Most of the arguments brought against those investments are just absolutely bullshit. Microsoft up 30% within a month and down 30% within a week... scary? Or just a hickup in a long term trend? That paired with quite high stock valuations, where the price is based on the estimation that turnaround, margin and forecasts are growing forever. Looking at the SP500 and the DOW (DJIA) they do... for 90 years. One could even say why do people buy those stocks although they yield you nothing? Why does a Samsung worker gets a bonus 1000 times higher than someone who holds 50 Samsung shares worth an annual engineers salary ? The dividends are often oriented at the IPO price, they are ridiculous. I am an EU investor and once it happened that I earned TWO whole US dollars in dividends on Palantir, then 15% source tax in the US, then FX fees... I got ONE dollar out. 85 cent of an Euro.

If FCC play by the rules then Leo would be killed stone dead and lose its licence when July2026 comes around. This is because Amazon doesn't have enough rockets to launch enough satalites. And even if they paid Elon for launches that would still require Elon to use up ALL SpaceX launch capability and basically launch every TWO days, which is insane. So it is only possible if Elon did Bezos a solid, which is of course not happening as they are busy with their Starship development. Leo is now DEPENDING on FCC letting them keep their licence despite failing to get the amount of satellites they said they were suppose to have. This news article assume it is a done deal, when it is not. Leo could just croak and die if they didn't get the extension.
