An inflationary tendency that allows for lost or destroyed currency. note - inflation and hyperinflation are completely different. Regular inflation - between 1-10% is healthy - whereas anything over 20% is considered detrimental) 3. cheap, available and easily transactable (the economic term for this is liquidity) 4. Popular enough. What I mean by this is either enough businesses actually transacting the currency or a user base that barters with each other. What makes a cryptocurrency successful? 5. dedicated user base either mining or staking the cryptocurrency. This allows the the blocks on the blockchain to be solved - and therefore maintain the transactions. 6. an active development team - what this means is that while it doesn’t necessarily have to be the BEST technology or development - it does need to have at least some development to maintain the Cryptocurrencies longevity Now - there are definitely other defining factors that contribute to a cryptocurrencies success. However, these are the primary fundamental criteria for a cryptocurrency or currency to be successful. Okay this makes more sense. Because the penalty shouldn’t be more than any gains you made, that would defeat the point of even investing. Government doesn’t punish you that harshly if you show an intent to actually pay. But yes I make sure to follow tax laws and my general rule is give at least the percentage of my tax bracket no matter how much I withdraw so I can’t be harassed later. The most they can do is say I missed a couple extra dollars. A crypto tax accountant is best to consult and the BEST thing I’ve found is researching all your transactions on the blockchain and a crypto tax software will get most of them mainly because if you don’t even try you’ll be in a pickle when your accountant tells you record all your gains and losses. I’ve eased up on trading so heavily, my tax reports used to be a lot of pages when I first started.

I think part of the move was also triggered by binance listing it yesterday on their exchanges for SHIB/USDT and SHIB/BUSD. Also, the buying started yesterday. I don’t think you should have said “invest” anywhere in there though. AT BEST, it’s speculation. More realistically, it’s gambling. You’re gambling that you can enter before the peak and sell before the crash and that when you sell, you walked away with a very large % gain. As such, using “invest” is misleading here. I agree with your statements generally, but a lot of people get the idea in their head that shit/meme coins are an investment, when they’re really just gambling. Investing is saying “I believe this equity/bond/currency/option/swap/etc. will appreciate in value for reasons X, Y, Z, etc.” and then reasons X, Y, and Z show some sort of value add to doing something that provides value to the people that are buying and using that thing they bought.

BEST ADVICE- use that 5 grand as your personal bank and money, borrow from it and always replace what you borrow before you spend more. Use your five grand to stay two months ahead of your living expenses rent, bills etc. and try to make it six months if possible. Learn to read candle charts for trading and you will be able to trade any market, crypto, stock, or FX. Delusional is an understatement over on that sub! Its actually some of the BEST entertainment going.... I've actually started feeling sorry for a lot of the people invested over there, they just don't understand how to critically think and no idea how to actually assess the project or what the CEO/devs claim. My man this doesn’t work because visa gift cards have a fee ranging from 3-10%. BEST case scenario you have a net positive 1% right? Technically no because your rewards are subject to TAX. But a small amount no one is probably going to report. But let’s say you do this continuously and rack up tens of thousands in profit while CB has their thumb in their ass and not shut it down then you don’t want to fuck with Uncle Sam. They’re going to tax that rewards at your income bracket AND if you didn’t report it then you’re looking at penalty fees. Congrats on your -30% profit.
