That I agree with, I don’t think skepticism is bad. I think people who seem so sure that the whole ai thing will blow up and the only thing they say is profitability are setting themselves up. The market is very humbling and sooner or later everyone learns that. I’m very much wait and see. I have convictions, I trade and invest separately, but I know that i don’t KNOW shit. I have hunches, I recognize patterns from time to time and I’m not afraid to act but in trading or investing, I’m not in a rush to be right. I’m patiently waiting for what I deem as satisfactory confirmation. In the case of Anthropic I’m not remotely concerned with profitability at the moment. That could change once we get a better view of the full picture, right now I know the revenue explosion is crazy and they clearly aren’t profitable. I also know the premium on growth when they do go public might make it pretty unattractive. All I’m doing is railing against over confidence of the internet on the ai trade. Skepticism is good, but people seem to be very susceptible to confirmation bias in this particular case
