it legitimate to consider the effects on some of the businesses that have been taken over by the government or had assets seized by the Venezuelan government for potential investment. I know some of them like Kellogg are no longer around but I am pretty sure those with money and that hang out at Mar-a-lago have already been whispering in the right ears to make deals and regain assets as part of deals to being money and companies back into Venezuela. This in fact is explicitly something that #45-47 has talked about. For instance in doing some research I see Crystallex (delisted but likely to see benefit through PDV Holding), GM, Williams Co., AES, Smurfit, Cemex, Verizon, Kimberly Clark, Ternium, Conoco Phillips, all of these companies seem to be doing alright and have the infrastructure to reacquire assets and be politically connected enough to be pushing or have already pushed their cause.
AES - (its more than just an electricity company) - with the build out of AI - everyone is going to need electricity.
AES, EIX, TGT, CPB. Thank me later when you don’t go broke during the correction.
AES calls looking pretty good rn
Ok, the basket it is. I’m long AES, BE, VST, UUUU, BN, GEV. Mix of shares and calls. Opening a Samsung position next year
100% agree. I have half my money in TE the other half in FLNC a market leader in battery energy storage its owned by both Siemens and US company AES
AES was one of the best deep value plays I made this year when it touched $10 per share
To be frank either of the other IPPs may have more land, but based on the past few earnings calls I think AES shifted and tightened the belt better. They reduced quantity and focused on quality of site control/dev spend. I’m sure the others are doing the same. The other play here is that AES is global. They power most of South America, and have major footprints in Europe and Asia as utilities and generator. They are a cash cow with hyper focused growth. Not many other companies also bank roll their development vs take on debt to develop a project. Totally different risk profile and return.
Totally agree. Im long AES in more ways than one lol. Would you say AES has secured more long term land lease options for site control than major competitors like Nextera and Engie?
AES. Don’t sleep on it. It’s THE play next year for this, acquisition rumors aside.
My bets are on AES NXXT and PLUG.
I mess with these: ICLN broad exposure, AES for distribution and NXXT for microgrid exposure
That's a silly hypothetical. If it did, that means the encryption many other industries rely on has been cracked too. We'd crash. Also defense is way ahead of offense when it comes to encryption. We already have PQC that just needs to be rolled out widely. We're nowhere near quantum computers being able to crack AES-256
AES. Its been a bargin for the last year. PE of 6x and a 5% dividend. People look at the amount it is spending on new capacity and their high debt levels but its mostly cashflow funded growth and falling interest rates would be beneficial for them.
AES, this is your 2 wks notice
Quantum only solves for RSA and other symmetric encryption. AES encryption, used almost everywhere today, wont be broken by quantum.
AES is my bet for general data center energy exposure. Largest tech/corporate PPA partner and acquisition rumors. Loaded on Jan 2026 $15 calls.
Why do you buy high and sell low? Why can't you hold your stocks for a year or more? It's very unlikely you'd buy a stock close to the year low and they can go both up and down. Most of what you've listed there did really well this year and close to ATH. Value stocks are stocks like PFE, KO, T, VZ, AES, D and such. Based on what you just wrote I think you would be better off just putting everything in VOO or QQQM
PWR is my holding for this issue. Other power/energy related positions I hold include: CEG, NEE, GEV, AES, with CCJ and BWXT instead of the speculative SMR companies.

This is why I have an energy sector in my AI portfolio, currently that's: CEG, GEV, CCJ, AES, BWXT, NEE, PWR. And it's also why the datacenters/neo-cloud are a great short term trade for the next year at least, and they're all on sale today...
Dude??? I am literally GREEN, hard GREEN today: KMI, KVUE, MFG, AES? It seems like I live in the twilight zone.
Am I crazy? Everything is green on my end, KMI, Cyberdyne, AES, EQT, MQ, KVUE??? These are not on a stampede but they've been bullish since April 2025?
KMI's very green tho? Why u red? KMI, KVUE, AES, MUFG, EQT, MQ, NMR? Go and make some cash. Not financial advise, I am a blood sucking bot.
I think news about AES is gonna drop
AES Jan 2026 $15 calls locked and loaded
AES calls all the way. No earlier than Jan 2026 expiry. Acquisition is gotta be announced by EOY and $/share is gonna be above $18-$19, its trading at a discount against its book value, even with the heavy debt it’s backlog and pipeline is a 20+ year revenue tsunami
If I knew I’d be in jail😂😂 but looks like soon, they’re weighing in the cost to buy AES out and cover their debt as well, stock could jump from 14.50 to 20+
Guys AES is getting bought by blackrock any day now BUY!!
My god, please consider KMI. That's a gamma squeeze in the making, I estimate as soon as Blackrock finishes buying AES, the infrastructure energy will rally. KMI is currently undervalued and also a hedge for downturns, as it provides substantial dividends. I am extremely bullish on it, obv, hold a huge posiiton but if you want more dd let me know, I will post something when i have more karma.
My sleeper is FLNC. Been in and out since the IPO, I stocked up heavy on the recent lows. Fluence energy, not really well known, but affiliated with Siemens and AES working in the battery grid storage field. Worth a look!
AES calls pending private acquisition news in the next few months. I’m in for 1/16/26 $15 x 25 contracts. Will be one of the largest leveraged buyouts in history if it happens.
LOS ANGELES, CA - October 14, 2025 (NEWMEDIAWIRE) - Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT), through its Acoustic Science Division's Wireless Sound Association (WiSA), introduced three new solutions designed to advance interoperable, high-performance wireless audio: the WiSA E Falcon transmitter module, the WiSA Connect mobile application, and the WiSA certification application. The 5GHz Falcon module delivers uncompressed, low-latency multi-channel audio optimized for soundbars, TVs and home theater systems, outperforming traditional 2.4GHz Bluetooth with superior RF performance and 256-bit AES encryption. The WiSA Connect app allows users to control and customize WiSA E certified devices via their home Wi-Fi network, while the WiSA Certification App simplifies product development and interoperability testing for manufacturers. CEO Nathaniel Bradley said the new suite positions Datavault AI to meet the growing demand for premium, seamless audio experiences and extend its audio technologies into emerging areas such as robotics and Web3 applications.
I bought some shares in AES 1 year ago with the thought of this AI stuff needs powah. Now waiting on it to pop.
Anyone watching AES? They went up +/- 17% when talks of a possible Blackrock ( GIP ) 38 billion dollar buyout. Then they have remained relatively flat since. But according to HOOD their customers buy volume increased by 45% compared to the previous day. Definitely worth keeping an eye on imo.
This is impossible to read, but my bet is in AES since they're positioned to supply NOW not in 5+ years.
A shit load of dog shit, namely MSOX weeklies, DNN leaps, UNH leaps, UAMY shares, fuck ton of NVDA and PLTR, TMC leaps, AES leaps, SMR shares, DVLT. You know, a mix of informed long term investing and proper dog shit.
I posted the video but I don't understand what he is saying is he looking at options where the front month has a higher volatility than the back month? I paper tested his AES Calender and it made money
I personally think existing power providers with the ability to scale up and service the large data centers are a better bet for immediate supply. My bet is on AES since they're still cheap enough for it to be worth it.
FLNC is the market leader in this space. Siemens and AES are parent companies. You can't have renewable infrastructure without grid scale battery backup. Data centres will learn heavily on BESS Technology
Calls of BLK if they announce acquisition of AES. Too late now but maybe on open
In an AI arms war between the two biggest players, invest in both. At the moment there's a gap in power supply in the US and of course rare earths, and in China BABA is going to be well supported. I've got calls in BABA and AES in the US as a power supply gamble. Stupidly sold UUUU though when it was sagging a few weeks ago. The usefulness of AI is up for debate but what isn't is that both US and China want to be on top of the ladder.
AES will too when they finalize the Blackrock ( GIP ) takeover.

AES is getting bought by blackrock any day now
Probably go up because I dumped for a gamble on AES for an OpenAI partnership to supply power (so that won't happen either).
Blackrock’s GIP in talks to buy 38billion dollar power company $AES. Today someone bought over 500k of calls at 15 strike for 11/7.
AES 15c 11/21 - large volume coming in.
What about AES or is nuclear the only way forward..
AES up a lot AVGO up a lot TGT news came out more news coming. You welcome.
Was the AES pump today the contract news you mentioned?
HE has a market cap of $2B and payoff of the fires is another $2B. $4B is peanuts compared to Blackrock’s $38B purchase of AES. Ok so it has high energy costs and land costs. But look at where it’s located. Right in the middle of North America and Asian massive data needs. Seems like a no brainer for a takeover.
had a great 5-6 days on SPX calls today I was surprised that my almost forgotten AES calls spiked! WAY in the money now, will watch for more news on the acquisition by Blackrock. so moves tomorrow? maybe take profits on AES, and watch from the sidelines for something that makes sense. These endless pumps on S&P have to crumble sooner or later.
chatgpt told me to buy AES tomorrow. I made it pinky promise :3

Yup I lost money in AES but I’m not bearish on the company. I have positions on AVGO and TGT right now as well.
lol wait on TGT AVGO and AES. I didn’t say they will go up in seconds. You’re too much about instant gratification. Park your money in it and watch the magic. I’ll comeback around here in a couple weeks when TGT and AVGO go crazy and when the AES contract news comes out
Do like the rest of us have done for almost a year, rotate into defensive positions, value stocks, select international ETF, and gold and silver The bubble will definitely burst. Nobody knows if it will happen tomorrow, next year, or later Tickers: T, VZ, D, AES, BRK, DAX, FEZ, UAE, FXI, ILF, AAAU
2 companies my insider told me to keep an eye on HTZ AES that’s all I can say
Quantum computing can't realistically break encryption. The reason people say that it can is because quantum computers can use Shor's algorithm. Shor's algorithm half's the amount of time needed to break encryption. AES-256 is the most widely used encryption standard. It takes over a billion years to crack with digital computers. Half a billion years is still longer than anyone is willing to wait. Let's say for arguments sake that it can break AES in a practical time frame. Well we have quantum resistant standards now (lattice based cryptography). Quantum computing can't speed up cracking that at all. So we can all just switch to Learning With Errors (LWE) based encryption and everyone will be fine. The CIA and other intelligence agencies would be able to decrypt your old Internet traffic because they've been openly tapping into undersea cables to archive it for decades now.
Put 200 a week into AES, and reinvest dividends. Put a little extra in if the stock goes down 10%.
And yet, they require L4 by law, from September 1st.. If there's no grace period (unclear rn), the safety monitor will even have to sit in the driver's seat. The Texas DMV has to certify the AES level. I could see L3, to be honest. But for L4 it needs situational awareness that almost never fails. It's been 10 years now of dumb such failures. Like thinking the moon is a yellow light. Basically FSD is a 2D image LLM, prone to hallucination, especially in low light. The cam resolution used to be a ridiculous 1.2 MP, but I digress. Meet Kevin (a big fan) took a ride a couple days ago, and a teleoperator had to intervene, because the car was copying the car in front of it, which went into a parking garage. That's basically cheating. https://preview.redd.it/05bx5sgsj2kf1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fd843c72291b26171bcb2ac2618540dbb9e68e13 Vision-only will get there... But with LOTS more compute. That's what Elon gets wrong. It's not easy at all to create 3D out of 2D input in real time. We never evolved to do fast computation like a processor can. But we did for image processing.
I recently opened a position in AES. The energy transition from renewables to nuclear energy is clear, and although long term renewables aren't going away, the big advantage solar has right now is speed of delivery. Nuclear is the future with SMRs, etc, but it's going to take too long and technology is moving faster than our energy infrastructure can sustain. Coal, renewables and nat gas will fill the void and within 10 years a large portion of data centers will be steaming on nuke power. Good luck out there.
More HPE, TEM and AES. LUMN is a buy but don’t chase it
My guy, if AES encryption is cracked, we have MUCH bigger issues than our Bitcoin bags. Trading platforms, financial institutions, banks, schools, literally everything would be screwed at that point. Bitcoin would be the least of our worries. And I will bring up the point I made earlier (again, if you understood what you were saying, you would know it doesn’t make sense) that Bitcoin is open source and decentralized. So, even if AES-256 is cracked, the network will vote to upgrade the encryption algorithm to be quantum proof because I’m assuming that’s what you’re referring to. And to the next person who wants to reply to my comment, run it through Google and AI first so you make sense or have some idea of what you’re talking about first. Stop posting what you see in your favorite YouTubers videos or what you see in the headlines. Literally an iota of research would have saved us lots of time here.
I was tempted to buy puts when I saw some put flow 5 mins before the bell. It was later followed by a lot of call flow so I decided to watch from the sidelines. My losses were on 0DTEs SPX Calls/Puts. I fucked up. The -2k are some AES calls I bought a few weeks ago, they have earnings today. Not sure how that'll go but don't have much hope. This whole week has been shit to me.
And when you hold them while 30% up thinking you can get 100%+ they go -30% Fuck you AES
