Sending Fortnite BRICK to an Ethereum wallet. Is it all gone?

Update: Spoke to tech support and they sent me to a status page that had this: We're investigating an issue with the Arbitrum Nova funding gateway. Deposits & Withdrawals may be delayed for Ethereum (ETH), Moons (MOON) & Bricks (BRICK) through Arbitrum Nova. Deposits and withdrawals for related assets are operational on the other chains that they are supported on. All other funding methods are operating normally. We are working diligently to resolve the issue and will keep you updated. So hopefully it will be resolved soon.

tldr; Reddit-based tokens MOON and BRICKs have seen significant rallies ahead of Reddit's oversubscribed IPO, set for Thursday. The IPO's oversubscription, reported to be four to five times the expected volume, has fueled optimism for these community tokens. MOON, associated with the r/CryptoCurrency subreddit, and BRICK, linked to r/FortNiteBR, have recorded gains of 16.8% and 24.2% respectively in the past 24 hours. The anticipation around Reddit's IPO and the potential for these tokens to grow has contributed to their bullish momentum. Additionally, MOON's upcoming debut on Arbitrum One is expected to further drive its growth by providing access to a broader range of applications in the DeFi ecosystem. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. There are only two that were created by Reddit ($MOON and $BRICK). There are a few other community tokens though that have been created by avatar community members that have taken off too. $CONE r/coneheads - created based on the gen 1 avatar, ConeHead. $POOP r/poopheadavatars - created based on the gen 1 avatar, Mouse au Chocolat. There are quite a few more and you can find other community tokens for other avatars if you visit the ConeHead community.

MOON and BRICK are the only ones created by Reddit, the others are made by some people in the subreddits

As u/thelonliestcrowd stated the Vaults still conetinue to exist and were not sunset, only Official RCP Token support by Reddit have conecluded. This only effects (MOON) & (BRICK) as they were the only RCP in Reddit's Beta test of this sunset program. In regards to the ethtrader sub, they have always used a separate system where addresses are required to be registered manually. Our approach is more of an ease-of-use system, where simply already having a Reddit Vault linked to your Username is enough to already get started with Earning & Tipping (CONE)! Since Reddit have already given out over 20 Million free Colletible Avatars, along with the Paid Avatars which both require opening a Vault, most users will already have a Vault when they join ConeHeads. Making the barrier of entry to getting started, very accessible to everyone. If not, opening a Vault is a simple process, which can be done within Reddit in a matter of minutes, without the complexities of downloading any external Wallet Apps or registrations.

The (MOON) Token Smart Contract still exists on the Arbitrum Nova Network. There is some conefusion due to Reddit discontinuing support to their Official RCP Tokens which were (BRICK) & (MOON). The Tokens both still exist and cannot be removed from the Blockchain, they are just no longer affiliated directly with Reddit or supported in the Reddit Vault wallet. BitCone (CONE) has always been independent of Reddit, so we have set up our own system from enabling Token Earning & Tipping through our u/Avatarbot. This is how we've been able to enable (MOON) Tipping & Earning alongside 20+ other Tokens for our Conesgiving Event!

tldr; Crypto exchange Kraken's co-founder and Chairman of the Board, Jesse Powell, believes that Reddit should have provided a "redemption path" for owners of its discontinued crypto-powered Community Points. Powell disagrees with Reddit's explanation that regulatory problems and scalability limitations led to the program's shutdown, stating that he doesn't see the regulatory issues and that Reddit may not want the hassle. Following the announcement, the price of Reddit's MOON token dropped by over 80%, and BRICK token dropped by over 50%. Powell suggests alternative means of redeeming the tokens, such as buying collectible avatars or converting the points to Karma. Reddit's Community Points were ERC-20 tokens initially minted on Ethereum and later migrated to the Arbitrum Nova network. The program will be completely shut down by November 8, and the tokens will become invisible on the platform. Tokens stored in community tanks will be burned by the end of the year. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.

1. No sign of pumptober as market moves to new crabbing range. BTC crosses 27k, ETH at 1560 and moons continue drop to 0.23. 2. Uniswap v4 enables users to be checked for KYC before trading on pools. 3. The number of addresses(157.4K) holding at least 10 BTC has surpassed the previous record set in 2019. 4. BRICK’s has been delisted from MEXC exchanges after internal assessment. Notable Financial Dates Coming Up: * October 04 - November 16 SBF Criminal Trial. * October 25 - Moons Snapshot day.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Whenever MEXC lists a coin/token, they put it under what they call 'Innovation Zone', which just means they give it 60 days, after which they'll decide whether they will continue listing the token. Even days before the end of the 60-day period, MEXC closed BRICK deposits citing 'wallet maintenance' even though there was nothing wrong with Arb Nova and BRICKs, but still had withdrawals open. This was the reason BRICKs had a very different (a lot higher) price in there compared to Sushi and others, but no one could arbitrage it since deposits were closed. Then the 60-day period ended, it got an 'ST' tag immediately after (which simply means the listing is under review). They probably decided prior that they weren't going to continue listing it, probably due to low trading volume. Moons have already passed this 60-day period long ago and have since been classified as a 'regular' listing, so no need to worry about it. Of course, they could still put moons under review any time in the future in case they ever decide the trading volume isn't worth the effort.

The majority of trading volume occurred on Kraken, with the total figure across all exchanges reaching nearly $750,000. There is no clear catalyst for the price increase, but it has defied the wider cryptocurrency trend. Bricks is an ERC-20 token distributed to active members of the Fortnite subreddit and gained popularity in August. tldr; BRICK, the crypto reward token given out in Reddit's Fortnite community, experienced a significant surge in value, rising 131% in price in a single day. The cause of this sudden increase is unclear, as there were no major announcements or changes within the Fortnite community. BRICK is not officially linked to Fortnite or its creator, Epic Games, and was created solely for the Reddit community. Limited liquidity may have contributed to the price shifts. BRICK has a market cap of $15.6 million and a 24-hour trading volume of just over $1 million. The majority of trading volume occurred on Kraken. The token was launched in 2020 as a trial run by Reddit to reward its users. It can be used within the subreddit to unlock features and vote in governance polls. Reddit's MOON tokens also experienced a price increase, possibly influenced by the enthusiasm surrounding BRICK. Both tokens reached all-time high prices over the summer. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.

TLDR: InQubeta (QUBE), Borroe Finance ($ROE), Reddit’s Moons (MOON) and Bricks (BRICK), Ripple (XRP), CortexDao (CDX), and Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

You really shouldn’t. Just look at what MOON and BRICK did from the bottom to the top of the price action in the last year, and this is a *bear* market. The main concern shouldn’t be whether a coin will 10x from here to the peak of the eventual bull market, the rock and a hard place is getting something small enough to deliver a decent return, but not so small that it becomes extremely likely not to survive the rest of this bear market. If you’re looking for 100x, put a couple bucks on a microcap here and there and you might get lucky, but if you’re looking for a 100x to put all your eggs in, you *might* win that lottery, but unlike a lotto ticket when you’re talking about potentially losing all even *just* most of your investment money it’s extremely inadvisable to try to put all your money on one, extremely small, extremely risky horse like that. Set your expectations low yet cautiously optimistic, and play it safe, because “safe” here is still ridiculously risky by traditional finance standards, and I think that’s about the sweet spot. You really don’t want to be playing it risky even by crypto standards.

Why would you want to do that? Anyway there’s a MOON/BRICK pool, but the rewards are almost non existent

RCPs are supposedly a financial incentive to create or share quality content, but as you can see it's actually easier to be rewarded by repeating the same trending lines, posting GIFs, self-congratulatory discussions around MOON or posting personal facebook-like content. if you check on the other subreddit using RCPs (BRICK) the situation is very different: BRICK related circlejerking is heavily discouraged and discussion is kept on topic by the community itself, which is not the case for r/cc that promotes farming instead.

Oh, dude. My computer broke around the time the $15 I put into BRICK on a lark became about $200, so my friend who’s not into crypto got to witness what I jokingly called “the supreme convenience of blockchain” while I recovered my wallet, added extensions, got into sushiswap, and took profits into 3 different coins. I was clear when you have everything set up it’s about as complicated as manually signing into anything else, but when you’re tapping your foot waiting to cash out after something just doubled in like 10 mins it feels like it takes forever. Pro tip: if you haven’t set up a cash out option with a dex, take a few min when you have some free time and set that up *long* before you actually intend to take any profits, especially if we’re talking about your more volatile alts.
